Came here for a holiday celebration for a group of 6 people. We ordered the vegetable paella, the artichoke, and the shawarma platter with some Spanish fries. It was a good amount of food. Everything was well prepared. My favorite was the artichokes! Nicely seasoned and not too raw as most places tend to make them. We were told the paella would take 20 min but it took a long time for it to come out at the end of the dinner service. I asked 2 times for it and I was told it would come out soon. We weren't in a rush but most of the others forgot about it when it came out. Service started to be a bit slow when it gets busy here, but overall a positive experience. P.s. Went to Reyna with friends tonight and had another epic experience. The service is unrivaled here - It's top notch. The dining room is hands down one of the most beautiful in NYC and the food is next level. The lamb baklava is one of my favorite bites of all time. If I could give 3.5 I would. Reyna was a great date night. Our server Thaddeus was informative, friendly, and attentive. He guided us through the menu, and was great about keeping an eye on our needs even though the restaurant was super busy. The cocktails were amazing!! Expensive but delicious and with beautiful presentation. My French Pornstar came with a shot of Prosecco and syrup balls to construct at the table. The mezcal smoke show was another winner. I loved the Greek fries, so much so all weekend I've been telling anyone and everyone to come back with me for cocktails and fries during Happy Hour. Unfortunately some of the other dishes fell short. The salad dressing drowned the salad and the crispy artichoke were soft and boiled under a light batter. My husband loved the lamb baklava but it was a very small portion-- even for tapas. The cappuccinos were actually phenomenal. Here are some of my takeaways: - The relaxed ambiance really set the mood even while it was light out, you walk in here and it still gives you that lounge vibe which immediately makes me want to order a cocktail - The cocktails price from $18-25, they do pack a punch for the price and there are basic happy hour options during the week from 4-6p - The bar area is large so this is an option if you want to come in for a quick bite and a drink but you should definitely make reservations if you dine here because it gets packed quickly after 6p - I'm big on ordering octopus when dining in Mediterranean restaurants and I would say it was a bit overcooked, the flavors were great , I just needed it done a little less - My favorites were definitely the Lebanese tacos! This place is famous for it and they did not disappoint! Both the falafel and chicken tacos were delicious - The lamb baklava and meatballs were my second favorite of the night (I'm drooling just writing about them) - Service was great, no complaints (all of our menu questions were answered and our waiter was on point with his suggestions) - Our table shared the Sea Beam (very meaty clean white fish) which was prepared and presented beautifully but lacked a bit of seasoning - An unexpected fave from the group were the falafel sliders and the fried artichoke l, we just kept going in for the artichoke Overall this dining experience was a win. The place has a beautiful Victorian ambiance. Justin loved the music and we loved the chandeliers. The pictures on their menu match the vibe of the place. Justin ate shortrib grilled cheese, which had gruyere, braised veal short rib, caramelized onions and was served with fries. Justin ate all his crispy shoestring fries and ate half his sandwich. I don't think he liked that it had a hefty amount of mustard with seeds on the sandwich. I had the lamb shank benny, which had cauliflower rice, flatbread, pulled lamb shank, lamb jus hollandaise, pine nuts, gremolata. The cauliflower rice was great. It tasted like cold slaw. I loved the runny egg on top. I wish I had gotten us both this dish. For drinks, I had 3 of their specialties for which I loved their descriptions and quotes. 5 stars and they earned it across the board -- food, drinks, ambiance, service -- all 5 stars Ambiance first -- it's a beautifully designed space. High ceilings, open air windows in the front, vibey but not overly designed decor. Really cool setting. Drinks -- important to call out that Reyna has a heavy emphasis on their cocktail program. They use a ton of fresh and house made ingredients and their program is up there with some of NYC's better cocktail bars. We had a few different drinks and all were inventive, beautiful, super fresh and really enjoyable. Food -- tapas style and pretty much everything they put down was amazing. Manchego cauliflower croquettes were actually some of the best bites I've ever had, anywhere, period. Do not come here without getting them. Grilled octopus was delicious. Falafel bites fresh and tasty with really nice homemade tzatziki. Wife loved the wagyu slider. Everything was really really good with dynamic flavor profiles and really nice balance. Service -- saved this for last because despite how good all the above was, the service was the best. BIG SHOUTOUT TO RASHAD, a great human who took tremendous pride and joy in serving us. He's a great reminder of what hospitality and service means in an age where it's become a lost art. Came here for a dinner with my wife. Modern chique decor, tall ceilings, and hip music create a fun, inviting ambience. The food here is basically Mediterranean