Once again, we brought our diesel pusher to Rincon Truck Center for its annual maintenance and safety inspection before another 3-month trip. During the safety inspection they found a few major items that needed to be fixed. They kept me appraised of the individual issues, what my options and what the costs were. They took the time to explain what was wrong and what the repairs meant as I am not mechanical. I highly recommend Rincon (repair technicians) and both Kevin and Tom are exceptional in their knowledge and customer service. I have called from Montana, Georgia, North Sydney (Nova Scotia, CA) and Sault Ste. My RV broke down about 20 miles away. Our airbags popped . I place a call to Kevin who is the service manager. He walked me through some options but then we determined that the airbags needed to be replaced. We took our unit to their shop and they installed new air bags and fixed an oil leak and looked over the engine to see if we had any issues. He noticed that we also had an emission recall. Kevin gave us an estimate to repair and 3 days later I picked up my RV. Kevin then took the time to show me what they fixed and answered all my questions. Older class A no longer serviced. Been using them for years but went to drop off my 2005 American coach for fluid change but was told by service mgr they will no longer service these older rigs. Seems odd as theet are authorized but you should double check with them first. Was talking with a neighbor with an 03 Country coach and same thing. read more

I recently took my Class A diesel pusher RV to this business for a bolt in the tire. They were quick to respond and fair with their price. I spoke to the staff in the office and in the shop. They get a 5-star from me. They were knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I asked them questions about the tires for this RV; equipped with Michelin 22.5 tires regarding tire wear and longevity. Also learned they service RV's and other commercial grade equipment i.e. Freightliner, Allison, Cummins - just to name a few. Bottom line: I got lucky with the bolt in the tire. It didn't puncture the tire, just stuck in the tread. But when I have a more drastic service done, I will review again. And if they do as well as I believe they will...then I will give them 5-stars for this business. Cheers! read more

Don't know what it is about San Clemente versus the rest of SoCal but they have the two best service facilities for RV's anywhere. First, Rincon is the "go to" for me and my Class "A" Entegra Cornerstone. A rare breed on the West Coast is an Entegra, Rincon was able to make professional repairs, most under warranty. They were professional and communicated well during the few days my coach was there and did excellent work. Kevin is superb! Rincon takes care of major chassis stuff for the most part. Just a few miles up Pico, tucked away in the San Clemente foothills, is another RV Repair gem: Rick's Trailer Supply. What Rincon doesn't do, Rick's does and does well. If you haven't been there, GO! Rick's takes care of all the "house" stuff from leaky faucets to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, just about anything else. They also will install Tow Systems on your coach and tow vehicle. Their shop is immaculate. By appointment only, your coach will not sit around while they work on other stuff. They jump on it almost immediately after you get there. Strenuously recommend these two places!! read more

I have been dealing with two major problems with my new 2021 Tiffin Motorhome since new almost. The tail lights, brake lights and hazard lights on the rear of the coach as well as the dash AC worked intermittently. This was a major issue and I was not able to drive it after dark many times due to this issue. I have taken it to two separate highly rated motorhome repair shops for this repair, and neither of them was able to fix it. The last one finally told me to take it to a freightliner authorized repair facility and they recommended Rincon Truck Center. I called them immediately and spoke with Kevin and he said no problem, he was quite sure he new what the problem was and to bring it on in and they could fix it ASAP. I took it over about a week later, since I live about an hour from San Clemente. I drove up, and the lady came out and did the paperwork and then the technician came out about 5 minutes later and fixed two problems within about 15 minutes. The problem was fixed and I was on my way back home. That was the quickest and best service I have ever been provided with this motorhome. Thank you Rincon Truck Center for making customer service priority number one. You guys are great! read more

