[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a great vibe![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Music was a touch too loud in my personal experience but I'm a little too sensitive to sounds.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We had dinner with a client and our server was super sweet and accommodating. This is more of a high end restaurant and the Chef is excellent and so creative. We were 3 people for early dinner at 5pm, $370 including service. We had 2 first courses and 3 main plus 3 sides.

It had been a while since my last trip to New Orleans, so I spent Super Bowl weekend back in town enjoying some gambling and early Mardi Gras celebrations. My original plan was dinner at La Boca Steakhouse, one of my longtime go-to spots, but a same-day call about kitchen equipment issues forced them to cancel reservations for the evening. With plans suddenly open, we pivoted and decided to try Restaurant Rebirth -- a fitting name considering the change of plans and my familiarity with the space from its previous restaurant days. The menu is fairly focused, leaning toward farm-to-table Cajun-Creole dishes. Dinner started with cornbread served with honey, and honestly, it was incredible. I could have happily made a meal out of that alone (regret not asking for seconds). I began with a blueberry martini that was a little too sweet for my taste, then switched to an Abita Amber, which paired much better with the food. For appetizers we ordered the BBQ pork belly, shrimp and eggplant, and the oyster angel hair pasta -- all very good, with the pork belly being the standout. Entrées included a beautifully presented whole blackened redfish that tasted as good as it looked, a 20-oz boneless ribeye cooked to a perfect medium rare with crawfish tasso maque choux, and a double-cut pork chop. The steak had great flavor but was surprisingly a bit tough, the only real disappointment of the night. The pork chop, however, completely stole the show -- perfectly cooked, tender, and one of the best I've had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the space remains dark, warm, and inviting -- a vibe I've always liked in this location.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Overall: a very enjoyable meal and a great backup plan when our original reservation fell through. I'll definitely return, especially if La Boca isn't available on my next trip to New Orleans.

Great smaller restaurant to get a true feel of New Orleans cuisine. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great service, unique warehouse district decor and ambiance, and great drinks![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Check out their unique menu and make a reservation as the word is getting around and they are starting to get busy!

The BEST gumbo ever. And the Best prom belly ever.

If you like your meat moist , tender, and full of flavor, you must try the pork belly! The greens it rests on is delish and even their gumbo, which is served in a cute little cast iron cauldron is rich and flavorful in the best way possible. Very intimate and cozy place with really nice staff! Even the manager included himself in conversation with us and helped serve the food. Don't miss out on this gem!

I have a new favorite restaurant. This place is phenomenal. We went last night to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was not disappointing. We started with the fried oysters appetizer and the pork belly appetizer and both were amazing. The pork belly appetizer could have been a little spicier, but it was delicious. We then shared a serving of the gumbo. We split a 22 oz. ribeye for the entree. It was one of the most delicious steaks i have eaten in my life. We will definitely go back and recommend this to our friends.

My husband said it was the best Pork Belly he ever had. We went for my husband's birthday and our anniversary. We unfortunately wasn't that hungry and it was later than we normally have dinner but since it was a special occasion we wanted to try an upscale restaurant that wasn't in the French Quarter. We opted for only appetizers. We had a very small cast iron little bowl of gumbo, it was full of flavor and very good! I would definitely have a full bowl to myself if we should ever go to NOLA again. We had the pork belly and my husband loved it he said it was the BEST. We had the greens that were good but a little too sweet for my taste. They gave my husband bread pudding for his birthday but he isn't a fan of bread pudding so he didn't like it but I did. The service was slower than I thought it should be for deserts, but our waiter was very attentive so we didn't mind it much. Unfortunately I am bad with names, but one of the owners also was very attentive. I definitely recommend the restaurant if you want good food, an upscale experience away from the French Quarter. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Ambiance was romantic it's a small restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was very nice that when we walked in they said our names like they were waiting for us. I enjoyed the conversation with one of the owners finding out he previously worked with Emeril Lagasse who I have been a fan of for years.

Food was good but do NOT expect to be served your food for at least 2 hours. We had a party of 6 and after waiting for an hour for our appetizers and now going on 2 hours for our main dishes the manager told us that it is normal ty o expect 2 to 3 hours for a complete meal.

