My BD was really excited to try out Revopot since he had been on an endless hunt to find his new go-to spot for AYCE hotpot. With our favorite spot closing well over a year ago, we have yet to find a something that remotely compares... With this currently being Revopot's soft opening, I was pleasantly surprised by the good amount of foot traffic coming in on a weekday. Our party of 2 were seated quickly and the restaurant began to fill up steadily. The menu is pretty easy to follow: Step 1) each person gets their own personal pot of broth. There are 6 options to choose from. Step 2) meat selections offer beef, pork, lamb, & chicken. Keep in mind that the wagyu option is only available for those who opt for the dinner menu. Step 3) check out the buffet table if you are interested. There is one side designated for dessert/sweets and a 2nd area contained hot foods such as eggrolls and fried chicken. Step 4) customize your own dipping sauce at the sauce bar. Step 5) enjoy the revolving conveyor belt filled with veggies, shellfish, & noodles. Staff is great. Everyone is welcoming, patient, and quick to clear out empty plates. They are very attentive is checking in to see if you were ready/interested in placing orders for your meats- 6 item limit per each order. The establishment itself looks great! Very clean and equipped with comfortable chairs. The seating arrangement, however, is quite tight. I appreciate staff skipping a seat in between each party but without that extra bit of space, eating couldn't possibly be comfortable. 3 stars for the food but added one star due to the fabulous staff. Been here a couple times on the weekend for lunch. Located off of Capital Expressway next door to iTea . They have conveyors distributing the food and you order meat with the waiter which is 6 orders per round. Similar to SeaPots setup. My only issue here is it's almost impossible to get a booth even though they have plenty of 6 seaters. Last time I was there, and we were a party of 4, they said all their booths were taken and sat us at the end of their conveyor area. So we ended up being sat next to someone's child making a mess with their hotpot while the other end, was the curved part of the conveyor with a weird opening to get your sides. Their bar stool seats feel way low and makes it hard for short folks to be comfortable since the counter feels so tall. Also staring at the stranger across from you while you shovel food in your mouth isn't great along with not being able to really converse with others in your party. Needless to say, when we finished and left, those booths were still unoccupied!!! The food, service, and prices are on par with the competition. The sauce bar has a lot of selection which I appreciate and the servers stay on top of your meat orders so you shouldn't have to wait too long. They have a weekday lunch special for 19.99. Their AYCE wagyu is decent and available during dinner and weekends but commands the premium price of $37 pp. Overall good hot pot restaurant but wish they would atleast replace their chairs! read more

