I ordered Special Combo plate from the special list that includes Beef Rib, BBQ chicken, 1/2 Hot Links and Tri Tip. Everything in the plate was good accept for the Beef Ribs. I was in the area and was looking for dinner. I was in the mood for bbq and narrow a couple of choices down. I ended up calling here and was looking at another locations menu. Doh! The lady who picked up the phone was nice even though I left her confuse. In the end, I got my order through and figure out what I done! Service was a huge A+! Order was ready and waiting when I got there. I was able to park on the street. First thing I did was spread the melted butter on the corn bread muffin and stuff it in my mouth! Omg! The corn bread was delicious! Texture and taste was great! For the combo meals, you have a choice between corn bread or garlic bread! I would pick corn bread all the time. Beef ribs were big and lots of meats on the bone. I even let my dog feast on the bone! She was a happy camper! Tri tip were okay. It has a nice bbq sauce on it. I ended up ordering Mac and cheese and thought it was okay. I did like the mashed potatoes. It was creamy and topped with gravy. I like the extra bit of potatoes in it. I only write a review if I'm super impressed or if I feel like I got ripped off. This is one of those reviews where I definitely got ripped off. Places like this should be ashamed of themselves. I have had my own smoker for over 20 years and taught 2 of my brothers how to cook on their own smokers. I don't think anything compares to doing it yourself, but I still appreciate trying local BBQ places wherever I may be. This is the first time I've ever felt ripped off and disgusted by one of those places. I spent 60$ on a full rack of baby back ribs, a pineapple bacon sausage, baked beans, Mac and cheese, mashed potato's, and cornbread. I tried the sausage first. It was supposed to be pineapple/ bacon. There was nothing pineapple bacon about it. It was nothing more than a hillshire farm sausage, butterflied and slathered with ketchup. Or maybe that was their attempt at barbecue sauce. Disgusting! The cornbread was dry, and the edges were hard as a rock. If you're a restaurant and can't even get the Jiffy box directions right, you shouldn't be a restaurant. The potatoes are instant, that's right, straight out of the box - just add water. The gravy seemed concentrated though, I think they forgot to add water. The Mac and cheese wasn't very cheesy, more like cheese flavored macaroni! It was crumbly, no two noodles were stuck together. They tried to make this in house. F for effort! Just make a box of the kids Kraft, it's cheaper, and it'll taste better. Beans, straight from the can Baby back ribs - TRASH- these ribs were absolutely terrible. If you're looking for slow cooked, smoked, fall off the bones ribs, with good flavor and sauce. This is not the place. Ribs didn't have any flavor to them, I don't think they add dry rub, just straight up meat flavored with no sauce. They do give you extra ketchup on the side though. They had a little snap to them and next time you should remove the membrane. STOP STEALING FROM PEOPLE! read more

The dining room had a really attentive and friendly hostess named Cynthia who was really on spot and attentive and really took care of us. Its good to see full service wait staff again. The true testament to a barbecue is the mysterious "beef rib". Often imitated, rarely originated. Ribs USA is an inspiration to the beef rib. At first glance I was not all that impressed. But once I think my teeth into it, I was convinced. And at the end of the day, I was full and satisfied. Now when it comes to a beef rib I don't expect to see much of a smoke ring or a nice crust. But in this case, ribs USA was able to achieve both. The rib tips were also well done with a decent amount of smoke, fat, and flavor. And the barbecue sauce is something to write home to. The barbecue chicken was also still moist and delicious without being undercooked. In fact it was cooked perfectly and seasoned artfully. I've been here many times before and I'll keep coming back. This is one of the few barbecue places that's not a chain that can hold its own. I can't recommend any of the sides because I've never had any. Because why would you ever mix sides with great bbq. I was nearby and found this place on google. I came in after 11am and the lady was shocked to see me walk in. I asked "are you open?," she looked at the clock and realize it was after 11am (according to the website, they open at 11am), so she said "I guess so." I ordered the lunch special - Hungry Meal which you pick 4 items. $13 + tax = $14.34 The food came out in 1-2 minutes, however, it taste like leftover food. It wasn't hot, it was barely Luke warm and more on the cold side. I ate some, but it just was not enjoyable. When I saw the lady pass by, I asked her if she could heat up my food since I am used to food being hot and this was barely luke warm. She was nice, and said I will ask them to remake it. (Hence, the two star) In about 5-8 minutes, she brought out a new plate. It tasted hotter, better then the last one, but still not like some of the rib places where you can taste it's freshly made. It still taste like heat up food that they put on the grill a few minutes. The pork rib was very dry. Shocker - while I was sitting here, a man came to out and asked me to move because I was sitting in a larger table. Let me say, there were only 2 parties came in after I came in. One was for 2 people and the other party was for 5. He said, some people would come in and if they don't