Inside you will find a plethora of southern down home decor, mixed with a clean small-town atmosphere. But inside the kitchen they bring the heat. And I do mean spicy!! If your tongue is not so faint of heart please order the green chili on the side. Kind if a niche place. Some would love some would hate. Big portions and good price but food just ok. We saw 2 groups leave when they saw limited menu. We tried calling in a take out order and they would not answer the phone so we go in, 20 minutes before they close and they will not take our order. The service was terribly rude and disrespectful. For being such a small business you would think customer service would be a big deal. Not with these clowns. Not to mention when I finally did get someone to pick up, the phone was answered with "Jesus Rocky Mountain grill what do you want?" A friend and I wanted to experience a new spot for brunch, we initially started out at Pete's off of Bryant and it was closed at 1030am. We found ourselves driving on the service road I-35 and spotted Rocky mountain. From the outside looked like a cozy family owned business. The decor a casual down home atmosphere. The establishment wasn't busy and no one greeted us as we entered, so we found a open table and sat down. The waitress came to table shortly after, asked what we wanted for drinks, dropped menu and briskly walked away. Okay. Menu was for lunch and dinner. When she return we asked for breakfast menu. She stated boldly, we dont serve breakfast after 11am. Oh, sorry is it after 11am, we wanted breakfast. However we continued to look at menu and my friend mentioned cracker barrel is not far, well the waitress took our menus rather quickly and said, yeah go to cracker barrel and walked away. I said to her back as she walked away, have a great day!...lol. I will never return to this establishment. Just wanted to add owner response below, with response unfortunately he never acknowledge my discomfort or the customer service regardless of what he heard, obviously I felt differently. Again, another reason for me not to return. Altho I have no hard feelings, Yelp gives consumer/customer opportunity to express opinions, my desire was to have a pleasant experience no reason for me to be indifferent unless its truth. I had a girlfriend in for the weekend and we decided to grab breakfast before she headed home today. I haven't been to the cafe since it closed and moved. I had only been once prior. I don't remember the menu being so small for breakfast. Very limited on choices. My friend got the smothered burrito. It was huge. She said the salsa was a tiny bit hot, she didn't mind and loved it. Just know if you don't like spice the salsa verde might not be for you. I ordered an omelette. I was disappointed that they didn't have jalapeños on the list of veggies but ended up with an omelette that was tasty. I had the salsa also and thought it was fabulous. I got the sour dough toast. That was probably my most favorite part of the meal. It was fabulous. The restaurant is clean and the wait staff was attentive and friendly. All in all not a bad meal I just wish their menu was a little more varied. read more

Scott, Tammy and Darlene make our Saturday morning breakfasts special. They know what we like and often have it out to us minutes after we arrive. We sometimes go during the week for an early breakfast and appreciate that they can get us in and out before 7 am. Holy smokes! This place has good food at an extremely good price. They are not trying to charge 15$ a plate for breakfast. The wait situation was not great. There is limited space to stand and we had to wait outside in the cold there is no waitlist once you get there you just wait your turn. If I could give a negative I would! Never been here before was in the area thought we would try the owners were repulsive!!! A UPS driver came in and placed a togo order didn't want anything crazy and he was incredibly rude! Then when he left him and his wife were gripping about his order, I ordered a burger basket add bacon and he said to his wife and the server what part of the sign out front said burger basket add anything you want!!! Went here early one morning while in the area. Saw good reviews for the smothered burrito. They weren't wrong. First, it's huge. If you're not a big eater or sharing with someone expect to take it home. The green chili sauce was VERY tasty and even had a little spice to it. I'm glad they had adult sized coffee mugs and not those shot glasses you get at some places. The decor was awesome and well put together. The owner/cook came out and greeted every customer including myself and his regulars (always a good sign). If you're nearby and hungry go get it and pray you're hungry enough! read more

I have tried almost everything on the breakfast menu and love it all; Especially when it's smothered in Scott's special Green Chili Sauce. The breakfast burrito was better than any I've had living in North Carolina, but having spent 27 years in SoCal, there's some great burritos that are double this size. They could use some more cheese inside to bind it all together and perhaps some pico de gallo for my liking. Then the biscuits and gravy, also highly recommended. The biscuits are rather small compared to anywhere in NC, but their sausage gravy was on point! Lots of sausage and plenty of black pepper, no need to add any seasoning to these. Went here for breakfast. Great place for breakfast in Edmond that be overlooked for the more trendy breakfast places. This one is more of the old school diner, but very clean and staff is very friendly and even funny. A pet peeve of mine at breakfast places is that when I ask for eggs over medium and hash browns extra crispy, the eggs come over hard or easy and the browns are not crispy. However, this place happily delivered both requests. The ham steak was not some thicker version of a cold cut either. It was a thick, smokey, and delicious! read more

We stopped here for breakfast in the way to Kansas. Pleasant surprise very very big portions. I can eat a lot and couldn't finish my meal. The prices are crazy cheap. My son got the burrito and it was like 6$ it was about a foot long he couldn't even eat it all. My order can't remember the name of it but it was $9 huge plate of hash browns with meat and eggs over it. It also came with a pancake the size of a large dinner plate insane portions! My wife had the traditional breakfast which was good portions as well. Seems to be a family owned and operated business. They do things right and have a great positive attitude we would eat there again given the chance without a doubt. read more

Loved the green chili here! This is the only green chili that I have had since moving to OK from CO 10 years ago. The coffee mug was large and the coffee was really good. Service was swift and friendly. Place has a nice vibe and everyone was friendly. Definitely worth going to. read more
