I use a power wheelchair with a seat elevator function, so right away I was happy to see they had bar seating that I could easily raise my seat up to. The interior was hip and colorful and the staff were very friendly. I tried the Beef Wagyu Taco (5$) and the young goat taco (15$). They also served them with a habanero lime salsa and they had an extra spicy sauce available too. The wagyu taco was not really my thing, because the meat seemed pretty dry and tough even with salsa on it. However, the goat taco was the bomb; it was really pricey at 15$ but had as much meat as at least 3 tacos, and the meat was juicy and delicious, so it was worth it for me. Goat is delicious by the way haha. Another staff member recommended I come to the Sunday brunch, which is 35$ for all-you-can-eat. I think I will indeed do that. Overall; cool place if you are down in Deep Ellum looking for some tacos. Bring a little cash and you'll be more likely to find something tasty. More like boutique tacos than value tacos.

MUST GET THE ASADA WAGYU TACOS! Probably the best tacos I've had. Meat was flavorful and tender! The tortilla is hand made fresh and you can tell!! They also have a taco to go window so you know it's legit! It's so good I had it 2 days in a row lol

    Tamale, Rice, Beans, Mole

This review is for the Sunday buffet. In my opinion, it's not worth the $35. The food was a little bland with little flavor. The tamale masa was dense and the meat needing spice and seasoning. Mole meh, beans flavorless, coffee watered down. The only thing I would say I liked was the cucumber mint infused water. I think they must have paid good money for the influencers to start ramping this place up as if it's the next best thing, but it's mediocre at best.

What friendly folks! Popped in here while strolling around before the lunch crowd arrived and started chatting up the bartender and cook. They let us know about the ethics of avocado harvesting and why there was an increase in their guacamole prices. It was great to hear their commitment to using fair trade and ethically sourced avocados. We wandered around some more after chatting with the workers and ended up back here for lunch. Took a seat on the shaded patio- no sweat for us during the quick and unusual summer rainstorm. Just one vegan friendly (no quest) taco but it was tasty w the homemade corn tortilla. Homemade corn tortilla chips for the outstanding guac. They do it right and take it seriously. Partner had the ceviche and loved it. Loved the presentation of the ranch water in the topo Chico bottle, extra delicious. Super place, friendly service, easy going place with good food politics.

Old school here at Revolver Taco , but some really good authentic cooking...type of place you see in Texas border towns

Ufff!! Wow, how things have changed!! This place has gone downhill and it's post covid. The quality of their food has gone to s*#t for real. We stopped in after the Christmas parade in downtown and we were hungry after being out there all morning, so I decided and said let's go to Revolver Taco Lounge and get some great tacos, NOPE!!! The owner decided to change the old taco lounge where the older lady would make tacos with love and make a it a fancier eatery and now the new location is the only taco lounge and the older lady is out. (I know it's confusing) but I digress. The bottom line is that we all got served cold azz tacos and the sad thing is we didn't send anything back because we were so damn hungry so we ate them. We did mention that to the order guy and he passed that along to the cooks, so they took off an item on our bill. The sad part is that we will never return. Don't you hate it when you have something great and then you want to experiment and head in a different direction with your restaurant and it ruins what made you great in the first place, sad.

Meh. Tacos were just average. The elote didn't have enough smoky flavor. The octopus taco was not worth it at all - overcooked and overpriced. We waited at our outside seating for a while before our order came out. The outdoor seating space was cool.

Stopped in ti Revolver Taco Lounge with a group this week and all I can say is amazing! We had some great tacos from a vegetarian mushroom taco to Lingua! The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was right at home with Deep Ellum! Will definitely be back when in Dallas

Very incredibly mid. AND over priced. I got the fish taco it was $10 for one and it was salmon which was really weird. I guess I was expecting like a Baja fish taco. Either way, worth maybe $7 max because of the amount of salmon. Very underwhelming. Also wanted to try to mushroom taco but they didn't have any more

We were so hungry I didn't even take the picture of the rest of the food we got. There were 4 of us and we sat right at the bar and got the best service. We stared of with a shot that came in a little mason jar looking jug, it tasted delicious. We have 2 drinks each before we went on to eat 3 different tacos. My friends ordered both the octopus ones and I had the duck and beef. We also got a an order of the Mexican street corn with was delicious. Strong recommendation to go for happy hour as your bill can climb pretty fast, but nonetheless a left Deep Ellum wanting to go back for more!