Solid AYCE revolving hot pot spot. My brother and I went during lunch hours and tried the mushroom and Tom yum flavored broths which we both enjoyed. David our server as well as other servers/staff were all very friendly and attentive. The hot food bar, dessert/fruits area, and sauces were all clean and stocked up. The revolving conveyor was also consistently full and not empty. It is their soft opening, but I do hope that the service, cleanliness, and everything stays consistent. We tried the ribeye and brisket which we both enjoyed and liked how thin they were cut which made it easy to cook. Out of the two we enjoyed the ribeye more and hope to try the Wagyu the next time we visit (they only offer Wagyu during dinner hours). The only thing I didn't notice on the conveyor was bokchoy which is a veggie I usually go for to put in my hot pot. As for the hot foods, I did try the fried chicken which was fried perfectly as well as the tomato rice which was good. However, my brother did mention that the white rice was a bit on the dry side. As for desserts and fruits, I really enjoyed the selection especially the Pandan bread and carrot bread which were both moist and not dry. I randomly saw this place on Tik Tok and gave it a shot? Okay cool, so it's a Hot Pot buffet joint with unlimited options on everything. From the sides to the meats, you get exactly what you pay for. The soup options are fair, it's nice to see a good balance between those who like different options. As mentioned already, the belt itself has a decent array of veggies and other proteins. It's a nice, unique way to spice up the dining experience. To add to this, you got two parlors for sauces with fruit. I ate here for around 2 hours and left satisfied. Decent place to get your hot pot fix. It's definitely not the fanciest or highest quality but it gets the job done. They have good selection of veggies that revolve around the restaurant. As for meat me and my friends didn't care for the other meats and continued getting the Wagyu. I wasent a fan of the tables as the booth chairs move around and are often not in the correct position so you are either too far or too close to the table. Definitely a hole in the wall in terms of visibility. Decided to come here as it was much closer to my house compared to other restaurants like Seapot. It was late lunch so there was no wait in the front. They did have a special for $20 but it was limited meat plate. However, we opted in for the AYCE meat option. The sauce bar was abundant and they did have great side dishes which included citrus marinated chicken feet, my favorite! The dessert bar included cookies and fruits which a good amount of them were sweet and not too sour. I got the tom yum broth and it definitely had a kick to it, so if you have low spice tolerance, definitely in for a treat. The herbal broth was very fragrant. If you're into that type of broth, I would highly recommend that too. The tomato broth had an abundance of tomato which gave it that nice sweet flavor to it. In terms of the appetizers, there was a nice wide array of hot dishes. We got the calamari and it wasn't salty which fits my preference. For the meat, I really liked the ribeye. It was nice and tender. The brisket was kinda dry for what it is considering it is a fatter cut of meat. Lastly, the service was a bit slower with the drinks and visits for meat order being delayed. *Visited on a Wednesday during their soft opening with a group of 6 :-) I just want to give a HUGE shoutout to Sophia who was our waitress and made our first experience so fun and amazing. She was very attentive and made sure we were all taken cared for. Revopot being located right next to iTea is dangerous, but the restaurant itself was renovated well and was pretty spacious despite there being 3-4 conveyor belts, a full bar, 2 sauces bars, and a fried foods bar. Though their menu may seem limited, their meat cuts are pretty good and works well for the different hot pots. OKAY THE FOOD: * Miso soup base- this soup base went surprisingly well with all the mixed toppings and different meats. I genuinely enjoyed my meal, though I do want to try their other soup base options. * wagyu meat cuts - they were pretty decent and the plates just kept coming. It was pretty filling, though one plate came with about 3-4 slices, it was nice that we were able to get multiple plates at once (I believe it's 1 meat plate per person and we came with a group of 6) *Sauce bar - it was VERY clean, and seemed to be well kept. If you asked me what meal I want as my last meal, I'd probably answer "hot pot!" That is literally how much I love hot pot that I find myself eating it at least once every week. I've been eagerly waiting for this place to open ever since I saw that there was going to be a conveyor belt hot pot place opening nearby. To my content, it opened for soft opening over the weekend. My husband and I came here for weekday lunch and opted for the wagyu. The meat came out promptly and I love that the conveyor belt makes all the other complimentary items like fish balls, veggies and seafood readily and accessible. The soup bases were super flavorful and umami, not the watered down soup you get elsewhere. There were two sauce bars with one hot appetizer table in the middle. That makes things easier and I can envision the two sauce bars coming in clutch when this place gets crowded. In addition, there was a good amount of fruit and dessert items. The staff were super friendly, prompt and attentive. They refilled our meats, water and napkins super quickly. Literally my cup of water was never empty. The conveyor belt was also refilled promptly. I would grab something and found it refilled the next time the belt came around. Overall, I'm super pleased that there's a new hot pot place near by. The Soft Opening experience was something of a learning experience for both customers and the staff.. As far as the menu is concerned, the broth offerings were quite varied, and the meat selections were limited compared to most other similar restaurants. One would have hoped that they are able to focus on getting their ingredients dialed in. The sauce bar was well stocked, but because of their focus on providing a Chinese hot pot experience, the otherwise popular ponzu was nowhere to be found. This was discussed amongst the staff and such a decision to add it to the bar in the future is up for debate. Staff was amazingly friendly and accommodating. You can tell that they were very much focused on providing a great experience and pushing for success. There was always someone helpful and making sure that you had adequate drinks and meats on your table. Cleanliness could be a little bit better as the setup for the table has the hot pot recessed into the table, and cleaning up the stoves could be difficult long term, especially when pots boil over and make a mess.. Otherwise, the rest of the restaurant was really clean. The entire conveyor belt concept is one that's been used often in other similar situations, and my only critique is that I do question a little bit about food safety with regards to what is placed on it or not. Veggies, tofu, noodles, and some other ingredients are going to be fine, but the shrimp and little portions of what I assume are liver are a bit more questionable how long they are able to stay on there. The meat cuts were a bit inconsistent from plate to plate, but paired with a good broth and dipping sauce.. and you're pretty good. Sodas, despite them providing cans, were still free refills... Could be that they haven't gotten a fountain yet, as it is still a soft opening... but I hope that they will be able to make that work better. Overall, the service was excellent and the food experience was ok.. The location of the place seems to be perfect, right where it needed more traffic in a huge almost empty lot. This place gave new life to the plaza. The seafood and vegetables small dishes rotates on a conveyor belt, which you get to pick what ever dish you like to add your broth that you get to choose from a list they have. They offer many different broths and have a hot food and salad bar, which is next to the diy sauce bar. The meats, you would need to order with the wait staff. Many to choose from. Inside is very spacious and also crowded. Staff is very friendly. They do not offer grill your own meat here. Just hot pot. The seating is huge enough for large groups or there is bar seating which gives every person in your group a chance to grab their own dish. This is our go to for big family dinners. read more

