This place is awful. We have been here several times with friends and they ALWAYS get our order wrong. The crawfish is gross---not fresh at all! There are always bugs flying around your food if you eat in the restaurant. I was really hoping it would be better after giving it a couple of chances, but no. This place was seriously good. The food was good. We ordered some crawfish, clams and wings in normal/regular spicy sauce. I felt like my face was going to melt, but that's only because I'm weak. Normal people found their sauce to be just fine. The food was delicious and cooked right. The wings were crispy on the outside (even the soy sauce version) and tender on the inside. The clams were steamed to a good texture and evenly coated with spices. The service was great too. They give you two sets of gloves...and an apron. No seriously. A disposable apron! DUNCANVILLE LOCATION: Food is great and so are the prices. However tonight is the second night in a row we have been and couldn't get service. Last night we walked in at 9:40 pm. Their sign says they are open until 11:00 pm but the waitress says they stop serving at 9:30. Her reason....."we have too many people that come in and stay until 10 or 11 eating." Why is that an issue if their front door says they are open until 11:00 and their Facebook page says midnight? Tonight we walked in at 8:50 pm and were again refused because they were already closed. Last night they stopped serving at 9:30?!?! Again the door says 11:00 and their Facebook page says midnight. Really a shame. They really need to post accurate hours and get a staff that is willing to work. read more

Good atmosphere and crawfish. Ordered 4 lbs with some shrimp and it was very tasty with a Korean twist. I think they added red bean paste to the sauce so it's really pasty and thick. They definitely have their own twist to their rub. Import beers are $4 there so that was a definite + too. This is a very good alternative the other long standing seafood places in town. read more

The crab and shrimp were excellent! The crab legs weren't over cooked. They snapped right open and weren't limp. The shrimp were large, sweet, and meaty. The prices are fair I get the combo#1 Cajun hot it has shrimp and crab legs potatoes and corn for $15.99 I love it. My husband got catfish basket it comes with an enormous amount of fries and 3 hush puppies he also enjoyed his plate. The hush puppies are really good. I definitely recommend giving this place a try we travel about 30 minutes to get there and it's so worth it. read more

My boyfriend and I were craving crawfish and live in irving and were really happy this find this place. I've always seen it since I always visit k town and at first was a bit hesitant. However, it surpassed our expectations. We ordered a pound of cajun hot shrimp and two pounds of the cajun hot crawfish. The shrimp was phenomial. It had a lot more flavor than the crawfish did. The crawfish was good but the shrimp was better. The specials were awesome too. We went Sunday and they have buy one get one free beer which is awesome. Me and my compadre ate here 2 days ago and it was a great experience, fun and laughable, course we were new to the rocking crab and the whole experience of the apron, gloves and handy tools they give you was neat to us. But I had the lemon pepper mild which was sooooo hot to me but was really good I like the slices of lime they put in their bag adds so much flavor to everything. My friend had the Cajun hot and mouth was on fire but it was good. We loved it and by the way shell shack of Arlington didn't have nothing on this place (see my review of shell shack) service was mediocre but not bad but was just a relaxing atmosphere quiet and not too noisy. So far rocking crab beat the wrap hands down shell shack was garbage and we have yet to try boiling crab so we'll see. read more

On the recommendation of a friend, I finally had dinner here with my wife. The service was appropriate. My inital order came to the table without sausage. After making this known to the wait staff, the couple next to us spoke up and stated that they had the same issue. The food was decent, but I don't think I will return. Visit: friday night @8pm. when we walked in only 2 tables were occupied and when we left 3 tables were occupied. i wanted to walk out but i thought i should give this place a shot, which was a mistake. Food: too salty and garlicky for most boil stuff. we ordered 3 fillets of fried catfish, but after examining the fillet was actually cut in half and fried. i've been to many seafood/catfish places but never seen anyone cut the fish in half and serve as one whole piece. very shady business. Services: poor. waitstaff couldn't explain different items on items nor could not recommend anything off menu. maybe there were all new. Conclusion: save your money go elsewhere. read more

My son and I went to eat here and our bill was 18.89 and they took it a pond them self to add a 20.00 tip to my bill and I left a 5.00 tip in cash. Wow. I was a bit skeptical to try a new crawfish place because we usually go to Boiling Crab. But omg. This place is sooooo good!! I saw a review about the sauce not being thick. Definitely not the case when we went!! The sauce was perfect and so flavorful. The best part was the portions though. I ordered a pound of crawfish and a pound of shrimp together as a combo and I swear there was a lot more than that. I can usually knock out a pound of each at other crawfish places no problem but I struggled to finish the food here because there was so much!! What a bargain!Also,if you like spicy,the extra spicy order is actually really spicy! My husband met his match! As far as service,our waiter was quiet but still offered great service. I ordered some crawfish to go. Parking lot was full of pot holes and the store was in the sketchy old Korean town. The crawfish was small even though it was in April, aka prime crawfish season. In addition, the flavor was not memorable. It was not garlicky or buttery enough. The sauce was overwhelmingly salty and fishy (like anchovy / fish sauce was used in the sauce). It is definitely worse than the Crab Station or the Boiling Crab. To me it was as forgettable as Tasty Tails. Off to the next crawfish place in Dallas. read more
