This is our 1st time here. The place looks nice and clean. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful . We didn't know what to order so I picked something safe which is spinach omelette . Waitress recommend Rodeo potatoes and fried pancake for the sides. My husband ordered chillaquiles with beef. The potion was pretty big.. Let's just say we were already full half way through our meal but we wanted to keep eating because it was so tasty. The flavors were on point. The first plus of the meal was the diet coke, its difficult to find a restaurant/Cafe that includes diet soda and Rodeo has it! Service was very quick, I was seated immediately; the waitress was attentive and received my food in less than 10 minutes. The chilaquiles were crunchy although they could have been a little more spicy, chile was included on the side. Definitely a must try if your in the area or live in the area. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs, biscuits and gravy, with a coffee. My girls the kids waffle and pancake breakfast. I also asked for some spicy house salsa. Everything was seasoned well, pancakes and waffles were very delicious, and the salsa had a descent amount of heat with great flavor. The service was terrific. Very quick to refill coffee, food came out extremely fast. The ambiance is a small cozy restaurant, nicely decorated and very comfortable. At 11:00 AM there's a wait line and reservations being taken. The four of us found shade to wait. About 10 minutes and we were seated. Service was prompt and nice. Great little spot open for breakfast and lunch. The home potatoes are delish! I had the breakfast burrito twice in the same week! Great both times! Comes with home potatoes and refried beans. The beans are really good. My fiancé said the French toast needed cinnamon, but said it tasted okay. Staff friendly and fast. Used to frequent this place weekly, but on our last visit, we noticed a change for the worse. The beans were no longer creamy; more like canned refried beans and the potatoes were hard and charred. Their potatoes were so good. It was drastically different. Not even cut the same. No onions and peppers, just hard quartered of overcooked potatoes. Such a disappointment. The biscuits and gravy were also cold and we arrived at opening. Our server was awesome as usual, but did ask a few times how everything was. I had a feeling she knew things were different. So I came into this place based off of yelp. And the service is excellent! The lady who took care of me is so nice beyond nice. The food came out so fast. I wasn't ready for it. And it taste delicious. The southside of use is best. I've ever tasted for a restaurant. It taste so homemade. So this is like a little place. It must be like a hidden gem. And if you're in the area, I'd highly recommend this place, environment is nice complementary with some nice music playing right now. So clean. The biscuits and gravy were tasty, the omelette was jam packed with meat, cheese and veggies, but those breakfast potatoes...good lawd they are incredible! I remember when the family started off with just the spot in Mira Loma. After going to this location I have to say it's my favorite. They were a full house, and the two waitresses killed it. They were very friendly, brought our food out quickly, and kept our coffees topped off.....heck they even offered us a coffee for the road. I had breakfast this morning at Rodeo Cafe in Rancho Cucamonga for the first time. I had a disturbing experience. A homeless woman covered in filth came in and was picking food off of dirty tables and standing eating. She proceeded to the bus tray near the kitchen and was grabbing food off the plates and eating. Which was completely unsanitary. She then continued to walk around and ask customers if they had left overs for her. The workers poured her a cup of coffee into her nasty cup. I am appalled that the staff would allow this behavior. It was so disgusting to see i lost my appetite. read more

We've been to this place several times now. It has become my go to spot for breakfast in the Rancho/Upland area. The service is great; always friendly, professional and prompt. The food has always been on point; hot, tasty and plentiful. They both Mexican and American cuisine but I strongly recommend the Mexican options. Chilaquiles, Chorizo and eggs , Chili Verde. Great little spot that appears to be busy every time we go. The weekend has become a bit of a wait but I guess that a good sign. Enjoy! read more
