I had a custom ordered gluten free crust olive oil pizza with mozzarella, chicken and green peppers. It was absolutely delicious! I sat down and looked around and I noticed that the place had great ambiance to it, and it had some great decor as well! The service was amazing especially with Kaylee, she was kind, accomodating and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my delicious food to its fullest. Quick sitting...but the place is often very cold. Quick and friendly service and frequent rechecks for additional needs/wants. Good pizza flavors but the ingredients need to extend closer to the edge of the crust. The ingredients are plentiful and taste great but there is a lot of crust that is bare. It's time to point out another gem at the Kuna location. Sky is an excellent employee and even a better person. She is calm under pressure and always well-spoken, polite and professional. She has been faced with a lot as a bartender / new manager lately but she hasn't blinked. She does a fantastic job and should be recognized. We came here on a Friday afternoon after we realized my wife had a gift card. We decided to go early for happy hour. We had the wings, Everything knots and the happy hour 8" pizza special. Our waitress was very nice. She suggested a Huckleberry Mojto for my wife, which was really good. The wings and pizza were also very good. The knots were tasty but we thought they needed some cheese added with them. Two downsides were they did not have any ranch sauce (weird for a pizza place) and it took awhile for our food to come even with not very many people inside. I ordered here with DoorDash - got a salad and pizza lunch combo. Both items were wrong. The pizza was missing toppings and had very few of what was ordered so it was edible although very disappointing but the salad was mixed with the incorrect salad dressing and I was not able to eat it. Since this was my first order at DoorDash they would not refund me and it really should have been Smoky Mountain to correct the issue since they were the culprit but they would not help facilitate a refund. I called a bit after 1pm and asked to speek to the general manager. I was put on the phone with someone that said they were. I will not post the name they gave me because I don't want any hate or fallout toward any one individual. I explained what had happened to me and told him that there were photos on the kuna must know page. I was told that I was over reacting and they questioned the authenticity of the photos. They said I already gave me the spaghetti for free because of the mix up with the Thai rolls. He also said that they didn't even need to do that because it was not their fault. He made it seem like I was just trying to cause problems and get free food. Firstly I never asked for a refund, gift card or any kind of credit. I just wanted to bring their attention and allow them to make necessary changes to try and win back some customers. If I wanted my money back I would have just done a charge back like so many people suggested in the comments below. I have no idea why a business would treat a customer this way. It is a true shame that they think they can treat customers like trash and there will not be any consequences. There are around 25 thousand people part of this group and hundreds have commented or reacted to this post. I hope this post can just help to inform the public and allow to make educated decisions before spending their hard earned money on something that to so many is luxury like going out dinner. ***Original Post below*** We have eaten food from Smokey Mountain in Kuna 3 times. All 3 times the order was around $150. Tonight we ordered a large To go order and it markes the last time we will ever eat from there. The one thing we were looking forward to was the Thai rolls. We were told that we had ordered the last ones but they had exploded in the fryer. I understand stuff happens but the way they handled it and the condescending attitude the manager and person at the front counter had was unacceptable. I ordered baked spaghetti and a pizza to replace the Thai rolls. The meal was a total disaster. The Brie bites were missing the sauce they are suppose to come with. The spaghetti had bearly any sauce on it. They completely forgot our order of spinach and artichoke dip. The Sonoma chicken had barely any chicken and was greasy. The worst was the lasagna looked like a disgusting pile of sauce in a container and was cold in the middle but the edges were scalding hot. Quite obvious that whoever was in the kitchen microwaved it and sent it. I an not a picky person but I do expect to get what I pay for. Kuna has so few restaurants that this is unacceptable. I am attaching pictures of what they called lasagna and spaghetti. Just those 2 dishes were $35 by themselves. This is not something that will come as a shock to most. Anyone who has eaten at Smokey Mountain knows it is not a cheap restaurant. I know that the restaurant could probably care less about my complaint or opinion. I am posting this here just so other residents of Kuna can make an informed decision before spending their hard earned money on dismal food served by a staff that treats you like it is a special gift to be in their presence. read more

