Vodka sauce with mozzarella + buffalo chicken slice

This place really hit the spot after a long flight. The crust was crispy and the service was fast. I got two slices: the vodka sauce with mozzarella + a slice of the buffalo chicken. One plus was the spot had space in the back for indoor dining.

Pretty good new york slice around Gramercy. I got the margherita and was not disappointed. Came out to around $4 dollars for the slice. What really stood out to me was the spacious and clean dining area in the back. It's pretty rare to have a place to sit down for a pizza slice spot but I was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely come back here for a quick bite.

Rocky's has Matzo Pizza!!!!!! Sooo good.

Best pizza in the neighborhood. They even have Matzoh pizza for the Jewish Holiday!! Pizza is always fresh and they have tons of varieties to choose from. Their dinners and calzones are also really good. In a neighborhood with a lot of options, this is always my go to for a slice.

Pizza Cheese Ravioli With Vodka Sauce

Came here today for the first time and had the Penne alla vodka and the ravioli pizza. Each slice was about six dollars. Both slices were very rich and heavy. I was struggling to finish them both, because they were so dense. The ravioli on top of the pizza was high-quality and tasted really good . I would recommend eating the topping on top of the pizza with a fork. The service was OK. The ambience was quite superb. There was a young couple on a date and two cute girls out for a late night pizza.

Your average pizza in New York. While more authentic than a handful of pizza places in the city, it is very average. The flavor is decent, not too oily and there are a number of options available. While good, I probably won't remember this place and will choose other pizza places instead of making it a point to return. The service is fast and it's a clean place. Just overall very average. Not too expensive either.

Pizza is sadly nothing amazing. Quite greasy, and they skimp on the sauce big time. I had the vegetable slice- bland, felt left out for the whole day, but the spinach and broccoli were cooked nicely. I also had the buffalo chicken slice and my friend had the pepperoni and plain. Somewhat better but you can get better pizza nearby for less money. Location wise, it's really convenient from NYU hospital. There is a spacious seating area in the back. I come here all the time from work! I probably will come back - but out of convenience and nostalgia.

Came in to grab a quick slice since it was in the NYU Langone hospital area and I'm glad I did. The pizza was fresh and warmed when ordered. It's about $6 a slice but was needed for a pick me up. Good for no frills and great pizza

We had a spectacular meal. Thanks to Rocky's, especially Robert prepared all this dinner for us!! When i tell you, it was delicious and tasty, fresh, it was wonderful. You have to have the rigatoni with Alfredo sauce, the sauce is so delicious makes you wanna eat more and more. Buffalo chicken wings, Caesar salad, garlic knots were also fantastic. We are regulars here, won't stop coming back. You should do the same!!

Popped in to grab a quick slice. The servers were nice and friendly. They heated the pizza up before serving and I asked if they could make it a nice and crispy base - which they did. A cheese slice was $3.50 which felt a bit more expensive than your regular $1 slices. Inflation I guess!

I ordered pizza and wings to go! This was my first time at this establishment and I stopped here on a whim because it was snowing and I wanted something quick. The pizza was pretty good. It's definitely your quintessential NY style pizza. No complaints here. My only issue was the wings, which were under seasoned and not crispy. I got the mild wings which I guess means bbq here because that was the sauce on top of the wings. I happen to like bbq wings but the skin on the wings weren't crispy so the sauce kind of sat on top and made it soggy. I had to put the wings in my oven to get them to my liking. If I'm in the area I again, I am sure I would pick up a slice but I'm definitely skipping the wings next time.

You MUST get their chicken vodka slice!

Looking for good pizza in Murray Hill? Look no further. You must get their chicken vodka slice. It's one of the best slices of pizza I have had in manhattan, and that's coming from a guy that was born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. The chicken is extremely fresh and the vodka sauce isn't too heavy. It's perfect!! Also, their garlic knots are better than most places I have tried.

We also got garlic knots which were awesome also! I enjoyed the sitting at the counter experience and having an ice cold coke with my slice. It was the best snack before my next dinner meal and I cannot complain at all! This is definitely one of my favorite pizza places in NY!

Pizza is ready in 15 minutes, which in my case was less time for me to walk from hotel and pick it up. This location had two storefronts- one for pizza by the slice and the other for the full pie. Full pie line is shorter though still formidable. Line by the slice stretches around the corner. Pizza itself is all right. Toppings are pretty average and crust is chewy as it should be. Little bit too hard on my opinion. As a tourist - it was a must try. However - I wouldn't do it again.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. To start with the good: the arancini were perfectly passable, and the Sicilian pie was enjoyed by all. I would describe it as more of a Detroit style actually, with a super crispy crust and nice textural contrast. On the other hand, we did not enjoy the seasonal vegetable pie or the nepo pie. I generally really like this sort of no-cheese, umami-heavy pizza, but the nepo was so salty! I'm not sure what specific ingredient was missing, but missing it was. My hopes for a recreation of the rossa pie I enjoyed at Farina prior to their closure were dashed. As for the vegetable pie, the vegetables tasted like the frozen veggies one might find in what was once marketed as a "TV dinner". It was a shame, since the sauce of the white pie was otherwise pretty good.

The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