tapas, very shareable. The Lebanese tacos had good portions of meat and were delicious. The wagyu slider was melt in your mouth and flavorful. The lamb baklava was unique: lamb was tender and seasoned nicely but the bite was a little sweet from the syrup. Drinks were solid. We had a fantastic experience at Reyna! It was our first visit and we came for Sunday brunch. Service: Our waitress Chrissy was so nice and also really brought the energy and enthusiasm. We had a couple questions on the menu which she was able to answer and give recommendations. Food and cocktails came out super fast but they didn't rush us and were attentive throughout the meal. Our server walked us through the Tapas style of ordering and eating. Her suggestions were spot on. The first bite of Manchego Croquettes told me we were in for an experience. I went for a group dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday, and the meals were served family style, which worked out great. I feared that we would leave hungry but that was definitely not the case, at least for me! We were never rushed and the food seemed to have been perfectly timed, one after the next. The presentation was excellent and the servers always explained each dish before we ate. The drinks deserve a paragraph of their own because they were an experience. Not only did they each have a unique name but they were beautifully crafted. I ordered The French Pornstar, which came with a shot of champagne, on the side, and passion fruit jellies on a tiny spoon! My tastebuds felt so much joy! I literally had a moment where I grabbed by friend with eyes wide opened and said "WOW!" I would go back simply for that phenomenal drink! Though, pricey, all in all, this is a place I would totally recommend to people wanting a top notch dining experience. Me and a close friend decided on Reyna for restaurant week and sure was not disappointed. I was seated nicely while I waited for my friend and they do inform you that there is a limit to how you are seated for as it does get pretty busy. We had a very attentive waiter who explained the menus and the options we had and gave suggestions on which selections are more fulfilling. There was also happy hour and their margaritas were not disappointing at all! I had the lamb appetizer which was deceiving in size and texture because once I tasted it, my taste buds were so happy, I wish I had more. My friend had their ceviche which was also just as amazing. For entrees I got the Lebanese tacos with a side of elote. The tacos were very fulfilling and delicious , as someone who loves tacos , these were to notch. The elote was okay, not the best I've had but still eatable, could have been cooked longer but everyone makes it different. As a dessert had the sammie's, smart than expected but have to remember it's a tapas style restaurant and they were great so so complaints bere. Overall we enjoyed the restaurant very much and the pace itself is gorgeous and very popular on Thursday night. Make sure to make reservations. read more

Came for dinner. The service was excellent, very attentive, friendly and the food came out quickly. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, though a bit loud. We wanted to explore the menu so we tried 6 different dishes. We started with the housemade dips: pita, crackers, cucumbers, tomatoes and carrots with muhammara, beet tzatziki and labneh. All 3 dips were good, but the muhammara was excellent. We also ordered the lamb baklava (different but tasty, one per order, the size of a very large bite), falafel (3 bite size falafel, pleasant but lacking in overall flavor), lebanese chicken tacos (2 tacos, enjoyable), the chicken & lamb meatballs (5 meatballs about 2 bites per meatball, unusual flavor but good) and the manti (6 per order, one bite each, best dish of the night, tied with muhammara for tastiest bite). I literally stumbled upon this place while I was looking for a dessert shop. I couldn't help but stop to look at the beautiful decor. I was there just as they were opening so I could enjoy how pretty it is. I decided to get a quick bite to eat. I was seated at the bar and began looking for vegetarian food options. I finally settled on the Lebanese tacos & placed an order. Later an annoying woman sat next to me and began chatting so much it distrusted my peace. However, through her I learned there is a separate happy hour menu. I wish I was given that menu along with the main menu before ordering. Seemed like an afterthought. From 4-6pm on Thursdays & Fridays there are select items that are $6 each including some food & drink options. Ask for the '6 for 6' menu if you go there on those days. A great way to try this place & save a little money. Alas my tacos arrived. For $20 the tacos are small. They come in a set of two. A crispy flat bread shell filled with falafel (or chicken option) and a few veggies. Very basic in flavor. I tried the falafel bites too. These come in a set of 3. An okay snack with a drink, but nothing special. Overall, the food mediocre, but the decor is stunning & the bar/front desk hostess were friendly. Beautiful place, with a gorgeous bar and decor inside. Would be wonderful for intimate dates or lowkey catchups with friends. The service here was also amazing. However the food was a little underwhelming. I love octopus and order it everywhere I see it on a menu. As much as theirs was well seasoned, and beautifully plated, the actual texture was a little