My family was excited to try another AYCE hot pot spot! We came on a Thursday night and were able to get the last booth. From what I saw, it seems like 1/3 of the place is booths and the rest are counter tops (unless there were more booths all the way on the other side of the restaurant?) We ordered our broths and meats and started grabbing fish cakes, veggies, and seafood from the conveyor belt! They have 2 sauce bars with your classic sauces (although the garlic seemed like it was from a jar rather than freshly minced) and there's a section with fruits and Vietnamese desserts. The table space isn't much so the waiters recommend for you to put the meats on the glass above the conveyor belt (the plates don't slip). I think the selection in the conveyor belt was as per other places (although missing my favorite fried bean curd rolls), but the meat quality was just ok. Not very impressed and I feel like I didn't end up eating as much meat as I usually would compared to other items. We ordered some of the fried appetizers but the batter was thick and pretty plain... wings and calamari didn't seem to be seasoned. The best was probably the salt and pepper fish, altho I wish I got to try the egg rolls. Also the sesame balls were good!! Miso was a little too salty for me. Even with all the meat and vegetables cooked in it, it didn't satisfy that beefy flavor that I usually get from Shabuya. The sauces also tasted a little off even though I used the same ratio I would from other hot pot places. Decent choice of meat though - the A. Wagyu was my choice of beef for sure followed by the rib eye. My partner and I got full after 2 rounds of beef so definitely worth the price if you can get 4+ plates per person. I've been back twice since my last review because our friends and family wanted to try it, so I'm updating my review today after having a really nice experience. Our server, AJ, was very helpful and sweet and assisted us with everything we needed. The wait for our food was much faster this time around. We also needed to change our soup broth for one of our family members, and he was able to take care of it without any issues or any additional charges. The service was great this time around, and we were seated faster. Tom yum is still my favorite broth here, and everything was great as usual, definitely better than our last visit. Revopot is the latest conveyor belt hot pot restaurant in the Bay Area. It is located next to iTea and there is plenty of parking. The restaurant interior is so clean in comparison to other AYCE hotpot restaurants! Staff is super thorough with hygiene. Each person gets their own personal sized hot pot and can take additional sides from the conveyor belt. The restaurant is mostly counter seating, but booth seating is also available. The Tom Yum Soup has a slight kick with a taste that leans more towards sour. Pieces of tomato and pineapple were already in the soup base and supplied additional flavor. Conveyor belt items are in small portions, helping reduce food waste. Diners can take as much as they want so the portion sizing is not a con. There are multiple seafood, vegetable, and noodles options. As for meat, people can order 2 plates per person at a time. Wagyu is served here and the quality is better than other hotpot places. For maximum efficiency, Revopot has two sauce bars to reduce wait times. They also have a dessert and fruit table. I was surprised to see additional sides dishes (rice and egg rolls)! The servers were very attentive and accommodating. As soon as I emptied a plate, they immediately cleared it away. It was nice of them to ask if I was looking for something specific when I had been looking at the conveyor belt for a long time without getting anything. Some diners were putting used dishes on the conveyor belt after finishing their food. Upon seeing this, staff professionally handled the situation quickly. Major kudos for addressing it promptly! Only downside of Revopot is how the conveyor belt goes really slowly. This might be frustrating if there are specific items a person wants to eat. Patience is key and the slowness becomes a moot point after retrieving the desired ingredients. Expect a 30+ minute wait time during dinner rush on any day. I love AYCE hotpot, and I had to come here. It wasn't busy when I arrived, which was good. I waited a few minutes until I could sit down. I got my order and love that we can dig our own sauce. Also, they have a recommendation for what sauce to make. I went back to my seat and I have the broth and water. I had the kimchi broth, which is always a crowd-pleaser for me. But they forgot the meat. The whole row already had their meat, and I didn't. I had to ask the server where the meat was. They gave it to me, but why did everyone else have their meat, and I was waiting? The whole row ordered the meat at the same time! I ordered the ribeye and wagyu (available only during dinner and weekends. I went here on a weekend). Both meats