I live over an hour away . I stopped in at the Ontario Mills Location. I order i milk chocolate caramel , one milk chocolate caramel apple and 3 milk chocolate covered strawberries. However, we had been to this location a few times and noticed that every single time, they have boxes of fresh apples and are dipping them right there in store. And every time we've bought apples at this location, they've been great. Long story short, we took the plunge and placed the order. The employees knew how to handle it and explained exactly how it would work. Everything went to plan, and while it was a little pricey, the quality was exceptional and the order was ready to go at the agreed-upon time. The apples were a huge hit at the wedding. I was craving some fancy dark chocolates, and I decided to give Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory a try. I've only had their candy apples once, but I've never had their chocolates before. I had a hard time deciding what to choose, but I decided on a dark chocolate assortment box since I LOVE dark chocolate. To my disappointment, the chocolates were very sweet, tough, and didn't melt in my mouth like decadent chocolate. I like about 70%+ cocoa, and this box was too sweet for my taste. It is very rich though and would make a nice Valentine's Day gift for someone who likes sweeter chocolates. The box was quite expensive. It cost $16.95. My husband and I came in last night. We ran from Dave & Busters just to make it by closing time! They were closing the doors just as we were running up. Everyone was kind and allowed us to shop for a few treats. We purchased an Almond Roca apple and milk chocolate covered Marshmallows. I was hoping for dipped cherries, but they were out. To our surprise, we discovered 4 chocolate covered strawberries in our bag! This was special to us because we were celebrating our 4th anniversary, and the theme is fruit and flowers. The cookies/brownies can be warmed up if you request and I definitely recommend it because they taste way better warmed up. There is a difference between just an English toffee apple and Almond Roca apple. The one that says Almond Roca has no English toffee at all. I am seriously addicted to candy apples. Not all the fancy carmel apples with gazillions of toppings on them, but just plain old candy apples. Rocky Mountain actually has these!!! This is the only place I have been able to find them other than the Fair or those really nasty ones they sell around Halloween at the grocery store. They have them in cherry or cinnamon. Sometimes they have just one or the other and not both but I prefer the traditional cinnamon candy apple. So, these are not the best candy apples in the world. Many times they are too sticky. The candy should be hard, not runny. However, I still eat them anyway, whatever the quality since I am a junkie and cannot imagine life without at least one candy apple a week. I used to have to make my own, and I am pretty lazy so I am glad I discovered Rocky Mountain. I used to have them slice up my apple for me, but I noticed that they don't really clean the knife in between apples and it contaminated my apple with gross carmel apple stuff. So now I eat it whole or take it home and cut it up myself. At this location they also have a slushie machine. I am a big fan of the fruit punch flavor. If you love sugar over chocolate, I recommend both the candy apples and slushies. read more

Every time I walk into one of these I have to grab a different apple just so that I can try them all. At this location I grabbed the Grasshopper.
