I walked up to the bar and received my only negative customer service experience during my entire time at Sea Island. There wasn't an open seat at the bar so I went up to order, asking the bartender how he was. He quipped that he was too busy and I offered that I was sorry to be yet another order and he didn't crack a smile. My bloody mary was delicious, but my bar experience was pretty sour. My table was ready in 45 minutes. The lady who showed me to my seat also seemed to have a sour attitude (she wasn't at the hostess stand and wasn't my waitress so I have no idea where she came from). Since it was rainy, I ordered french onion soup and a glass of pinot noir. Both were good. I wish the french onion soup had a bit more flavor - it was missing something that I couldn't pinpoint. I split the burger with my husband and we both thought it was fine and definitely not as good as the one at Oak Room. All in all, it was an okay lunch. I'll order something different next time for sure.

We met our server who was polite and promised us some samples of shrimp (that we never got - but other tables did). Please note, the tables a located close together, so if the table beside you has a loud talker, you can feel like part of their convo. We opted for 2 shrimp dinners (16 shrimp with 2 sides and choice of bread or hush puppies - get the hush puppies). I opted to have my shrimp served fried and broiled with cocktail sauce.
