A very nice restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere. Food was delicious and service was A+. Haven't been disappointed with any RH location yet.

The facade of the building has a luxurious architectural design true to the RH brand. The ambience of the rooftop restaurant is simply gorgeous as you dine surrounded by chandeliers and olive trees. The lobster roll was lightly seasoned with butter and served with a toasted brioche bread. It was rather on the small side considering the price. The steak was prepared medium, and we paid extra for truffle fries which was well worth it! The rose spritz was light and refreshing. This is a restaurant you want to go to when celebrating a special occasion or birthday since it is quite on the pricier side.

I had a wonderful time here! To say anything else would be an understatement. The waiter was patient, respectful, attentive and friendly. They were able to recommend great appetizers & entrees. I had a great time here. I loved everything i ordered! Will be back. I also ordered truffle fries 10/10 ! & the Crispy Artichoke 6.5/7/10 (not pictured)

RH never fails me! FOOD: The food at RH is classic and elegant. I was pleasantly surprised to find a king crab roll had been add to the menu. It is new and something we had not seen at other locations. And boy was it delicious. The bun was lightly toasted...a slight crunch but still easy to bite into. The crab was fresh. The light coat of mayo and Old Bay were the perfect touches. I can't wait to eat this again! AMBIANCE: RH is pretty much the King of ambiance. You can not beat the decor here. Every location we have been to sticks to the core RH design while adding its own unique flair. This location has a beautiful staircase leading up to the rooftop! SERVICE: Our sever was nice and patient with our kids. Overall, will I be back? Oh yes, this is one of my goto stops in Marin. The perfect way to top off a day of shopping! :)

This place was absolutely beautiful! My husband took me here for my birthday dinner and we enjoyed it so much! The service was outstanding! Each and every staff gave such a warm and inviting atmosphere and were all super attentive! We started off with the Hamachi Caviar Carpaccio and the Classic Caesar. We also got the Charred Wagyu Ribeye, Truffle Fries, and Grilled Broccolini. The Hamachi Caviar Carpaccio was our favorite! To end the night, they gave me a Butterscotch Creme Brûlée for my birthday. I'm not a Butterscotch person but I devoured it! It was delicious!! What a great place for a celebration!

Really beautiful location and decor; we got seated right by the window on a beautiful day, too! Service was really slow - our waiter didn't come take our order for 10-15 min and it took effort to flag him down. Our food also didn't come out for a good 30-35 minutes. However - when our food did come, we truly enjoyed the mini lobster rolls and mini crab rolls. The prosciutto and delice board was great too (loved the cheese, and the baguette came pre cut and warm!). We both had the French dip sandwich, and that was very hearty. The truffle fries weren't the best I've had; they came out a bit soggy. The broccolini was fine, but didn't stand out. The desserts we had - the strawberries and cream, as well as the banana split, both were incredible! We truly had a great time.

Very elegant ambiance but great spot for an elevated date night. The food wasn't all that for the price and the portions weren't great either. Definitely very mediocre in that regard. But excellent service! It definitely a place to try and see how you like it yourself

Restoration Hardware Restaurants are always beautiful and I've been dining in them wherever I go-- from SF to NYC, walking into their restaurants is a feast for the eyes as well as your tummy ! Although a bit pricey, it's worth dining at this stylish venue for that special occasion! I've been to all three in the SF Bay Area as a regular-- San Francisco, Napa and Corte Madera! Each has its own unique character. The Marin restaurant is located on top floor . Towering olive trees adds to the tall heights, lush greenery in boxes , glistening chandeliers enhances elegance and flowing fountains in its interior makes one feel as if you are dining in a conservatory. My go to at this location: Seafood Tower to share 5 stars loaded with oysters prawns, lobster and other marine goodies! So good and fresh 5 stars Artichoke chips - crispy and delicious, this comes with yummy dip 5 stars -- must have Truffle fries - another winner 4 1/3 stars Burrata- creamy and fresh, served with bright roasted tomatoes 4 1/2 stars Caesars Salad- 4 stars Chinese Chicken Salad 4 1/2stars Entrees Burger- awwww man! 4 1/2 stars Steaks-- Filet Mignon and Rib Eye Wow Wow! 4 1/2 stars Lobster Roll - 4 1/3 stars Roast Chicken - moist and delish 4 stars SIDES I get: Broccolini Mushrooms DRNKS Peach Bellini and anything with St Germain! Yummy!