overcooked, tough and rubbery. Wish it was more tender. The roasted shishito peppers on the side were delish though. I also love labneh, usually creamy, thick, and fresh, but the labneh dip here was a little underwhelming. Super thick but lacked something in the flavor and the sides that were presented didn't seem very customized for it. I assume they give the same veggies and breads regardless if you order labneh or hummus or etc..... I wish they customized it a little more to what is best for each dip. Would prob go back for drinks at the bar and a little snack if I'm in the neighborhood and in need of a beautiful place to go in a pinch. Came here for a girls' night! We loved the interior and it wasn't too loud so we got to catch up easily (even though there was a birthday right next to us). The waiter explained to us that the food is mainly tapas with a few main dishes. We got the spanish fries, artichokes, lebanese tacos, salmon tartare, and the paella. My personal fave was the lebanese tacos - it had so many toppings and you can choose between falafel and chicken. The spanish fries were a little hard to eat but still had great flavor! Came on a Saturday night with a buddy. Originally an 8pm ressie, but we were running late, and they were super cool in accommodating us. Host Apollo was great, manager Amy was great, and our servers Christy and Thaddeus were great. They all couldn't have been any nicer, seriously. We brought our own bottle of wine (my buddy is visiting from Vancouver, he was kind enough to bring a bottle as a gift), and the corkage fee of $45 was very fair (I think it's normally $50, which I feel has now become almost standard at nicer NYC restaurants). We had the crispy artichoke, the eggplant carpaccio, and the salmon tartare as appetizers, and then we had the octopus, the Lebanese tacos (chicken) and huge salad for our entrees. (Yes, we were hungry - given how much we ordered, we probably could've fed at least 3). We were offered (and we gladly accepted) specialty shots that were on the house. All in was about $225 -- we left a decent tip, but I felt it was very well deserved. Reyna has a great vibe going for it (I loved the lighting), the place was busy, with lots of groups and also two-tops with friends and couples. The bar is big too. Overall, a thumbs up. read more

I recently went to Reyna New York for dinner for part 2 of my birthday celebration. From beginning to end, my friends and I had the BEST time. First, the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. The aesthetics are givingggg. Secondly, the service was top tier. Excellent all the way around, they made me so glad I chose to celebrate here. Our server was JJ- who was beyond amazing our entire time there and we never felt rushed. Even customized my birthday song and provided a birthday card signed by the staff, including the Chef (thank you all so much!) And last but not least the Food & Drinks! All 10/10. I had the King's Concubine and another cocktail (i can't recall the name) but both drinks were well made and pretty! For food, I ordered the oysters, watermelon salad, greek fries and tacos - ahhhh-mazing! Everything was so delicious and satisfying. I will definitely return and highly recommend Reyna! read more

Manchego & cauliflower croquettes were the best we have had - and the best thing we had at Reyna's. Next we tried Lebanese tacos. They were pretty good but sauce drowned out the lebanese spices. We booked a last minute Easter brunch here and found the restaurant to be mostly empty, which was great because we were able to linger and chat for hours without feeling rushed. The service could not have been better- this is a new restaurant and they are definitely aiming to please and impress. The server showed us pictures of all the items we were interested in and spent a long time explaining each item. The decor is very feminine and chic - the perfect spot for a girl's brunch. The dishes took a bit longer than expected to come out, but that didn't bother us as we were having a relaxed brunch and they were very apologetic. I had the Shakshuka which was good; not mind blowing and unforgettable, but good. My friend asked for 1/2 salad and 1/2 fries with her croque madame and the server said he'd just give her a side order of fries but she was then charged for the fries ($12). No big deal because we weren't charged for two of our coffees and were given a free shot, so we let it go. I'd definitely come back and try Reyna again. They are new and still working out kinks, but the friendly service and laid back vibe make it worth giving a chance. Tip: It was a bit hard to find as they need better signage. I found myself walking up and down the street trying to find the number of the restaurant, and I know my friends got lost too. The hostess, well, when you walk into an empty restaurant at 5pm and the say do you have reservations and you say no and then they proceed to ask you if you could be out by 6:30, well, maybe it's just me, but it comes off rude. And to be honest, I can't believe there are many reservations to this restaurant. The experience in general was terrible. And I'm pretty known for picking good restaurants, so the wife was pretty disappointed in me. I'll share the dishes we had. The best dish we had was the corn and I've had better corn of that style from "the calm" restaurant. Also, not a big fan of the interior. Personal choice. Give me a thumbs up if you agree. read more
