We were initially aiming for the crispy shawarma however only Mira Mesa and La Mesa does it. So I guess that's next on our list! The wraps were unexpectedly big! This is probably the biggest wrap I ever had! Generous with meat and veggies. Their wagyu egg rolls are definitely must have! Falafel fries is really good too! All of these perfectly paired with their garlic sauces. My favorite is spicy lemon garlic! The staff are very knowledgeable about their menu. It's a food truck set up and there's mini standing tables for alfresco dining. SG was definitely lived up to the title #1 restaurant in the country on Yelp!

Not really an ambience since there's not much as far as a dining room. There are a couple of cocktail tables where you could eat. After ordering online at 20:20pm, my estimated pick up time was 8:39pm and got the order at 9:03pm. The cashier informed me their chicken is taking a while and added extra time to the wait. It probably would've been faster if they weren't so backed up. I ordered the Wagyu beef and chicken shawarma plate for me and my wife to share. I added 3 falafels and pita bread on top of it. The food was still fresh when I got home 15 mins later. Everything was good and just enough for us two. Also, I'm not sure why there's a range of where they may be located on Yelp since this is just a food truck that seems to be permanent at this location.

This time I had a Mar y Tierra burrito, the celery was old and tasted bad. The seafood was not fresh and the meat was decent. Half a dozen oysters with shrimp (maybe ceviche/aguachile) and some type of salsa. They come in a nice little bed of ice to keep them cool, they hit the spot on a warm day. I saved the last one towards the end of our meal because I was sad it was coming to an end. Definitely my favorite item of this trip. We also shared a large shrimp cocktail, fish flautas and Clamato. Shrimp cocktail had the perfect seasonings, salty and hint of sweet. Large is good as 1 meal or to share if trying different things. The fish flautas were good, they come with a fried fish inside. Not one of my top items of today but still good to try. The Clamato was so refreshing! Size is big for sharing, great flavor. Everything tasted very fresh which is so important, especially with the oysters. Staff was friendly and super welcoming! $66 for everything was decently priced 2 people sharing. Will definitely be visiting these guys again. *parking & seating - there are high tables and counter to eat on but no chairs. We park at the liquor store since it's a quick trip but there is also street parking.

I was getting a lot of text so I was busy and normally would have walked away with that type of behavior. When he finally came over I asked him if he was open or what and he said 'yeah' and I said "well I've been standing here a while so I wasn't sure." he had no comment like oh sorry I didn't see you there or anything I know he saw me there he just ignored me. I'm pretty sure I was the first customer and I ordered the falafel which they were out of. wow. So I settled on the chicken kabob which was supposed to be a plate and it looked more like a side salad for $12. There was nothing special about this kabob and they were telling me it was some sort of authentic recipe authentic or not it was unmemorable. The more and more I try food trucks the more and more I am disappointed. They're just overpriced and not worth it and this is one of them.

I ran into this Kebabery at the Helix Brewery and ordered a lamb and beef Döner kebab with a…read moreterrific blend of authentic Turkish spices. I say authentic because the spice mix actually comes all the way from Turkey. The Döner kebab was all about those Turkish flavors. They aggressive in a very good way and packed a touch of heat as well. The heat was subtle but definitely was felt on the palate. As a result, the lamb and beef were very flavorful. The Döner kebab also came with a familiar yogurt sauce or a Tzatziki which not only tasted great but also complimented the Turkish spices and added as a gentle cooling affect. Although the beef and lamb tasted good, I did feel they both could of been a little more tender. The Döner kebab also came with fresh lettuce and red onions. They served it on a toasted flat bread that had great flavor and texture. The gent who runs the Local Kebab is very friendly and passionate about his trade and for good reason too. You can find the Local Kebab at a variety of local breweries so I suggest you check out the L. Kebab's website.

They also offer grilled fish tacos, I learned later, which I would of had instead, but they are not on the menu. Both tacos came served with a light white mayo based dressing and with fresh slaw and a scattering of diced tomatoes and onions (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mariscos-oceanos-san-diego?select=MU7ZUhucQjbQKSYsrq_E_g#xOJqwrG36IiQ_a52y4_FPA). The fish taco was great. The batter with crispy and the fish inside was succulent and tender. The Shrimp taco was good too, but the batter could of used just a wee bit of more time in the fryer to crisp it up. The shrimp inside were well cooked and tender (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/mariscos-oceanos-san-diego?select=MU7ZUhucQjbQKSYsrq_E_g#8mzgb5f8fiYoreKoMque5w). The corn tortillas were good, but I would recommend, if they can afford it, to double up on the tortillas because the tacos had a tendency to break under the weight of ingredients, especially the sauce. The offer a cup of fish broth with every meal, which I did not partake, and they have seating available next the truck. They are located as of 1/3/15 in the Miller's Market Parking lot. Nice people too....on the upper end of 3.5 stars..