Brunch before shopping is always a good idea, especially when the food is delicious. I ordered the Italian eggs benedict, which was a great wist to a regular breakfast staple. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the prosciutto gave each bite a salty but sweet compliment too. The potatoes were a side dish we opted in to add, but given the size of the eggs and the starter we had, we could have done without. Our server was also very attentive, and checked in throughout our meal. He also let us know that since it was a quieter Sunday morning we could hang out a little more after our meal.

Want special dining experience on the roof then think RH rooftop. Tonight we had the opportunity of sitting next to the fountain in the center which gave us the feeling of being near a bubbling brook. RH has a great chandelier above the great staircase leading to the restaurant (elevator also available). RH gives you the feeling of being outside with lots of glass and a 270 degree view. When weather is good, they sometimes open the north window wall to really make you feel outside. Grilled Avocado with caviar -- excellent appetizer that we first had at their restaurant in San Francisco. Prosciutto and delice board -- a standard Italian presentation. Fun for something different and a way to nibble on snacks. Shave ribeye sandwich and fries -- I saw this on a neighboring table and had to try it. Lots of meat. I normally don't think of a sandwich at a nice restaurant but pleasantly entertained the thought and execution. Our server was wavelength and made the early evening special. Want something special, give them a try.

Came here to celebrate a birthday. The ambiance is beautiful and really sets the mood, and the food was delicious. Service could use a bit of improvement. Maybe check up on us after a few bites? Idk.. They also didn't offer a complimentary birthday dessert (at least not in our case), but overall it's still a great spot for a perfect date night. The banana split is a must!

Made a reservation but walked in early on a Friday night and was seated right away. Service was phenomenal and I'd love to come back! Really enjoyed the prosciutto board and shrimp & vegetable salad. I also ordered the petite baked potato but didn't register the "petite" part so was very surprised when a tiny baked potato arrived at the table but it was still delicious haha. The lobster roll was okay but the warm cookie for dessert was super yummy! A great way to finish the meal. The interior decor creates a wonderful ambiance as well.

Here's a no-brainer, views of Mt. Tam, high quality-minimalist menu, top-notch product. Nice wine list, excellent service, beautiful setting, killer ambience, should I say more? There's plenty of free parking at this Marin County highly stylized mall. The RH facility is very impressive and freestanding in the parking lot and you will witness a wonderful display of stunning home furnishings on your way to the rooftop restaurant. My wife had the SHAVED RIBEYE ON CHARRED GARLIC BREAD, Emmentaler Swiss, Cherry Peppers, with Au Jus. I've heard it referred to as the best French dip ever consumed. My dietary needs are a bit limited, but I enjoyed the CHARRED HEIRLOOM BROCCOLINI with Lemon, Garlic Confit, Calabrian Chili, and some wonderful french fries with aïoli. A wonderful Lioco Pinot Noir complimented my meal nicely. The Village in Corte Madera features top retailers to include Apple, Verizon, Williams Sonoma, Anthropology, Johnny Was, to name a few. And, of course, Nordstrom (which is the main anchor to this facility) with a wonderful assortment of high-quality merchandise and top name-brand representation featuring men's and women's footwear. Heck, there are a few showrooms of electric car brands at the Village Marin. What a welcome reprieve from the deteriorating big city retailing landscape, and so nearby! Just about 10 minutes past the Golden Gate Bridge north. Park and shop and have a wonderful dining experience at RH. The hippest thing is that there's no advertising or signage that states there's this rooftop restaurant here, you kinda have to know- and now you do! Update : return visit had a great experience again. I want to call special attention to our server, who was very gracious, kind, and efficient. Two or three sips into my lovely glass of Pinot Gris I reached for the top-heavy glass, and I broke it on the nice marble table. Without hesitation, she came and cleaned it up and brought me a complimentary refill, a totally professional move. Thank you.