were delicious. There were only a few strips of meat on each plate, so you have to keep ordering. Which is fine with me, but they keep forgetting about my order. They will come and take my order, but I have to wait to get it. It took two servers to finally pour me another glass of water. I understand it got a bit busy, but they kept helping others multiple times and didn't help me when I asked for water or more meat. The price wasn't bad, and it was a great spot. Others, they were ok. Not worth the room in the tummy. Conveyor Belt: 3.5/5. If u see what u like, grab it right away. Otherwise, you might not see it for awhile, a looooong while! Note: they didn't refill the dessert and hot food. The selection on the conveyor belt wasn't great. I saw certain items on it and thought they would keep those items available throughout, but nope. First and foremost I want to say this is an amazing place to eat at. The staff comes and checks in on you if you need anything. This was "soft opening" so I honestly can't wait for their grand opening. This place is an AYCE. The broth that I got was their Herbal broth. My boyfriend who will also be writing a review had the Tom Yom broth. Pro is that the meat comes out fairly quickly. The staff will come and greet you and get all the meat and drinks for you. Server Nhi was really good. She put in our meat orders right away, and they came out pretty fast. The fried calamari and salt and pepper fish were both crispy and hot, like they were just fried. The flavor was spot on, really authentic like what you'd get at a good Chinese restaurant. I got the spicy mala broth, which wasn't my favorite since I've had others with a bit more flavor. It was definitely numbing, but the taste leaned on the blander side for me. The meats were okay quality- not the best, but definitely not the worst either. I liked the conveyor belt setup for the sides. The portions were perfect, two of each item so it didn't feel like too much of any one thing. The sauce bar was solid, though I do wish they had real garlic. The fruits were fresh, and I liked that they even had jelly. Service overall was great. The servers checked on us often, cleared plates quickly, and kept the table clean the whole time. Overall, it's a solid place and I'll definitely be back to try other soups. I loved the variety of veggies, which is always my favorite part about hot pot. They had a few different types of noodles and a nice seafood selection, everything was fresh. Walking in, I was impressed by the size of the space. It was welcoming, and nicely decorated. Our server was very helpful and attentive. The meats were all sliced thin, like I prefer for hot pot and very good. One thing I thought was really cool with the hot bar and sauce bar. Pretty good spot with similarities to Sea Pot. Broth - Spicy Mala 5/5 - Extremely well balanced with just the right amount of spice as not to distract from taste profiles and not to give you an overwhelming numbing spice. Also pretty filtered as it doesn't come with a bunch of random Sichuan peppercorns inside as Sea Pot often does; and thus that is appreciated as well. Meats 4/5 - I think the meat selection seems kind of small, and I say this just because of their conveyer belt selections as well. With that said, some of their meats tend to get extremely tough and chewy when even just slightly overcooked so I do recommend keeping an eye on them. Obviously overcooked meat is usually tough but this is probably the one place that it is very obvious and a lot more pronounced. Conveyer Belt/Sides 4/5 - Very limited when compared to other similar places, you can expect maybe 2 options of each kind, e.g. 2 cabbages, 2 tofus, 2 noodles, etc. This may be a bit skewed because I do see that in Yelp pictures a lot more items were available versus when I went. Speed/Selection Available 3/5 - The first 15 minutes we were there, we were sat in the exact middle of one conveyer system and essentially the entire 15 minutes, about half the belt was empty. I'm not too sure if this was because the people in the front kept taking everything but it is quite interesting to see an empty conveyer for that long. This did improve throughout the visit, gradually filling up, especially as people left or were done eating, but was kind of sad not to see certain items until the last 15 minutes. Service 5/5 - Was checked on every 5-10 minutes which was great, never required calling our waiter because everyone who is walking around can help you. Speed of items coming out was extremely fast as well, meats took less than 5 minutes with the exception of our last order. Extra items ?/5 - Did not try any extra items, but they do have things like rice + fried chicken, which not many people seemed to get. Parking is a big plaza so I don't think there should be any issues. With that said, I do think this is a bit more meat-forward place, versus Sea Pot which is more side-heavy so it is dependent on what you're looking for. read more

