Updated January 3rd 2019. About a year-and-a-half after I wrote my initial review I actually try to give them a second chance because the particular car I was looking for they had so I went in no expectations, no hard feelings and tried to give them a new start in a new year. I met with one of their salesmen I do forget his name, tall guy with blond hair clean cut oh, very nice seemed pretty knowledgeable was more than willing to help me out, filled out my credit then I was met with the anchor of this company the sales manager Dmitry. He came out of the office with his cell phone in hand and immediately asked me if I wrote this review referring to my first Yelp review of there so-called business. I said yes that was me but I'm willing to give you guys a second chance in fact if I have a good experience I will take down my original post oh, now most people in business, or anybody with a brain would not even hold a grudge and stick to the business at hand not be personal about it and can try to continue with the sale but he cordially with a smile informed me that my money is no good with them and they won't sell me a car. Now I know why out of 22 reviews 14 of them are one star and my company has over a hundred five star reviews with not one negative review. Don't bother coming to this dealership. Yesterday I saw an ad of a 2008 Subaru wrx on Facebook about it from Dmitry. I messaged him and I asked him what's the price on the vehicle and took him an hour to reply back "Are you military? I respond back with "no". After that I just decided to drive over there since it's a 20 minute drive.it was just about to be 1pm . I saw it and I walked in and was approached by another worker "forgot his name" and I see dmitry just cleaning the car and I asked them what's the price on it and they told me " someone left a deposit for it they will come tomorrow to pick it up" and I'm like okay cool so I try to walk around to see every other car just do browse around and I told them i don't have any attention on buy a car today just want to look and get an idea. I already know what car I would want but just wanted to look around but they kept on pushing me and pushing me to try to finance a car I keep telling them no so after all that I left. Later my day I just relax and it turns night time and I get a message at midnight from guess who dmitry. Saying " Any family in the military?" Do not even think about approaching this dealership as they have no clue as to what things are really worth and try to exploit first time car buyers with nothing but lies. I bought a truck here not too long ago and I initially wasn't even approved for the loan so I was literally coerced into finding a co-signer on the spot. So I called my wife hoping that she would shut everything down, but instead she was really busy at the time and blindly agreed into co-signing and behold we were approved for the loan. So I start signing documents with history reports, repair histories,car faxes on the truck, and that it is an "as is" vehicle (which is a load of BS and only an illusion that makes it seem that the dealership is not liable when they actually can be). The bank was not open at this time so I go home and sleep on it. Right then and there I didn't want to go through with the purchase as I looked up the KBB value of the vehicle at the time was about $12,000. They were trying to sell it at 21,000 but dropped it to 19,125 as that was the max I was approved for through NavyFed with maxed out APRs at 18%. I had applied for another loan with USAA at an APR of 5% but they wouldn't even consider accepting that, USAA even warned me not to go through with it. I text Dimitri that I didn't want to purchase the vehicle anymore and tried to explain that it was way outside of my budget and that I couldn't afford it. Instead of being understanding or even try to have me settle for a cheaper car, he instead threatens me with legal action and that he'd go start up high with the base general and make his way down to my chain of command (yes I am in the military, and Dimitri was in the marines prior as well and straight up took advantage of the trust I had with prior military Service members). This sounds absurd now, but at the time it was something I didn't want to deal with and purchased the truck anyways, without a test drive if I may add. Fast forward to now, I've been making constant repairs on this overpriced hunk of metal from fixing a blown turbo, replacing warped engine components, replacing the illegally modified exhaust that was on it when it was sold to to me, and the biggest part that upset me the most was the super illegal and very dangerous lift which consisted of two lift blocks that were stacked on top of each other in the rear. They were not even bolted in place which meant the weight of the truck was keeping them together and god forbade that I went too fast or turned too suddenly, the entire rear axle of the vehicle would have been completely gone and that potentially could have costed the lives of my family or other innocent drivers on the road. Before I wrote this, I seeked legal advice from a lawyer and I'm pretty sure the case was open and shut to him before I even walked in through his door and with the knowledge I have now, I'm going to attempt to be civil and try to settle without the courts but if they continue to think that they're untouchable, I'll be sure to make them think again... read more

