Ok- ambiance is key- this place is small - cozy is more like it - but very smartly designed - loved it. Never knew it was here; turned out is was only 3km from home - so we decided to - what the heck - try it! Seated promptly, we were asked if we wanted something to drink- we both wanted OJ (no size options were given) - we got two decent sized mason jars filled with fresh-squeezed juice. Nice. Didn't realize until later there were two sizes and we were served large - must be a default? Okie-dokie then! I ordered a Denver omelette sans onions with hashies and a side of rye toast. Now check this out- every item was hot- and the green peppers in the Denver were smokin' fresh! Wow! Hubby ordered a California Panini, and was very pleased as well. Does this place live up to to what a great breakfast place should be? Yes - yes it does! So will we return? Ummm.... did you read the review?

9,000 mile foodie road trip day 2 from Pittsburgh. Fantastic experience! Service great. Super friendly and knowledgeable of menu. Came in with plan but pivoted with the new menu item. Chihuahua breakfast skillet (pork carnitas, poblanos, tomato, onion, cilantro, chihuahua sauce, pepper jack, and served with poached eggs). Came with 2 pancakes also! Excellent blend of flavors. Carnitas cooked awesomely. Should have gotten toast over pancakes as not needed with the meal. Nice savory breakfast!

My husband and I dined in on a weekend morning and I really liked it! I noticed within 15 mins of being seated there was a line out the door to be seated. I highly recommend getting here by 9-10am at the latest to avoid a long wait time. Rising Early Cafe has about 75ish indoor seats. The decor is somewhat of a a rustic farm house feel and is very quaint and cute. Service throughout was fast and consistent. Within minutes a staff member approached our table with waters and asked for our drink order. We both got coffees which were hot and strong-ish. For food I ordered the south of the border omelet which came with 2 sides. I opted for fruit and pancakes. The omelet was DELICIOUS - it had the perfect amount of heat and the chorizo was flavorful and not too greasy. It also came with sour cream and pico which brought the whole dish together perfectly. I don't usually care for pancakes but they were good! Fluffy and light. The next time I come in I'll probably order the same thing, haha.

Very nice discovery! The menu items are plentiful and varied! Servings are huge and entrees are well presented, even just for breakfast items! Service is friendly and efficient. And although we combined our dine time with a casual business meeting, the wait staff never made us feel like they wanted us to leave before we were ready. My only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars is restroom maintenance. There should always be someone assigned to check the restrooms when it's a busy day. The one I used hadn't been cleaned in a while.

What a cute little brunch spot! It's a little difficult to find/hidden in a strip mall just off Schaumburg Road, but once you're inside it's so bright and welcoming. And the food was incredible. The chorizo quesadilla was savory and delicious. The skillets have diced potatoes which I personally prefer to hash browns, and the pancakes were fluffy and tasty. Finally, they have espresso drinks in addition to regular coffee. We will definitely be back with some family or friends soon!

Pretty good as a change of pace from the giant brunch restaurants that are pretty common in the Northwest Suburbs. Just big enough to seat a good number of people, but just small enough to get more personalized service, this restaurant serves up all the standard breakfast and lunch favorites at a reasonable price and at a reasonable speed. The decor isn't excessive, but the breakfast theme is clear throughout the restaurant and the service is friendly though it could be a little quicker (seems like they handle a fairly high volume of takeout orders as well). The presentation of the food was fairly neat with good colors and arrangement. Portion sizes aren't the largest I've seen but the prices are also a little lower to match as well. I found the flavors to be in line with what I'd get at other places like Brunch Cafe, good execution on familiar flavors. Textures were a bit better than expected with a great firmness on the fruit, good cheesy texture on the skillet, and a slightly crispy texture on the fluffy pancakes. I also like how minor elements such as onions and green peppers were sauteed nicely to add a good savory flavor. Overall, worth a visit if you're looking for a good option for brunch in the area in a spot with plenty of parking and not as busy as the super giant brunch spots around Schaumburg.

Wow the restaurant has been updated (we went to the restaurant that was here before) and it is decorated very nicely. The temperature of the restaurant is perfect not too cold and definitely not hot (in the summer) Our waitress Jasmine was really sweet and very attentive. It is July 4th and all the waitresses were dressed so cute for the holiday in red white and blue with lots of sparkle. I ordered the two egg breakfast with diced potatoes and pancakes and a hot tea. They have several tea bags that you get to choose from. I selected the Egyptian Chamomile and it was very tasty. My husband ordered the Corned Beef Hash with two eggs and water to drink. The pancakes were excellent but the rest of the food we ordered lacked seasoning. I added salt so it was not big deal. This is a great place to dine if your worried about your blood pressure. We will definitely be back, it was a relaxing and wonderful experience. They have lots of fruit based pancakes on the menu, the table next to us ordered and they looked so delicious! I may try the chicken and waffles next time! Someone else sitting at another table near us ordered two different sandwiches and they looked so delicious too. They were big and they took 1/2 of it home!

This place is new but here to stay! Inside is very bright, clean, and modern and the staff is very friendly and works very well together as a team. For a busy Sunday morning, we were seating right away. After a few rounds of coffee, we ordered. I tried the veggie omelette (sub egg whites) with fruit and pancakes. I think it was also suppose to come with potatoes which I totally forgot about until the end. Ops! The fruit cup was small but very fresh. The pancakes were just the right side. The omelette was also the perfect portion and packed with veggies!

Food was exceptional. Service was great. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Inside of restaurant is very clean and tidy. Food was served very promptly and service was provided excellent.

