Just got off of a flight and wanted something quick and relatively Healthy to eat. Saw this pop up and realized that I had not been there before. They have been in business for about 10 months. The owner runs the counter and serves the food. Very nice and SUPER professional group of people. He came to the table to check on us numerous times and even asked how our experience was and if anything could be better. He noticed that I picked out the eggs in my Lo mein and asked I I would like another fresh one!! I did not but it was nice of him to ask. The sushi was amazing. I had a dragon roll that was super tasty. It went so fast I couldn't get a picture of it! The food is flavorful and the establishment is very clean! Also drink come with the hibachi! I've never eaten in the restaurant and have always ordered takeout. I have had hibachi steak and shrimp with fried rice, vegetables, salad and onion soup. The veggies in the salad are fresh and country and the soup is flavourful. The meal is reasonably priced and is cooked to order. I have been ordering the lunch special every week. The lady at the front is always pleasant and has gotten familiar with me since I'm there almost every week. It came with a nice size piece of salmon, fried rice, seasoned stirred-fried vegetables, and a ginger salad. It was nothing too special, but it's worth the price for all the food I received. The boyfriend wasn't hungry last night and I was ravished, so I opted to try this place through DoorDash as a new listing. I love steak hibachi, and was pleased to see they allowed me to let them know of my mushroom allergy. I ordered the steak medium rare, got a salmon avocado roll, and some fried gyoza (for the boyfriend that "wasn't hungry"). Our food arrived, and I found the hibachi bag had gotten covered in sauce and made it challenging as everything was sticky and messy. Getting around that, the store followed my instructions on mushroom allergy which was a relief. The ingredients were so saucy that it was a disaster to eat, but no shortage of liquid. The fried rice was very boring, solely egg. I was hoping they'd have maybe peas, carrots, or something else but nothing. Even some more soy could have done it justice. The steak seemed to be cooked right (based on texture, I couldn't see color and wasn't cutting it), but the pieces were very chewy and fatty which was disappointing for the $18 they charge for it. The boyfriend says his food was "average, nothing out of the ordinary but no notes." Overall, I probably wouldn't eat here again due to the meat quality alone. I've never turned down hibachi steak until yesterday. Not horrendous though, maybe I'll try the sushi next time if I do come back. read more

We were referred to this establishment by my parents since They know I am a huge hibachi fan. Wanted a quick lunch so while we were driving, we decided to place an order online. Ordering was extremely easy and our order was ready by the time we parked which was only about 10 minutes. We ordered the steamed gyoza and 2 chicken hibachi entrees. The portions were decent sized and we had enough for leftovers - but noodles do not come with it so we ordered a side of noodles. One downside is that they don't offer ginger sauce which is one of my favorite sauces to eat with hibachi :( I'd go back and try other menu items for sure! read more

Fuji... what happened!? My husband and I used to absolutely LOVE this place. It was our go-to for sushi and hibachi. They're always running a special on Doordash, the food is packed nicely, and there was never any mistakes with the order. We've also eaten inside and it's always been clean with friendly and prompt service. The food used to be DELICIOUS! Today my husband and I ordered off of DoorDash again, which like I said, we've NEVER had an issue with, but today... everything changed. My husband ordered 3 rolls, the same 3 he always gets, and they were made completely different with an overwhelming amount of crunch and very little fish. He also told me the fish tasted different, almost as if they're using a new distributor or a new brand. I always order the shrimp and steak hibachi, and have loved every last bite from the fried rice with egg to the hibachi vegetables. This time, my steak was completely under-seasoned and the actual cut of the steak of totally different from what they used to serve. The shrimp were fine. The veggies are now steamed instead of done on the grill, and they were raw. The fried rice no longer has egg and is very mushy and bland, seems to even be a different grain of rice. The service has never lacked for us, so I won't knock them for that: they're always very attentive and polite. But the FOOD! Why!? Please go back to the distributor or kitchen manager you guys had before! This meal was almost inedible! I was at Ollie's next door, got hungry, and came here on a whim right before the lunch rush started. I saw a group of police offers getting ready to go in, and usually, when a group of police officers goes to a restaurant together, it's probably going to be pretty good. I ordered the hibachi chicken lunch special and they had it out to me in about ten minutes. It was better than I expected. Sometimes you go to a shopping plaza Chinese or Japanese or whatever place with low expectations. You want to get full, for not a lot of money and are willing to settle for just about anything as long as it's cooked and doesn't smell weird. I went into Fuji with my expectations set to "Dumpster Fire" and walked out completely overwhelmed by how tasty it was. I think I paid a total of $8.13 for my meal, was completely stuffed, and didn't feel "heavy" later in the day (as I tend to do when I eat Chinese takeout). This place is hidden in a Walmart plaza way in the back, you'd never know it's there unless you were driving through. It doesn't look like it'd be much when you're on the outside, but when you go in, it's a nice, chic express sushi and hibachi place full of fresh food. I didn't order hibachi, but did order 4 different sushi rolls and some of the clear soup and salad. The sushi was incredibly fresh and the presentation was so cute. It's a great place for quick sushi and prices are beyond affordable. The only reason for 4 stars was because the salad was a little watery as if they had just rinsed it without it drying so it made the whole salad watery. And when we finished eating we ordered some food to go and they forgot one of our rolls. But I will definitely go back to try more of their rolls and the hibachi! Definitely give it a try! read more