Don't go to these guys, I'm a marine and did the boot thing because I saw a nice looking car. Went in and immediately they asked if I was military, then one guy started to act like he related and told me he was in the military. The dude didn't even know what his EDIPI was. If you were in the military I don't think you'd ever forget that number. But anyways don't let just that fact persuade you, I went in to check a Range Rover and I asked about the specs and the salesman new NOTHING about it. Didn't know anything except the obvious physical features, like red brake calipers, and the matte black wrap. But hold on, it gets crazier, so I go inside and we're just talking, all I wanted to know was the FULL price of the car and he kept telling me "let's call your bank and see if you're approved"... APPROVED FOR WHAT??? YOU DIDNT EVEN TELL ME THE FULL PRICE OF THE CAR LMAO. So here I am, naive and young and have NO idea how how to buy a car and this guys already hassling me. So I called navy fed and YOOOOOOOO this guy grabbed the phone from me! He grabbed it out of my hands and said "don't worry I'll talk to them". At that point I was like aight it's time for me to head out, so he handed me the phone because I had to answer some security questions and I texted my wife on the low while the phone was on speaker and told her to call me and say we need to leave. My wife calls so I put navy fed on hold and she's on speaker and she says "we need to go because we're 10 minutes past my curfew" (when I went back to the car I told my wife that was the dumbest excuse she came up with but hey, it worked) so I told the guys I had to go and these guys literally interrogated me like I HAD to be there. Three of those shady dudes just sitting and standing around me asking why my WIFE had a curfew. I told them that I'm just gonna go and I'll be back tomorrow. Anyways don't believe the "manager" who replies to these reviews. He was the worst one and he's just trying to cover his own ass. He's the one who snatched my mf phone outta my hand bruh. read more

I will never recommend this dealership to anyone!!! Sold us a vehicle that in less than 2 weeks broke down while my husband and I were 600 miles away from home visiting family. To find out that the transmission needed to be replaced and we ended up having to rent a car to return home. I made numerous of calls to sale manager Adrian to resolve this issue. He ignored and never returned my calls for over a week. Only when I called our lender did he call to negatively yell how he didn't appreciate our negative complaint to the lender and offered us to call the lender to retract our complaint in order for them to pay our rental car fee's. They should pay for the inconvenience of lying and selling a vehicle with issues. read more

I was looking for a car and found one that I like at FB Marketplace. I sent a message inquiring about the mileage and a Macario sent a reply asking if I was Military or Veteran. I guess they only cater to military or veterans so if you are a civilian then you are assed out!! I replied that I am a Veteran, then he answered back asking for my phone number so he can "explain the process" . Explain the process for what??? So I replied "cant you just give me the miles in it?". He then proceeded to message me their address and said I need to come see the car to get the mileage myself. ARE YOU F'N SERIOUS??!!. This is the customer service I get and I haven't even stepped in their dealership? What a way to make a first impression Macario!! I will be posting this very same review on my FB page to give this guys a dose of their incompetence. Stay away from this dealership!!! WARNING! Okay don't even waste your time with this place , I bought a truck from them and they say oh we take it to a repair shop to make sure everything works and functions as well as safe. Okay it all started when I looked at the truck and I know my stuff mechanically so we made a deal and so it goes on he tells me your truck will go in the shop tomorrow to get looked at and put a new steering wheel on it and hopefully tires because they were bald and this place you get the run around they just want your money most unprofessional place ever..... it gets worse ,I wait almost 2 weeks to pick up my truck and they don't t even up date you I had to call and text them ,so I finally get the call to pick it up then I'm almost there driving from Beaumont the salesman calls and says hey man your truck isn't done they have to go get a part and I'm like okay well I'm here and he's like sorry so I wait and I arrived at 12:30 and then finally 6:30 comes around your truck is done we had to drive down the street to some ghetto ass ,drug dealer ,chop shop and when I drive up I look at the truck I purchased and the tires look to be the wrong size and I'm not happy because before it had 37x12.50R17s as well as two spare tires on rims in the back the same size ,now it looks like it skipped leg day with 315-70R17s I was pissed and the salesman doesn't even let me drive it back to the dealership like what the fuck it's mine. So I'm not happy so I tell the salesman hey man I'm not trying to be a dick but dude come you put the wrong size tires on it ,so then he gets all upset with me and I'm like dude that's bs what if you bought a car and they put the wrong size tire on it you wouldn't be happy,so then they call the shop and have the shop worker on speaker and he tells him the problem and the guy straight up says it never had 37s and it can't fit them I'm like your lying man this is bs then why does it have 37 inch spares on rims . So I just was over it I told them dude I just want the truck but I'm not happy then get in it ,this place didn't even wash the truck and go to start it it's on E like WTF so I hop out go to the dealership and he's like oh yeah so the other salesman goes with us to use the gas card, so we go to the gas station and like were standing at the pump for 10 mins and it's like 8 o'clock I'm tired and pissed and missing out on watching monster cup so he finally comes over and I pump the gas and as I'm doing it he keeps asking me hey could you give us a good review on yelp and I'm like dude I'm tired and want to go home I'll do it later ,they only want your review when you are all happy and that's why they're is good reviews on here but they will screw you some way so avoid these guys. read more