Ask the Community - RH Rooftop Restaurant at RH Marin

If it's a birthday do they do anything special?

They gave us a large chocolate chip cookie with a candle.

How much should I be spending for two people including deserts drinks and appetizers and food? (No alcohol)?

This is really hard to answer. Are you drinking call brands or premium liquor? The food is delicious but not inexpensive. Did you look at the menu? I would expect to spend about $100 per person.

Do we just go up the stairs or take the elevator to get into the restaurant?

Both get you to your dining destination. I like the stairs - pretty stairway.

Are you able to accommodate gluten free?

I believe they have a gluten free pasta.

    Do they have happy hour?

No they don't, the restaurant faces west so sunsets are nice on the outside patios

Do they have highchairs for toddlers?

    Yes

Is the outdoor area dog friendly?

No. You’ll have to get your pet a sitter before coming here.

Is there parking or it's only street parking?

it's in the middle of a parking lot for a shopping mall. You can park anywhere.

Is there a dress code, Can I wear a hat?

    No dress code, hat yes.

Do they have any vegan options?

Yes and they're willing to work with you to modify existing dishes as long as you're not too demanding. :)

Do they accept any type of debit/credit card for payment? Cuz some places specify which credit cards they accept

All forms of credit card payments are accepted.

Thinking of coming here during Fleet Week. Are there views of the bay from the rooftop and do you think we could see the Blue Angels air show from there?

Not sure about the show but I'm sure you'll see a great show of some sort. The view is grand

Is there AC on the rooftop?

    Yes there is,

    Do I need a reservation?

Yes, unless you want to wait hours or be rejected. The first time we tried to come and eat after…

    Valet parking available?

    No valet

May I know how much you charge for corkage fee?

    I bet it's $20.00

They do not. Their maximum reservation size is a party of six.

Is there outdoor dining? Rooftop? Ground level?

Outdoor dining is available on the top floor.

Where is the site to make reservations?

It's via OpenTable. You can search it via Google or their website. Not sure if this link will work…

Do they take reservations for a large party of 15?

    No. 6 or fewer.

It took almost 10 minutes after we arrived for someone to greet us- not sure why. However we were seated outdoors as we requested which was appreciated. The decor is bright with gorgeous colored tiles. The menu looked terrific, however we weren't provided the special vegan menu without asking for it. Wow, we were impressed with the dishes listed. We started with the chips & salsas- the chips were just as I like them; thin, crispy with salt. My sister had the vegan enchiladas and her husband the vegan pozole which he raved about. My son had the trio of carnitas tacos and was quite satisfied. I thoroughly enjoyed the veggie (not vegan as I love my queso) chile rellenos - they were divine. The sauce was perfectly flavored. We shared the churros for dessert- a bit disappointed as they were not crispy & a bit doughy on the inside. Our server was friendly and the prices were reasonable. It's inside a mall, and I did not see any directories to point the way. Once we found it and sat down, I noticed the sign telling us to scan the QR code on the table to order. Honestly, that almost sent me right back out the door. I wanted an actual menu, not a tiny phone screen with lots of scrolling and submenus, especially since I had questions about the food. The atmosphere felt a bit impersonal at first, mostly because of the mall setting and the QR-code ordering system, but the friendly staff helped make it feel much more comfortable once we got settled. The two people working the front were both very pleasant, answered my questions, and made the whole experience feel much more welcoming. They had a decent IPA selection and a variety of bar foods (pizza, wings, appetizers). We ordered the arancini, fried cauliflower, and a pizza. The fried cauliflower was the surprise hit for me, especially with the garlic aioli. The arancini and pizza were also very good. The QR ordering setup still feels more frustrating than inviting, but the friendly service and surprisingly good food turned things around. In the end, I left glad that I stayed.

