Charged one dollar to add cinnamon per pancake on a stack of pancakes. Not 1$ to add cinnamon to a stack. 1$ for each pancake in the stack. It doesn't even require 1 tsp of cinnamon per pancake. So how many I basically bought a whole bottle of cinnamon for them. We spoke to the manager. He thinks this is perfectly ok to charge 1$ per pancake not per stack. Nowhere does it say on the menu it's 1.00 PER PANCAKE NOT STACK. I don't like MO's but I will NEVER eat here again. Besides the rip off - the pancakes were very hard and dense. I had to use a knife. My boyfriend tried to eat them and said it's was the nastiest shit he'd ever had Seriously horrible inedible pancake. How do you do that? Just had the worse experience here. Been there many times today it was completely empty and all tables were set up for 4 people - we showed up a few minutes before our friends and they refused to sit us even though every table was set up for 4 people. The host was extremely rude to us and it almost felt like she didn't want to sit us for some reason - racial? This is the former Dusty's Diner, in a strip mall between the Mrs Baird's Outlet and the "Only $1" store. Ate there twice recently and loved it both times. The new owners were familiar to me from the Westside Cafe (another favorite of mine). They are definitely doing things right here. Dare I say it? It is blasphemy to say I liked the CFS better here than at Westside? (Stand back in case of lightning strikes.) It was a really great piece of meat with a crunchy breading. I really loved the turnip greens (made with smoky bacon) and mashed potatoes. My husband's cheeseburger was large and delicious. Fries were homemade and made well. We had a side order of onion rings that really knocked our socks off. They look intimidating because the chef cuts them in wide (really really wide!) strips, but they were sweet, crunchy, and addictive. Kind of a tempura batter. Nummy. I'm sure we'll be back again and again. Prices are super reasonable and the people are the nicest ever. Be sure to try the chocolate cake, but beware. It's richer than Bill Gates. read more

This is the third or fourth time we have eaten here and have been happy every time. Happy and stuffed to the gills. I had the Hard Hat burger. It was a large, handmade patty that had that flavor you get from a well used grill. It was delicious. Came with a huge side of fries. I had a side order of onion rings and ranch dressing. They turned out to be too much to eat, so we brought the leftovers home. I wish the chef would cut them a little thinner, but they are seriously good the way they are. Wife had her usual CFS and greens and the bite I had of her steak was quite possibly the best bite of CFS I have had since they closed down the Hayloft in the 70's. She loved the greens but said they were a little too salty. That didn't keep her from finishing them and practically drinking the pot likker out of the veggie bowl. Next time we go, it will be for dessert. I'm always scouting out good bread pudding, and the waitress said they make an awesome one there. Came here for breakfast because a customer of mine always tag this place on his Instagram stories. I must say, for a simple breakfast of pancakes, French toast, eggs, hash brows, turkey bacon and wheat toast (lol, the list seems complicated), they did such an amazing job with the overall experience. The pancakes were HUGE and fluffy, the French toast was thick and flavorful, hash brows was perfectly crispy (I requested extra crispy too), bacon was cooked just right and didn't have the oily taste and eggs had the yolk pouring out so gracefully. Besides the food, the service was so beyond expectations. They were so friendly that you couldn't help but be so nice back to them. We left with a full tummy and a smile on our face.
