The best quality happy hour sushi! You can't beat $5-6 rolls! Ordered a few rolls off the happy hour menu and me and my daughter were so content. We were seated upon arrival and food came out quickly! I highly recommend coming to Sushi Alive for the amazing happy hour specials! Also get the volcano topping it's my favorite and so worth it to top one of the happy hour rolls!

    Lobster roll is amazing

This place used to be so good but food has gone seriously down in quality. Sushi and sushi bowls were all very bland. Had a volcano roll and rainbow roll which all tasted bland. We also had a sushi bowl with either salmon or tuna. We chose salmon and asked if they could do half tuna, half salmon. We were told no and would have to order an additional full side order of tuna. When it came, it didn't have much seaweed salad so asked if we could have a little more and again told no, we had to order a full seaweed side for an additional $11. Seriously? Bowl was just like the sushi. A bunch a mayonnaise but not much sauce and all tasted bland. They even took away their rewards program. Atmosphere is starting to feel more like a sports bar than a sushi place. The lobster roll was amazing and the only good thing left. Too bad because we live a mile away in Nine Eagles but will only go back for the lobster roll. I use to go there every week, but last few weeks have been so bad, for the price, there are better options a few minutes away.

    Eel Roll* and California roll

Came here for a takeout lunch. I got the eel roll and the California roll with miso soup. I loved the soup. The big chunks of tofu are my favorite. The sushi rolls were average. They fall apart easily and the rice was not the best but it was a good lunch deal. I also got the noodle dish and it was very bland. I love the amount of veggies I got in the bowl but I wish it had more flavor and spice. Overall, this is a very average place and I'm not sure if I'll be back.

Sushi Alive has fresh sushi and has a great Happy Hour Menu Mon-Fri from 5PM-7PM. My favorites off of the sushi menu are the Gator Rolls, Mexican Rolls, and the Spicy Salmon Hand Roll. They also have 2 for 1 house wines.

I like the interior, location and our server was friendly but the sushi happy hour rolls, although tasty, were disappointingly small and not filling. The specialty rolls are pretty boring too--so many of them have krab delight & tempura shrimp. I used to love this place but it's not really worth it. I'd rather go somewhere with large unique rolls full of fish.

We eat here often and also order delivery regularly, and the quality is always consistent. Fresh fish, great-tasting rolls, and good portion sizes. Dine-in is always pleasant, and delivery is fast and well packaged.

Love this place excellent sushi options and taste . My favorite fried ice cream ever . Very cute clean place and atmosphere. It won't disappoint

Very nice atmosphere with a busy Nuevo vibe! The menu was expansive & offered lot more than sushi. However we stuck to the rolls and sashimi, and really were impressed with our selections. The happy hour options were a great deal of the traditional rolls like Japanese Bagel Roll, Mexican Roll, etc. We also ordered a few rolls from the signature roll menu. My favorite was the Yoshi Roll which was the perfect mix of tempura & salmon with thinly sliced lemon. The Bang Bang roll was yummy too. Also of note was the delicious miso soup. Our server was a doll & more than pleasant but service was extremely slow. Took over an hour to get our rolls. Not sure if the fault lied with our server or the chefs but the wait was excessive. Tough with two little ones to wait that long! If they could improve on that, I'd happily give this place 5 stars!

My all time favorite place for happy hour sushi! You just can't beat their prices (and quality for the price) at about $5 per roll. Our go to HH order is usually: Tampa, Florida, Philadelphia, Mexican, spicy tuna, and the tempura salmon rolls. For apps the stuffed mushrooms are amazing but this time we tried the tnt mussels and they did not disappoint. I also typically order the lollipop roll but this time my friend ordered the scorpion roll and it was amazing! Definitely better than the volcano fyi. They also have bogo wine and beer during HH, but you have to wait until after 8pm for the sake to be bogo. Service is always pretty decent consisting of mainly a younger waitstaff. The noise level is pretty loud but much to be expected with the dining room being a large open space. For a quieter dinner I would suggest sitting outside, and if it happens to be chili out you can always catch me at the fire pit! Great place.