Stale cornbread cake they gave us for free but we found out why. Because it was stale & it took almost 2 hrs for our food

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place smelled like mold, is outdated, dirty[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], & food is overpriced, service was slow, 1 friend got sick & didn't have several options on their limited menu. Would never return

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a quaint, vibey spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was delicious but the service and atmosphere was definitely a vibe! Loved the greeting and convo with Riley, but the service and attentiveness of Jeremy was FABULOUS!

    Whats the dress attire?

Ranged from casual business attire to fancyish nice out.

No prices on their website. Trying to have a little idea of a budget for a trip. Anyone help me out?

With appetizer entree and say 2 drinks you could get a way with $60-$75 per person including tip. Also I had the pork chop its enormous and could probably be share with 2 hungry people. If my memory serves me right that was $28.

My son had the shrimp poor boy and I had the 1/2 & 1/2 Oysters Rockefeller, along with some alligator bits. Everything was delicious and the people were super nice. Everyone in New Orleans is nice it seems. You can find Mr. Ed's just off Bourbon Street a bit, and it's 2 stories with an outside sitting area that is super charming. I ordered the shrimp po' boy, which was around $22, and was surprised it didn't come with fries. Usually places either include them or at least mention that they're separate when ordering. We also started with the charbroiled oysters, and whatever topping or seasoning was on them had this weird crunchy, crackling texture that literally felt like it was cracking against my teeth when I bit into it. I don't know if it was burnt cheese or what, but I personally could not eat more than one. The service also wasn't great during our visit. After our food was dropped off, our waiter never checked back in. I had ordered fries separately once I realized they didn't come with the sandwich, but after waiting about 10 minutes with no update, I finally got up and walked to the bar to cancel them because I was almost done eating at that point. Maybe we came at an off time, but overall it just wasn't the experience we were hoping for and probably not somewhere we'd return.

We had a spectacular dinner at Drago's Seafood Restaurant inside the Hilton New Orleans Riverside!…read moreMy husband's sister and her friend were visiting from out of town, so it was a group of five with me, my husband, our daughter, my sister-in-law, and her friend. The food overall was outstanding, and it was a great spot to take out-of-town guests. To kick things off, we started with a dozen of their legendary Charbroiled Oysters. To be completely honest, we were a little disappointed with them this time. Normally, Drago's oysters are swimming in that famous, rich garlic-butter sauce, but this batch was not as juicy and lacked that extra sauce we are used to getting. They weren't completely dry, but definitely missing that signature butteriness. On the bright side, the rest of the meal was flawless! My sister-in-law ordered a bottle of Kendall-Jackson Vintner's Reserve Chardonnay for her, her friend, and me to share, which was beautifully chilled and paired perfectly with everything. For entrees, my husband and I both ordered the Boneless Beef Short Rib. It was incredibly tender--true melt-in-your-mouth perfection--served over creamy mashed potatoes with rich gravy and topped with fresh sautéed spinach. My sister-in-law got the Seafood Pasta, which was completely decadent with a rich cream sauce over angel hair and a very generous mound of sweet lump crabmeat right on top. Her friend ordered Mama Ruth's Seafood Gumbo and loved that authentic, deep New Orleans dark roux flavor. Our daughter went with the Filet Mignon, which was cooked perfectly and came with a massive plate of hot, crispy French fries that the whole table ended up happily snacking on. Despite the oysters being a bit of a letdown, the entrees, wine, and atmosphere made for a memorable night with family. We will definitely give them another try!

That was really nice of them and we were able to redeem our vouchers at the same table. Mid's: - Spinach Artichoke dip - not a fan of this one. We were all really excited for this because we all love it normally but this one seemed off. It had a weird flavor and maybe it wasn't creamy/cheesy enough. - Fries - just fine. - Cornbread - fine. - Service: Our server got one of our orders wrong (a drink) and did fix it but overall, he wasn't super attentive and really wanted us to order the oysters even though we turned him down multiple times. Casual atmosphere in the dining area. The bar looks nice.