Friends and I came for their soft opening to check out it's potential and I will say, I will be back later on once they're more established and settled in. I just love the novelty of having side dishes coming out on the conveyor belt. There were about 8-10 booths and the remainder of the room were a few aisle in a bar seating arrangement. Felt very open. For meats, I appreciate the small portions and thin slices. My table enjoyed the brisket, rib eye, wagyu, and lamb. There wasn't any pattern or logic how the side dishes came out on the belt. I just happened to be seated with an angle where in can see the person plating dishes to be placed on the belt. During the first hour we were there, there was only 1 plate of shrimp (2pc) that came out on our belt. In the 1.5 hours were were there, i only saw 1 plate of udon. You can always ask the waiter/waitress to check the back and bring out the sides you want. It would be nice if their menu includes a list of all the sides they have available. Looking forward to see what more they can offer when the hot buffet and dessert stations are full. read more

I enjoyed the conveyor belt concept, variety, and actually the portion size as well. Perfect amount to be able to try a little bit of everything. The sauce bar was great as well, but the dessert/side dishes were a little lacking (only a few things were available despite signage listing a variety of things I would've liked to try). Service was excellent - plates were quickly cleared, which is important given the lack of space around the conveyor belt seating. Meat is ordered separately (each round of order is 4 max per party, not per person FYI), but someone will promptly ask if you want more meat when there's no meat around you waiting to be cooked :D It's definitely a fun concept and good enough to take out of town guests to, but will not take over as my go-to hot pot place. read more

By the time we left around 7:30PM, there was a bunch of people waiting outside so I'd recommend coming before 7 if you want to avoid a wait! We tried the mala, miso, and mushroom broths. The mushroom was a bit too sweet for my taste, but the spicy mala was pretty good. My friend thought the miso was just okay. I liked that the miso had bits of tofu and seaweed in it. For meats, we ordered the brisket, ribeye, wagyu, and pork belly. The quality was a bit all over the place...each round looked and tasted different, probably due to different cuts. I really liked the brisket in the second round when it had some fat, but the first round's was lean and a bit tough. I wasn't a fan of the wagyu either. The revolving bar had limited options in the beginning but more dishes came out toward the end of our meal (when we were already full LOL). That being said, I still think it's worth checking out while the soft opening discount is happening. Hopefully, they'll work out the inconsistencies . My parents really enjoyed the hot food section and the fresh fruit. There was also a taro jello mochi like dessert that was pretty interesting! The service was great. Our server checked in on us multiple times. I also liked that we were seated facing the revolving bar, so everyone in our party could easily grab what they wanted without reaching over one another. Normally I start of reviews about the great food, but this time I'll start it off about the service. Really exceptional service. They kept our table clear of the empty dishes and water refills were never an issue. We were offered refills on meats but we wanted to try all the stuff from the conveyor belt. Lots of choices! So many to choose from, I'm sure there's something for anyone in your party. Quality of the meat was very good. The hot buffet food selection was small but nice. It was a good option but not what we came for. There was also a cold buffet section with fruit. Only thing that would be help is a dessert option. They didn't have their taro dessert. Some good soft serve or sweet treat would have made the meal even better. read more

