I had the Lobster Mac which was full of delicious lobster and Mac and cheese with white truffle oil that was noticeably delicious. It was on grilled sourdough which made my tummy so much more happier. Yes, I wish it had more lobster but who wouldn't say that. I could eat handfuls of this Mac and cheese. I could bathe in it. I think this truck isn't too bad. Granted it could be a LOT better. Decided to play it safe and just get the classic grilled cheese with tomato soup. The grilled cheese was pretty good, I liked the combination of cheese and how melty it is. However I wish they used sourdough instead of just white bread because it kept falling apart in my hands and was hard to hold and eat. My workplace is kind enough to bring various food trucks throughout the week and I gotta say, Richeeze is by far my favorite! I'm a huge grilled cheese fan, so it only makes sense ;) but they've got way more than just the classic grilled cheese on their menu. At first I had questioned the quality of their non-grilled cheese items, but each one that I've tried has left me feeling pleasantly surprised! The people running the truck are also quite cool from the experiences I've had with them. (Which is impressive considering how brutally hot it has been during the day, I can only imagine how hot it must be inside the truck) Overall, it's an easy 5/5 from me. This past weekend I attended the Pie Festival in Claremont, CA. My aunt and I tried the grilled cheese and macaroni cheese balls. Beware, they do not post prices on their menu! An average size grilled cheese costs $9. It was alright but definitely not worth $9 bucks! The macaroni and cheese balls were two for $6. Again, they were alright but not worth the price. This was my first experience with Richeeze and I certainly wouldn't waste my money if I came across them again. The vendor next door was selling two tamales for $5. This truck was at Angel Stadium. I love grilled cheeses and talked everyone into getting one. What a disappointment. I had the cheddar bacon. It was very thin with a lot of bacon but barely any cheese. The second half had no cheese. For the price I expected grilled Parmesan buttery bread and at least 3 cheeses. $55 for two grilled cheese, a coke, fries and tip, big rip off. The fries were also underdone and not salted. This truck was at a city event recently in Santa Clarita. It was the only truck that had grilled sandwiches and/or French fries so that's were my family unfortunately ended up. Both days of the event the truck showed up with no fries of any kind. The truck also advertised Mac n cheese bites which they did not have either. The sandwiches were just dripping in grease and lacking in any flavor. The $10+ sandwiches are worth $5 tops. The people working the truck did not care what so ever about the situation. They would not let patrons know what they were out of until they wasted their time in line and tried to place their orders. My experience at Richeeze today was TERRIBLE! My friend and I bought the Yelp voucher (pay $15 for $30 worth of food) and when we went to order our food, they said we couldn't order the Lobster Mac or the Yolo. This is the only reason we even bought the voucher to begin with. My biggest issue is that the Yelp voucher clearly states "Deal must be honored according to terms on voucher. No additional restrictions may be added at time of redemption." If the owner wants to put restrictions on what you can buy, then they should state that on the voucher! Unfortunately, the owner wasn't there when we were ordering. The cashier had to call him and he said if she was going to give the Lobster Mac or the Yolo as a part of the voucher, she would have to pay the rest out of her pocket. RIDICULOUS!!! We had the patty melt which was perfect onions were cooked just right and the bread was perfect. I met the owner and recommended he come to our movie studio. Fast forward they've made it to my studio now twice. Well idk what happened, but they went up 30% in prices and down 50% in quality. I ragged to my coworkers about how good this truck was and to my embarrassment it was just plain awful. My son was volunteering at a park to help place and adopt unwanted dogs and cats. He was getting his volunteer hours which are required by the high schools. Honestly, he liked working for free -he was loving it because he got to hang out with dogs and cats and even 3 tiny kittens. Who wouldn't love that?!? On the last day of getting volunteer hours he was sent to an outdoor park just off tapanga canyon. Apparently every year this park holds a huge adoption charity event and let me tell you something it is a big.Many vendors and shelters bring dogs so people can adopt them all you have to do is fill out the paperwork. At the end of my son shift he was pretty hungry and luckily there were lots of food trucks surrounding the park where he had been working. I offered to get them a bite before we drive home and he chose Richeeze food truck. He wanted lobster mac & cheese and I got a simple grilled cheese. It was a long line but it moved pretty fast and we got our food about 15 minutes later. As we walked to my car we were eating our sandwiches that were gooey and cheesy and pretty tasty.