My girlfriend wanted to try some authentic tacos so I chose Revolver Taco Lounge. This place definitely blew away all tacos that we have at home in DC. Makes us sad that we can't get tacos this good all the time. We stopped by on our last day of vacation and we're amazed at how good they were. We got a carne asada taco, Al pastor taco, and carnitas taco. I think the carnitas was the best in my opinion. But my girlfriend really liked the Al pastor. I'd definitely say you can't go wrong with any of their tacos. The service was quick and friendly. We sat at the bar top and got orders in quick and got food just as fast. The ambiance was casual but modern taco shop. They had tons of decorations paying homage to Hispanic culture. I really loved the baby yoda on the shelf. They have street parking but it is definitely limited. Fun fact: this place was featured on a Netflix show about tacos. So if you want to see why they're featured, go try it out. You won't be disappointed.

Great authentic street tacos at revolver. It's literally a "hole in the wall" spot in Deep ellum. I walked passed it twice before I realized where the door was. There are 3 or 4 tables but they also have a to go window. I enjoyed the carne Asada and Al pastor tacos with cilantro, lime and red sauce. The tortillas are made in house. Tacos come packed with juicy meat. The pastor had a slight sweetness and the asada tasted like the grill, they were so good. I can't wait to go back and enjoy a full meal, I was extremely impressed with Revolver.

Foodie Alert! It's Taco Tuesday! If you're looking for a good taco spot, I recommend you check out @revolvertacolounge. They serve an extensive menu of Mexican dishes. I have to say this may be my new go-to spot in Deep Ellum. The tacos are so yummy; my favorite taco is the Al Pastor, and my drink is Paloma Classica. Be sure to check them out and tell them Ms. Hope sent you!

Chilaquiles, not spicy, and the guisados.

I'll skip the pastor and chicken quesadilla next time, and try and get the birria tacos if I'm there on a Sunday. I didn't get a picture of churros but they were the best I've ever had. Crunchy and flavorful. Service was fast, but the calling of your name (to pick up the order) is super low. I don't know how my friend heard our name. There are multiple locations in DFW, and this review is for the Chilangos in Dallas off of Ross. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - The two Chilangos locations I've been to are both located in strip malls with a bright, neon "Chilangos Tacos" sign above the entrance. Inside, there's reggaeton music, tons of patrons, and ESL here. Once you place your order, grab a Jarritos, a bright red metal seat, and watch the staff cook your tacos to order. 1 Star. Service - The staff are very friendly and efficient. It really helps if you speak Spanish, so go with someone who does, or point to the menu item you want. Once you place your order, grab a seat and wait for your name to be called. The staff is super nice and efficient, and our order was available in about 5 min. 1 Star. Food - Birria Quesatacos with consume. Memorize it and order it. Kudos to my son who swears by this dish. I am now a believer. The tender seasoned shredded birria beef is so flavorful. The quesataco style melts the cheese into the corn tortilla. And when you take some diced onion and cilantro to top it, dunk it in the consume before biting into the most flavorful taco served in DFW. According to the menu, this dish is only available on the weekend, but I've used food deliver services to get my consume fix during the week so YMMV. Bottom line, it's not just the best item on the menu, it's the best taco bite in all of DFW. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. Chilango Tacos is expanding in DFW. There are now multiple locations in all of DFW so there should be a location near you. Chilangos Tacos is now in my weekly rotation. 1 Star.

The surrounding neighborhood, however, was a pleasant surprise. It's a trendy, energetic pocket of Dallas that I had somehow never explored before, and it immediately caught my attention. The restaurant itself is quite unassuming. If I'm being honest, it didn't exactly scream "come on in." On this particular night, there was only one employee working. It took nearly 10 minutes just to place my order and another 15 minutes before the food arrived. By that point, I was more than a little annoyed. Then the tacos showed up. Talk about a complete plot twist. Not only was everything beautifully presented, but the flavors were absolutely unbelievable. Whenever I visit a taco spot, I like to order a variety so I can get a sense of what they're really capable of. This time it was the al pastor, carne asada, and Baja tacos. One word....incredible. I can't tell you which one was best! I've had great tacos before. I've had places nail one or two selections. But I honestly can't remember the last time three completely different tacos all delivered a perfect punch in a single sitting. Every bite was packed with flavor, expertly balanced, and memorable in its own way. Without question, this was the best taco trio I've ever had. What a roller coaster of a visit. I went from feeling completely ignored and wondering if I'd made a mistake, to wanting to walk back into the kitchen and hug the chef. Sometimes great food doesn't just redeem an experience--it completely rewrites it. The Taco stand is GOATED