Mr. Dills always said that the first thing he did when entering a restaurant was use the restroom. If it was a mess he'd leave; the state of the bathroom, he argued, accurately reflected the state of the kitchen. Elmer Dills would have walked out of The Cheesecake Factory. On the evening of my visit, which began on a Friday around 5:40 p.m., I entered the women's restroom to what can only be described as an enormous mess. Trash receptacles were overflowing and each restroom had toilet paper and paper towels strewn all over the floors. If I wasn't meeting a friend here - who'd suggested the place - I'd have left. When I emerged I wanted to alert someone to the state of things. Not only was there nobody manning a host/hostess station, but there was nobody to greet guests or seat guests. When my friend arrived, we made our way into the bar area and as we did, I flagged down a server to tell him of the status of the women's restroom. At our table, we had to again flag down someone to take our order. A different person subsequently became our server and things were smoother from there on. Before leaving though, I again used the women's restroom only to find that it was still an utter mess. The food and drinks that arrived at my table were fine but the service levels and restroom cleanliness here render that observation moot. I recognize that The Cheesecake Factory is no longer in its heyday but based on this visit I'd surmise that they're close to expiration.

When asked which Fieldwork was being served it is too nuanced to simply reply, " It's a hazy, they all are". The great outdoor seating, and stunning redwood trees are a major draw. ***Please note this review is from quite some time ago, but I've been back several times. I do dig it. You can't ask for a better relaxing scene and when there's a hot sporting event on, you can watch it outside on one of the monitors beneath the redwood trees. The setting and the service is top-notch.

For me, a nice eggplant pizza and the chicken dinner for my wife which is a house favorite since they first opened. My favorite cocktail, the ADMIRAL and a beautiful, tasty nonalcoholic cocktail for my wife. Simply superb! The remodeled outdoor patio is really something to behold- it's a beautiful cozy setting, especially on a warm evening. For several years now this has been just about my favorite spot to go to in the bay area and certainly my number one Marin spot! Sometimes just to sit at the bar and have a nice exquisite craft cocktail is a complete joy. Or, if you only want a pizza, this is the best place to do it as the wood-fired pizzas are second to none and who doesn't want some pizza and good beer? With a price that's not out of line in comparison to the region. Check out the private dining area which can be shut off and secluded which is great for meetings, birthdays, bar mitzvahs, or graduation events. Oh, and let's not forget the succulent desserts. Be sure to take a stroll before or after dinner, and check out the captivating retailers at this charming shopping area known as the Marin Country Mart. There are even freestanding retailers in the various parking areas. Most assuredly, a good place to spend an afternoon or evening. ***Please note that I'm in two areas frequently southern California and Northern California. So I post my favorites in both spots.

Lots of seating inside as well as outside. It was a nice day but a little too warm so we opted to sit inside. You have to order at the counter/register before you find your seat. We ordered the falafel salad and the poke tacos to share. Completely forgot to take photos which is not like me but both were really good. Salad was a big portion, came with lettuce, beets, chickpeas, avocado, tomatoes, cucumber, quinoa, feta, hummus, the falafel of course and a tahini dressing. Super refreshing. I'd order it again. Everything paired well together. The poke tacos order came with 3. The spicy mayo was a nice touch. Again, would order this again. For our drinks, i ordered a Paloma and my friend got a margarita. Drinks were refreshing. Not that strong but still good. Even though you have to order up front, they have someone coming to clean the tables and he even came while we were still sitting down, which was nice. Staff was friendly and pleasant! Will definitely be coming back to try other things. They have a lot of things to choose from, plenty of drinks (both alcoholic and non), as well as desserts! Can't believe I work so close and am only getting to this spot now. Check them out if you can!