Wish I could give Rincon 10 stars. Awesome customer service!! I had my 2013 Tiffin Motorhome at 2 different diesel repair shops and was given 2 different diagnosis for a DEF problem. After 2 outrageous estimates I called freightliner for more info. I was told what the codes were and was given 2 shops to go with. I spoke to Marlin in parts and he was great. We went over info from Freightliner and he ordered the correct part for a great price. He then transferred me to Lynn in service. Kevin was also very helpful with some questions I had. They are absolutely the worst and don't backup their work. If you have Cummins diesel pusher motorhome, take it to a Cummins Dealer. Broke down in the middle of know with same problem that I paid over $3,000. Ownership was unwilling to offer any kind of refund or credit after we incurred numerous expenses and inconvenience because of an improper repair. I had a mechanical that worked on my previous coach for years. When my usual didn't diagnose an exhaust issue I took it to Rincon. Kevin squeezed me in and quickly fixed the issue and got me on the road. Since then he has saved a couple of vacations and has the service has always been excellent and on time. I am a recent new owner of an RV on Freightliner chassis with Cummins Diesel. It was time to get my rig serviced before big trip and I had a hard time finding a facility that got decent reviews. For those of you in Southern California with diesel pushers (DPs), Rincon Truck in San Clemente does a very good job. Kevin over there is a very nice, honest, and helpful guy. He had helped me previously with my fan gear box issue (over the phone with no charge), and really took his time helping figure out what the coach needed (and didn't need). 08-30-2015 A recommendation from an RV dealership I made arrangements to bring my diesel RV in for "check engine" service. The problem was diagnosed quickly and efficiently along with some additional service requests. They are a busy facility an appointment is necessary. Okay, I just had probably the best customer service I have ever received from any automotive repair facility. If you have a Motorhome or any diesel vehicle this is where you have to take it! I recently bought a new motorhome and found there was an leak with the air suspension system. The manufacturer of the chassis referred me to Rincon Truck Center. We called on Monday explaining the situation and that we were planning on using it on Saturday for a camping trip. I fully expected to be told that I had to schedule an appointment and it would be a couple of weeks before they could help. Nope, I was told by Lynn to bring it right down. They identified the problem the next day, contacted the manufacturer and had the parts overnight-ed and my motorhome was ready for pickup on Friday. This kind of service is unheard of in the RV industry! Everyone was very friendly and the service manager, Kevin, took the time during deliver to explain some of the ins and outs to owning and operating a diesel motorhome. I can't explain enough how much I appreciate what Lynn and Kevin did for us and they will have a life long customer while I own my coach. I am no longer concerned where to take my coach when its time for service or repairs! read more

This is a great one stop service shop. I took my CLASS A motorhome for basic service, oil change for Cat and Oran generator only to find out they are also a Allison and Spartan authorized service shop as well. I thought I was going to have to find an Allison shop for my transmission after this stop and was I pleasantly surprised to find out they could take care changing the transmission fluids as well. Very Nice and extremely convenient. If you take your coach to Mike T's you will find they do not work on the Cat, Allison or Spartan Chassis other than oil change and filters for the CAT and your generator. I mean they will not touch the transmission or the chassis at all, either you or someone from Mike T's has to take your coach to the Allison and Spartan authorized service shop. And it they take it plan on being charged an additional $150 for delivery. This is based on my last experience of Mike T's 3 years ago, might have changed. They also offer a total mechanical and electrical inspection of the drive train, chassis, brakes and a few interior items for a couple hundred bucks, which is fairly reasonable. They don't do anything that is related to the creature comforts of a motorhome. You know, refrigerator, stoves, water related stuff etc. They focus on the electrical and mechanical stuff on the exterior. The staff is very friendly and helpful, Kevin and Lynne you guys are the best. And when they say you will have it back on so and so date, you will get it back. Not like Mike T's that tells you you'll get your coach back by the end of the week and it ends up being 3 weeks or more. My experience with MT's is they will always have your coach for no less than 3 weeks, no matter what has to be done, they actually had mine for 7 weeks once for minor stuff, oil change, new batteries and some filters. This is a great shop and one that you can depend on!!!! Customer for ever! read more

I took my motorhome in for repair servicing after experiencing an engine overheating problem on 07/24/18. It was returned to us 07/30/18, with assurance from Kevin at Rincon that the problem had been taken care of. Their total invoice was for $3,371.20. They had been servicing our motorhome that has a Cummins diesel engine for over 10 years. The very first time we took our motorhome out after the aforementioned work was completed, we had an overheating problem in the middle of no where causing us further repair expenses in excess of $4,400 as well as travel expenses to and from Oregon. We requested from Craig a refund of the $3,371.20 that was expended to fix the problem they weren't able to fix. Craig at Rincon refused to make any kind of adjustment with us, or refund. We are obviously taking our business elsewhere and would recommend the same to others. read more