I always have a hard time trusting salesman when trying to buy a car because they only see customers as another commission they can make but not here in Rockstar Rides and that salesman name is Dmitry. I only spoke with him through the phone but his customer service was superb the way he talked to me showed that I was more than just another customer looking for a car , his concern for my future family has made me feel cared for and definitely something I don't see on a daily basis. Dmitry is how all salesman should be trained , always keeping customers safety in mind and honesty above all else!!!!!!! Look no where else , ask for Dmitry and let all your car problems be solved!!! Me being 19 years old walked into the dealer with the intent to look around and potentially consider purchasing a vehicle here. I was greeted and shown around by an employee. Another couple walked into the dealership and I was handed down to another employee. I found a vehicle I liked and I asked how long It had been on the lot for and the employee tells me "it's been here since I started working here" ( 5 months). Ok then taken inside to talk about pricing and payment plans. Another couple walks in to the dealership and I am once again handed down to another employee. He seemed to be the newest out of the three working that day. They suggested I call navy federal for financing and to their surprise I called and got approved. With that in mind they allowed me to take the car out for a test drive so I took it around the block and came back to the dealer. At this point the other two couples had left. When the other two employees overheard I got approved they very suddenly took interest in me again. They urge me to go pick up the check from navy federal and bring It back right away so I can "ride out of here in my dream car." I insist that I take a couple of days to shop around and see my options and most importantly review my finances to make sure this is affordable for me in the long run. But even still they keep pressuring me that I should go get the check. The manager Dmitri then attempts to coax me by offering me soda and pizza. He then goes on and tells me that I'd be wasting my time by going out and looking for other deals because his dealership has the best prices in sd county and keeps telling me how sweet id look cruising in this ride with my girlfriend. I refresh him in the fact that although he feels like this is the best deal out there I still wanna take some time to review my finances. This doesn't sit well with him. He try's a new approach in telling me that this car is "hot" and It could be purchased by another person the next day if I don't act now. I then ask dmitri how long has that car has been here? keep in mind I already know the answer because of what the other employee told me,but dmitri tells me a couple of weeks. Which didn't at all match up to what the other employee told me, 5 months. They all insist they personally take me down to the bank to pick up the check because the bank closes in about 15 minutes, In theory It seems like a nice gesture but in reality they just want me to close the deal with them. I humor the idea and tell them i would rather meet them there. They speed over to the bank and we made It at 4:58 I pick up the check and the two employees, Not dmitri, suggest I now come back to the dealership. I tell them I already told your boss what my plan was. . . And that is to review my finances and also I plan to look around for better deals despite your claim of having the best pricing one of the employees then begins to reason with me and use the same "don't you wanna pull up to your girlfriends house in that ride and cruise around" approach but I wasn't gonna have any of that. Around 15 minutes later they're finally willing to accept the fact that I'm not going to go back with them to the dealer. We part our ways and I never went back to that dealer. This was 1 year ago. I would just like to report that 1 month after that that even occurred I found a much better car, same model 30,000 less miles and 4,000$ cheaper through a private seller. I've now had the car for almost 11 months with zero problems. I dislike this dealership for several reasons. They are willing to lie to me to make a sale. & They tried to take advantage of me because I younger than most customers. I responded to Craigslist ad for By Owner, invested a great deal of time and effort and got to meeting location (used car lot) to find that the seller was actually the salesman of the company. TERRIBLE! Back in October 2016 I needed to purchase a better car than the one I previously had, due to having a newborn.. I went on the website trying to inquire about their cars, and didn't get any response for a few days. So I finally decided to give them a call, figured out which car was "right" for me, and was ready to purchase. Well my own fault, I went later on at night so I couldn't really tell that the tires had no little to no tread, carpet on the floor was coming up, and there were missing pieces on the outside of the car. Not to mention how terrible the car smelled. The car needed an oil change only a month after me having it, as well as a few other problems! Well, it is now March 2017 and I still have NOT received my tags!! I constantly call about it and they keep telling me they probably got lost in the mail. I highly doubt that happened, only because that was the first thing the guy said to me before I even asked about the freakin tags. Coincidence? Ugh I'm just highly disappointed in this place.