Came here just three days after their soft opening and wooow -- talk about a solid start! The customer service was a 5/5. While it was a bit slow at times (understandable for a new spot), every staff member was kind, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. You can tell they're putting in the effort to create a great experience. Tried the Tom Yum and Mushroom soup bases -- both were fire, but the mushroom one? Def a 10/10! Very rich, savory, and comforting. The meats were pretty good for the value. I kept going back for the brisket and wagyu, which were definite standouts. Aside from the revolving belt, they also have a buffet-table section with fried rice, chow mein, appetizers, fruit, and desserts. Loved having those extra options. I personally thought the revolving belt could use a bit more variety, but it was constantly restocked, so you're never short on choices. Overall -- super solid first impression. I'll definitely be back :) This might become my new go-to hotpot spot! read more

so excited to try revolving hot pot!! the service was good and the area was clean especially the sauce bar ! i got too overzealous with the fried foods at the buffet table tbh and ended up eating too much fried chicken and noodles which made me a little full before the main event aka the hot pot and meats which was such a rookie mistake. also the noodles from the buffet wasn't the refreshest but it was probs bc we went later in the night i got the tom yum soup which was good but later i think the flavor was too overwhelming and salty for me to finish. overall the revolving belt with the toppings for the hot pot was a fun experience. however, i do wish that the toppings had signs or labels next to them when they came out to help identify which item is which. read more

Came by for their soft opening on Monday! Revolving Chinese hotpot very similar to Seapot and covered the classics: assortments or veggies, noodles, shellfish, and meatballs. 2 sauce bars, a stacked fruit bar, rice and fried chicken wings, and hot taro dessert all self-served. Spicy Mala and Tom Yum were tried and both were delicious! Mala was a little mild but you can ask for more spice! Tom yum had strong lemongrass flavor which was great! AYCE american wagyu, rib-eye(my fav), brisket, pork belly, lamb, chicken. We were seated a while before the servers came to take our soup/meat order... Small tables, we had 6 rounds of meat per round and had trouble fitting all the plates so we combined the meats once the server dropped them off. Very nice staff! read more

Husband and I came here on a day date. The service was good and they explained the menu to us but the food itself was just okay. I think this is a good spot if you're looking for fast and convenient but it's not the best hot pot we've tried. I don't know if we would come back. read more

I found out about a good lunch deal here and visited during the weekday. There were a lot of tables filled up at the restaurant, surprisingly! I thought the lunch deal was perfectly priced for AYCE sides, AYCE hot foods and 3 meats of your choice - all for $19.99. The conveyor belt was refilled constantly - plenty of fish balls with roe to grab! ;) Brisket and ribeye was tender, I liked the ribeye more bc it was on the fattier side. I'm so glad we have another option for hot pot in the area, especially an AYCE hot pot. Conveyor belt items include all of the vegetables and seafood, while the meat, including the wagyu, can be ordered from the wait staff. Limit two meats per person per order, but you can order as much as you want. There is a hot bar, a cold bar, and of course, the sauce bar. Service was very good, I just wish there were more meats available. read more

Compared to Seapot I feel like they were limited in meats (ordered from the menu) and seafood/veggies rotating on the conveyor. The mushroom broth was flavorful and it was nice that they had a large sauce bar. They also had a hot bar that had foods like fried chicken and noodles. Made a reservation for a birthday party 2 weeks prior. Our whole party arrived on time, but still had to wait 40 minutes for our table. We were informed that the guests seated in our reserved table had paid and are sitting and talking at the table. No efforts were made to turn over the table. We were just told to wait. Other than that, the food and service inside was very good. The variety was good, and ingredients were fresh. Employees were very nice and made the experience more fun. Hopefully they will be able to improve on their reservation system. read more
