I call this my little hole on the wall down the street from my house. I love their breakfast. I like it to keep it simple with eggs bacon pancakes potatoes and I'm good. It's really affordable and they are really fast great service. I've taken some friends here after a walk on the trail and hike. No one has ever set up a new table for us but they did, which earned them a five stars in our book. We went for breakfast on a Saturday and the place was pretty packed, so we were told to wait by the door. I went to the restroom and then all of the sudden when I came back my husband was seated by the door because they set up a new table for us so we didn't have to wait longer. As for the food, I ordered the pozole which was very tasty, with great and fresh veggies on the side. Plus they give you tortilla chips with free refills. This place never disappoints, we always get the chilaquiles, they have 3 spice levels and the spicy is damn spicy! Very delicious, they have omelet's, burgers, pancakes, Mexican and American breakfast. The servers are so welcoming and friendly! I love their rice, it's so fluffy, they have stuffed French toasts! The food is spot on. I am very picky about menudo, mainly because most people don't clean the tripe the right way. This one is good. There are no pools of fat in your bowl lime other places. I finally found a place where I can get good menudo. My wife had the stuffed French toast plate and loved it. And yes I snuck a taste and it was good. Service seems to be one lady running the show and she was like the Eveready Battery. She was non stop and fast. You get your food pretty quick in this place. Veggie Omelette ($8.99): came with choice of toast (english muffin, wheat, white, sour dough) and potatoes (hash brown or diced). It had onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. I love my veggies, but it's an overall OK omelette that I could make at home or find elsewhere. They gave me 2 buttered wheat toasts. I wish I knew they'd butter it. What if I didn't want butter? The hash browns were good. The portion was decent, but arguably small for those with larger appetites. Cinnamon Sticks (6): Pretty good! I really liked the crispiness. It came with whipped cream and caramel drizzle. --SERVICE-- Decent. They gave us chips and salsa before our meals arrived, too. The food came out super quick. I ordered the Fluff and eggs breakfast which is a stuffed French toast with strawberry cream cheese and topped with strawberries and whipped cream along with egg whites and bacon and sausage. No negative feedback from me, they have hit flavor on all my visits and their service is great. Since we went during a weekday it was less packed compared to a weekend. It's kind of an interesting layout and that's always fun. There's a sign up front instructing you to enter to the side, but I ignored it and was a little baffled upon entry through the front door. That kind of made it fun. Ordered everything to go: Chilaquiles and taquitos. I was asked if I wanted my chilaquiles spicy and I said sure. I'd probably order them the not so spicy way next time, as they really packed a punch. The guac that came from the side of taquitos totally surprised me. It wasn't that typical bland stuff that you get at most restaurants. This was chunky and substantial. I would've liked more than a couple of tablespoons worth. Overall, nice little joint. Barely got waited on. Others whose order was taken after mine got their food first. I was the only table that did not get chips and salsa. She was busy refilling coffee cups and bringing other people things. But I wasn't worth chips and salsa. The food was so-so. Nothing spectacular. She seemed to get annoyed when I asked for salsa. I'm a stickler for authentic, maybe because I get authentic from mama Chuy, so when I asked if the chicharrones had meat, and they said "no, it's only skin", they lost that star. The food IS delicious, the portions are generous, and the place is first responder friendly. The building is an old warehouse and the decor is nice. It's not cheap, but it's not too pricey either. I guess if you take everything into consideration, it's a nice family friendly affordable hole in the wall where you won't regret having breakfast. Stopped by this little hole in the wall for a quick brunch with my girlfriend the other day. It's a bit hard to find, and looks like its nestled between various auto shops. Upon entering, it has a mom and pop family restaurant type of vibe. The tables are pretty small, and my friend and I were a bit cramped in our corner table. We both came here starving, but it seemed like the portions weren't as big as we had anticipated. I ordered the sausage and cheese omelette, and she ordered the vegetable omelette. Both of our omelettes and hash browns came out very oily and flattened from the grill. After tasting them, I could tell they weren't freshly cooked, and I've definitely tried better. We came in on my sister recommendation. It's definitely a Mom-Pop family style restaurant which we like to support with our business. I was meeting two of my sisters, when I arrived they were already seated and we notice that place is kept clean and the background music was not that loud. The menu has tons of breakfast choices Wow! They have daily specials which is a bonus because I wouldn't had ever tried the Chile Verde Omelette, if it was not feature in the daily special meal. My sister and I ordered the Chile Verde Omelette, combination it comes with rice and beans, ordered a side ordered of sour cream it was all that I expected and more. Also, my other sister ordered the Chilaquiles with Chicharon sauce with rice and beans, Honestly, wished I ordered that instead.