see a large table available, they would leave. I thought that was the strangest thing to say since there were plenty of other tables including multiple large tables. I understand if they were busy and needed my table, they were not busy. The reason why I am giving it 3 stars is because they took a long time for someone to actually come out to our table to bring the food, then another 5 minutes for someone to bring the utensils so that we can actually start eating. Terrible customer service. My friend is a loyal customer and he invited us here. We waited a long time for our food, we were okay with it at first, but then, we had to return some food cause it was undercooked. We waited and waited, and they never brought it back to the table. We asked 3 people for the food, and no one could give us an answer. The lady "in charge" has a terrible attitude. Very rude. Not a people person for sure. The food here was disappointing on many levels. The burger was super greasy, falling off the bun, pretty flavorless and chewy like low-grade meat. I know this is a rib joint, but my friends were equally unhappy with their ribs. Also, the burger is served on its own, fries and a drink were extra despite an already overpriced cost. For a drink you get a "can I have a cup for water?" sized cup that requires you to walk up and self-serve across the room at a soda fountain. That would have been fine if the cups were large enough, but this clearly looked like a cost-saving measure. The service was also equally sparse, but friendly given that the place was empty. It felt like a pre-remodel Bar Rescue candidate. Also, the USA themed decorations felt expected given the name, but the "Full Brandon" menu item labels made me regret giving money to a maga supporter. The Food was very dry. The best thing I had were the salary sticks and carrots that came with the chicken wings. The coleslaw was pretty good. Everything else tasted like yesterday's food. Ticktock lied to me in this one. The BBQ sauce is good and the service was great but the food wasn't tasty at all. My bill was $74 bucks and not worth it. Ribs USA has a great vibe. But the food is relatively bland. No smoke flavor. No caramelization or bark. No color. Just soggy ribs made in an oven drenched in an okay sauce. There is no wood-fire in their cooking process. It's a shame. Wood-smoke is what makes BBQ what it is. Without smoke from wood, it's just ribs. It's fine, but it's not true BBQ. Their beef ribs are also beef back ribs, which have barely any meat. When eating BBQ, you want beef short ribs, sometimes called plate ribs. Ordered online 5 dishes on Father's Day. 1 was half chicken and another had baby back ribs in it. Email said order would be ready in 50 mins. When I arrived after that time no one was working the front. When Juan finally came out he said there were no baby back ribs and no chicken on the bone and I had to pick alternatives. Why didn't they call me immediately after they received the order??? After changing my order to something we didn't really want we were told it'd be 10 more mins. That turned into 30. When I asked for a credit, they told me all of a sudden they had baby back ribs available. Lizbeth wanted to give me store credit for the chicken. I wanted money back on my card (as I don't intend to ever go back). She would not refund any amount. She and Juan commented that the new meal I was getting cost more ($3)...I didn't even want that meal so it costing more is irrelevant! There was no attempt to provide good customer service for my meal taking 45 mins longer to prepare. To top it off, when my son went to eat his double patty burger there was only 1 patty...we paid $6.99 extra for a 2nd patty. I want my money back, not credit for a future order. I also ordered a pulled bbq chicken sandwich and the chicken didn't have no flavor and it barely had any bbq sauce on it. I called multiple times and nobody answered. When I finally got to speak to someone I was told they're closed already and the manager is not there, then someone else got on the line and told me they're not closed until 7pm and that the manager is there but is in the kitchen and can't speak to me so there's no way to speak to a manager; only via email, when I requested the email they hung up on me. I called back and my call kept getting ignored for 30 minutes straight all because I asked to speak to a manager. I would not recommend this place at all ! Got gorilla fries thought they may be big fries because no description (my bad) nope fake cheese covering fries cooked in old oil, rib tips with covered with 3% bbq sauce and 85% fat and two corn cobs which I'm satisfied with. I paid $22 bucks for corn. 11 dollar each. The fries went in the trash and the meat was picked as best i could thankfully I had my own bbq sauce. Knew I should have just ordered a pizza. My wife and I have been going to Ribs U.S.A. since the mid 90s. It's always been our "go-to" BBQ restaurant in Los Angeles. Last night we ordered in and when I went to pick the order up, the ribs were in a large tin container so I couldn't open them easily to see them. When we got home we were both shocked how bad these Beef Ribs looked. There was NO meat on the bones. All of the meat was separated or hanging on to cartilage that separated and overcooked. We ended up throwing out half of them. I order a small Baked Beans and they were horrible also. They were hard and undercooked. How do you mess up Baked Beans? Unfortunately, my wife and I feel we've lost another great restaurant in the Burbank area. We won't be going back. read more