This is my FAVORITE place right now! My husband and I order uber eats from here at LEAST once a week. Im a big fan of the nigiri (salmon,crab, and shrimp) Sooo good! I have only ordered from Uber Eats. I do order about once a week. Hibachi trio (chicken, shrimp and steak) is always good and a lot of food. Unfortunately, I thought it came with ginger salad or miso soup but it does not. And even when I select rare or medium rare and write in notes how I want my steak, it always comes medium or even medium well! It is also $5 more ordering on uber eats as they always provide a paper "menu" and it is so much cheaper if I eat there and different price on everything. Sushi is on the smaller side for the price, but always taste fresh. And again more expensive than eating there or even calling for take out. It was funny there was "specials on uber eats with money off" but when I looked at the normal price of the rolls from their menu it was the same price in the restaurant as the "discount price" on uber eats. I used to always get the Kani salad from here which was always delicious but the manager could be a bit more knowledgeable. I asked to pay him for sesame seed and was told they don't have any which was odd because several of their rolls have sesame seed. I called them right after dealing with the rude manager and the chef immediately said sesame seed is available. I don't get the point of this transaction with the manager but it didn't make me feel so good as a paying customer. I wanted to try more of their items but this definitely made turn the other way and not want to due to this manager which is a shame being a sushi lover that lives less then 2 minutes away this could've been a staple. read more

It is five stars for exactly what it says. I got the Alaska roll, the shrimp tempura roll, and the side of fried rice. It was not super busy and my rolls came out really fast and were very tasty. Not omakase tasting menu amazing, but very solid sushi rolls with fresh fish, avocado and cucumber with a thin layer of rice. Free sauces come with the rolls if asked and the service is friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend for a quick sushi dinner, and I will be coming back!!! read more

Disappointing experience after reading other reviews.. Placed an order online, it was easy and ready at the pick up time. The hibachi chicken and steak had no flavor at all. It wasn't seasoned at all and the steak was very tough and chewy. The salad was poor quality and the dressing was watery. The fried rice with the habchi was tasty, and the clear soup was good as well. The Tokyo roll tasted really fishy. Maybe the shrimp or crab was bad, but either way it was not good at all and tasted off. Also felt like the value was not good. Place needs to be shut down, food is rancid, Steak tastes alive, rice is school lunch level disgusting, chicken is unbearably over cooked and the soda machine is vile. I doubt they ever change or clean it out, the thing rumbles like crazy whenever you use it and all the sodas and drinks taste expired like throw out gas station drinks. Most likely has mold or some kinda bacteria growing in it. All n all place sucks, foods over priced and will most likely give food poisoning to some degree and they even charge for small take out boxes lol. Went there yesterday. The place was clean and had some funky fun lighting. We ordered 2 of the hibachi entrée meals, one with steak and shrimp and one with chicken and shrimp. We got enough food to easily make 4 meals. The food was delicious. The meat was tender, it had a good flavor, and the yum yum sauce was great. We also ordered some sushi. Gave this place a try today. I got the chicken hibachi and the Mexican roll and the miso soup. Not gonna lie, I thought this was a traditional sit down place. It's not for anyone who thinks like me. You order at the counter and take the number to a table if you're dining in. For take out they give you a buzzer. The food was pretty dang good. Pretty sure they use chicken breast and I'm not mad at all, it was still moist and not over cooked and dry like other places. The veggie mix was on point and was cooked well. Still had a lil bite but not mushy at all. Exactly how I like my veggies. The rice that comes with the hibachi does not have any veggies in it just egg. Very happy about that since I don't like veggies in my rice. The Mexican roll was very tasty. Good quality sushi in my opinion. Definitely gonna be my new spot for sushi. Everything was reasonably priced, and I'm also looking to save a dime so extra brownie points there. The actual place is very clean. The bathrooms are well maintained, and the sofa area where you can also grab utensils is very neat and the counters aren't sticky.