Kuna seems to have a lot of pizza and pasta place but this was really good. I immediately was seated and was asked what I wanted to drink which came really fast. Visited this establishment around noon today with three friends. Food that we received was great, however one person in our party was brought the wrong pizza and they were going to make her a correct one so it would be a few minutes more.... 30 minutes later....after the rest of us had consumed our lunch....we were told that they had made the incorrect pizza yet again so hers would be just a few more minutes!!!! By then we needed to head out for our 1.5 hour drive home....she had them just put it in a box to go as she would be driving and couldn't eat it until later this evening!!! Went to pay and they had left the charge for her pizza on the ticket....after waitress had a discussion with her manager they took $1.50 off the bill....kind of added insult to the situation.... Then it was discussed directly with the day manager or supervisor on duty and the end result was they would not reduce the bill any further and he was very rude and condescending to my friend saying that $1.50 was more than fair even though we ended up being there for an extra 40 minutes and one of our party never got to eat her food...... This interaction was handled very poorly and very unprofessionally in my opinion....will not darken the doors of this establishment again even though we travel to the area often to visit friends!!! read more

I visited for lunch on April 10th and was served by Sin. She was very welcoming, seated me quickly and bought my beverage right away. Her service was outstanding because she checked on me periodically, made sure my order was perfect and checked to see if i needed anything additional. The food was cooked absolutely perfect and tasted delicious. This location is great because the restaurant is clean, organized and has great ambiance. My husband and I stopped in for a drink tonight and dinner to go. We sat in the bar, and the bar tender was efficient with a full bar. She was kind and did great. When we got our food to go I opened it at home. The chicken fettuccine alfredo I ordered hand less that 1oz of chicken in it. I thought at first they forgot the chicken, which probably would have been better, lol. The fettuccine was good, but i wish it had more sauce and, of course, chicken, too. Came here a couple times recently on a trip to the Treasure Valley as it was close to where I was staying. Smoky Mountain is a solid spot for dine in or takeout (I did both in a recent stay). Their menu is large with several apps, salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, in addition to pizza. I've had their grilled salmon salad as well as their grilled chicken caesar salad and both were a delight. The grilled salmon salad comes with red peppers, red onions, oranges, feta, and a sweet mango vinaigrette. It was crisp, fresh, and flavorful. The grilled chicken caesar comes with a few squares of their herbed flatbread, which was all garlicky deliciousness. Their prices are average and you can order takeout online. The service inside is friendly if a bit on the slower side. All and all, a solid spot with ample portions and fresh ingredients! read more

Great little pizza spot right off Meridian road in Kuna. Convenient to lots of other stores and ample parking. I went in with a group of 5 this past week and we were promptly seated and our drink orders were filled. My wife and I split an12" carnivore pizza and I was really impressed! Lots of toppings, fresh vegetables, and a crust that was airy yet chewy. I thought it tasted great and was a perfect size for sharing. Others in our group got calzones, burgers, and boneless wings and all had good things to say. The ambiance was nice with good country music playing and TVs to watch different sports on. Came in with two of my brothers, sister in law and husband. We were seated at a booth that was quite tight for the five of us. Our waitress got us an extra chair to sit at the end of the table, which was greatly appreciated. My husband and I got the carnivore combo pizza to share and it was delicious! The crust was light and airy but chewy and oh so good!! Our server was attentive and the other staff were also very considerate of the fact that our baby was sleeping. This is the best Smoky Mountain location in the area. I've tried all other locations. All of them have terrible service. This one has good service. At least that's been my experience with it. The food is pretty good overall, but it fully depends on what you order. Most of it has been good though. I overall enjoy coming here and do recommend it. First of all, we rarely eat out anymore. The costs are just too high. But I was given a gift card at my work. So I took my wife and two kids. Waited 15 mins, which we had no complaints. I've never had worse service than what we received tonight. Just terrible. Server did not know the menu, we had to ask numerous times for a glass of water. Food took a little longer, than what we were expecting. But wasn't too concerned over the wait. But then the food arrives. It's warm but not hot. My daughter's pasta looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. Pizza and calzones were barely warm. So not typical of Smokey mountain. Food is typically so hot, you have to be careful. 16 dollars for noodles and garlic bread. No chicken or vegetables on the dish! Seriously will never return here. Just appalling! Which is sad, due to the lack of sit down places to eat, in the area. read more