    Breakfast Panini

had the curro waffle an it was absolutely amazing! They do not skimp out on veggies in thhe vegetable skillet. Had their breakfast panini as well and skirt steak. Food, coffee, and juice was great! There's a little room for improvement in terms of their service but the food was great.

But today, hubby and I decided to try their protein bowls on a busy Friday late-afternoon! We brought the pupster with us, because, you know, he's family. So we sat out on the patio and I went in to order the bowls. I noted something that "probably" explained the relative "busy-ness" - 1/2 price beer and wine on Fridays! How could I not imbibe???? Hubby got the Beef and Sausage Bowl while I got the NEW! Chicken and Avocado Bowl (the latter just screamed "California"!). As a beer was 1/2 price I got a Bud Light on this warm and somewhat humid day. Now one thing you gotta appreciate- though you order at the counter, they give you a number and they bring the food to you- and they bus your table too - not bad! Alright- the food came out. And let me tell you, the Beef and Sausage Bowl looked - and tasted- fantastic. And that Chicken and Avocado Bowl? Baby. Where have you been all my life? That bowl was great! (and we shared a bit- and both of us liked each other's meal lots!). What was perfect? The portion sizes were perfect. - not overly large (as is the practice at way too many restaurants) and right- sized. Even better? The Chicken and Avocado Bowl had that terrific veneer of "health" that emanated all over it, which went a LONG way towards my enjoyment of it (despite the dressing, which- while tasty- was probably 200 calories too many). So- while I like their Italian Beef sandwiches? I fell for these bowls! And we'll be back! Buona - for god's sake. Expand outta Chicagoland! You've got a winning formula- it's time to let the country experience your food!

Their menu is loaded with all the popular items (kabobs, shawarmas, etc), so chose their chicken shawarma bowl. The lady helping ring me up explained how it was made and that sounded great, which was the garlic sauce (sort of like toom) was on the bottom with the rice on top, salad next and then the protein on top. So, this is what I ordered. It was made fresh and came out piping hot. The rice in the dish was bland and the chicken was slightly more flavorful, which means it was basically bland as well. The garlic sauce and the salad were the best two flavors on this dish and I tried to grab some of that in each bite. I wasn't too impressed with the flavors of the chicken shawarma at all, but then again I prefer flavorful and authentic food and can't stand when ethnic restaurants cater to "Americans" by making their food less spicy/authentic. The place was rather busy when I went and the dining room was kept clean. Service was friendly. I'd recommend this place to those who don't have high expectations for spice, rather are looking for a nice experience.

It was empty when it arrived, but filled up on our way out, telling me it's a popular place for the younger crowd. Either way, you know you're in for a good meal when you see the huge doner rotisserie spinning. The owner (at least I'm pretty sure he was the owner) helpfully walked us through their sauce selection and even offered my MIL some sauce samples. She ended up getting the hot dog with veggies, while my wife and I got sandwich combos (17 for the sandwich + 3.50 for fries and a drink). I was going to share my combo with my preschooler since they don't have a kids meal, but the owner thoughtfully offered some fries with chicken for him. We definitely had to tip well for such nice service. So this is no ordinary sandwich, and the pictures don't do it justice. In pics it looks kind of like a pita pocket, but this thing has some HEFT. Filled with veggies, meat, and sauce, it got a little messy but was really tasty. The veggies were fresh, and it's hard to top meat sliced right off the log. My MIL said her unique hot dog was good as well. To me it looked like a Chicago dog from another dimension, but I also want to give it a try next time. Protip: Ask for your sauces on the side. They're almost too generous with it on the sandwich so it's nice to have a little more control with it. This will definitely enter the rotation and will be letting our friends know as well. The bread is a large and rustic pita pocket. The beef is great, slices off the spit. And the load of veggies with sauce round out the sandwich. The veggies (called salad in the menu) consist of lettuce, cabbage, onion, tomato, and cucumber. You can choose between beef, chicken, or both. And the sauces consist of garlic, herb, or spicy. The counter service is fine... they make everything to order, so it does take a bit of time and it can be a little bit of a wait with orders ahead of you. The place is a typical strip mall fast food place with a handful of tables and some black and white pictures on the wall. Not fancy or crazy, but clean and inviting.

This is not going to be cheap though. If you're gonna go to this place, expect not only excellent service but not your McDonald's prices. Saw a couple of the next table come in and order a hamburger and fries. Seriously? You come to this place for a burger and fries? (Lol). I'm sure the burger and fries was excellent, but this place is not known to be a burger joint, even though it's on the menu but again, to each his or her own. I wouldn't come here just to have a burger. There are many other places that do that. Step it up a little. Come here for a higher tier of food caliber. That being said: Our server was excellent. The manager along with the chef / the wine "professor"- (he was excellent as well- extremely knowledgeable, and paired our bottle of wine perfectly with all our meals) along with everyone else who came by to check on us. But our server was absolutely attentive and great. He wasn't pushy and he was very easy-going but very astute and had all the attention to detail. So hopefully we made his night when we came to the tip. (we weren't slouches, nope.). I wish I remembered his name, it wasn't a typical name, but he was outstanding. That being said, make sure that you pack away a couple "bones" when you see the check- also make sure that you tip your waiter for the outstanding job that they do. So don't skimp on that either. So again: It isn't cheap, but a place like this shouldn't be. We had a great experience overall- Also, this isn't your T-shirt and shorts type of place. You have to dress up. No schleps..