I almost never write reviews on places, but I was so disappointed with my service at Temak House…read moreand want to warn others. I was initially going to get À la carte, but after seeing most rolls on the menu were upwards of more than $15, I decided the $35 lunch all you can eat to be more worth it. I noticed when I sat that my plate and soy sauce tray was dirty and had to be wiped out. We sat and ordered appetizers and waters right away, and once we got our drinks, we waited 30 minutes before we saw our server again. 30 minutes--no exaggeration. I asked another server to please grab our server so we could order, and he said he would take our order for us. Another 5 minutes passed and I asked a different server where our guy was. He informed us that our server had taken his lunch break, and someone else would see us shortly. No one else saw us shortly. We sat there, waiting to order food at an all you can eat restaurant for 40 minutes until our server was off his break. Additionally, every menu item you order would take anywhere from 10-15 minutes to come out. My friend and I had to order everything we wanted in one sitting, since we knew we wouldn't see our server again and the food would take forever. And because of this, we ended up sickening ourselves to try and avoid a $2 up-charge per piece of sushi not finished. The food was fine but nowhere near the $50 per person quality marker. We found a lot of the sushi rolls to be very bland. We asked for other sauces and a different server told us they only had spicy mayo or eel. Our server never told us his name, but my receipt says Juan. When I had any questions on recommendations from the menu, he seemed very unfamiliar with it and even asked to see it so he could remember what was on it. In the hour and a half my friend and I spent at the restaurant (mostly waiting for food or service), we saw Juan three times. One time when we got our drinks. One time to place an order for food. One time when I called out for a receipt. My friend and I went here at 4pm on a Sunday. There was only one other table with three people when we came, so the place was relatively empty. If it was a busy day, I would understand. We were two people in an empty restaurant. I can't even imagine what getting service might be like at a busy time of day. When I go out to eat, I do not expect my server to check on me every second. However when I am at all you can eat places and I have had empty plates sitting in front of me for 40 minutes, I get pretty frustrated. And the forced 20% gratuity at the end that was not mentioned whatsoever was the real cherry on top. Will never be returning and I have made it a point to tell others to never stop by.

For the beef and onion meal, one small scoop of rice for the beef they give you doesn't make sense. Could've at least filled up the spot that was left empty. Then the fries.... There are plenty of sushi spots around here, but none have really won me over... until tonight. I decided to try Faceless Samurai. I ordered the Chirashi -- a bowl of sushi rice topped with chef's choice sashimi. I was in heaven. The fish was incredibly fresh, each piece perfectly sized for a satisfying bite. The texture and flavor of the sushi rice were spot-on -- lightly seasoned and balanced, letting the fish shine. The service was excellent, but what stood out even more was the atmosphere. The place felt warm and joyful. People were laughing. A couple walked in and the chef/owner came out to shake hands and hug a regular. My server was kind and professional. It just felt good to eat there. They've officially gained a lifelong customer -- I usually eat sushi once a week when I'm not traveling. Go treat your taste buds. You won't be disappointed. P.S. I rarely give 5 stars. It's that good!

1.5 stars. An…read moreextremely disappointing meal. I don't know where to begin. Let's talk about the fish first. Low quality lean grainy tuna was served. It wasn't cut properly, and was a rigid rectangle on a ball of improperly cooked rice. The salmon was mediocre tasting, but also unevenly sliced. The two pieces of escolar (chef's choice, my foot - cheap is more like it) were butchered like Tetris pieces. Why does it look like a croissant - for the love of Pete! The salmon maki wasn't properly rolled and was falling apart and the fish was cut improperly. The pork Katsu was okay. The other table was served frozen sashimi. What a poor performance. Service was poor. The wait time - an hour and fifteen minutes was appalling given the lack of quality and poor presentation. Thankfully, my 9 year old son and I entertained ourselves during that time, but they never brought him out his California roll. I cancelled it after we finished the bento box, but come on, what the heck, how do you not make a cali roll and not serve it to a hungry child immediately. I haven't left a 15% tip in quite some time, post pandemic, but this was beyond the pale. 1/2 star for the ambiance. It had me fooled. I don't like seeing businesses fail, but this one needs to be put out of its misery.
