It's an okay place to stay overnight , little worn out. Carpets are old , room is okay , the room layout is lil weird in the sense that there is a kitchen sink and a regular bathroom sink . There was only one chair in the room , would have preferred another . It makes it easier to have food in room . The staff is friendly though . The motel has its own restaurant cum bar which makes it easier to order food . Breakfast was average , they had bread / croissants / potatoes, burgers ( sausage and bacon ) , yoghurt , milk , juice , fruits , cereals and coffee . I would have liked to have some pancakes or waffles . But all in all it was okay for an overnight stay. read more

Overview: faded and needs updating and repairing but clean and has an enjoyable restaurant and bar. Also accepts pets. I can't pretend I wasn't a little disappointed upon arrival. The exterior needs to be pressure washed and there are numerous repairs in the walls that are incomplete (think patches in wall with putty but they never patched the wallpaper). The pillows in our double queen room were small and mismatched. All were lumpy, some fluffed like feather pillows and others simply flattened. The bathroom had the toilet and shower with needed towels but the sink was actually in the main room. There was a second sink by the fridge and coffee pot, making it clear one was for hygiene and the other for dishes or similar. There was a table and lamp between the beds with 2 plugs. By the window was a desk and chair in there was also a large tv. With some effort we managed to turn on YouTube and set it to a dog station while we got dinner. We confirmed that we were permitted to leave our dogs in the room while we were on the premises. We ate at Chadwick's and enjoyed everything. We sat at the bar. I had a pair of lemon drops recommended by the bartender (I think they included rose water simple syrup) and they were delightful. We found the other customers and bartenders congenial company. The food was surprisingly good. I had steak frites with some mighty fine brown gravy and the husband had a cheesy chicken and macaroni dish he enjoyed with such gusto I thought he would lick the bowl clean. They had a green space marked for pets and they had level 2 EV charging available. It was near the freeway. It did the job decently, and if it wasn't so clearly needing a restoration to a better version of itself, I would have an easier time reviewing it. Very nice, comfortable place, love it....BUT...I checked in at approximately 6 p.m. I was requested to produce my license and credit card. at 7:30 pm i Went to the comedy club/bar in the hotel. I ordered 34.00 worth of food and 1 drink. I was charged 38.00. I had left a 10.00 tip in cash. At approximately 9 pm I went back yo my room and did not leave until the following morning. I was heading south to Sacramento California. When I got to Redding to fuel up, I discovered my credit card and license was missing. I called the hotel immediately and no one had turned anything in. I have called several times and nothing came up. No one reported finding a license or credit card. That is all I have to say. read more

They don't do the diner style breakfast anymore, as far as I can tell. Just letting anyone know in case they wanted that. The options for the self serve breakfast were lacking (just bacon, scramble, toast, bagels, yogurt, sealed plastic fruit cups, and 2 kinds of cereal.), though the bacon was fresh and tasty so that's a plus. The staff were really friendly and helpful, so really I can't fault them for anything. Check in and check out were easy, location was good, and the room was clean. I thought it would be nicer than it was and was really looking forward to the breakfast, but I suppose I should have done more research beforehand. read more

We stayed here for a night due to the paid electric chargers - a huge bonus was the complementary diner style breakfast available 7am-noon. Wait staff was very kind, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and reasonably priced for a last minute booking. rogue regency has become my s/o and i's official stop en route to california. this is our second time staying with them -- here are 5 reasons why: 1. pet-friendly with grassy areas AND poop bags nearby for dogs 2. staff are always kind & respectful 3. rooms are clean w/ comfy beds, fridge & coffee 4. lovely indoor pool, jacuzzi & gym area with a water dispenser 5. free yummy breakfast at the coziest restaurant with the sweetest waitresses my only feedback is to give the gym a little upgrade; do a deep cleaning and maybe add a weight rack. but other than that, imo this inn is a hidden gem that reminds you of classic hotels you see in the movies :) read more

We arrived close to 2AM after driving over 6 hours. We had already gone to 3 surrounding hotels, all booked up. The very pleasant woman (I think her name was Tina) couldn't have been more welcoming. She quickly found a king room and even reminded me of the AAA discount. The room was large, clean and most importantly quiet. The bed was very comfortable. If you're passing through or heading to the fair - stay here. We were also given a 20% discount for breakfast at the attached Chadwick's Pub & Grill. The staff works together and is on it. We were seated immediately and coffee was brought right out. I had the house smoked salmon hash. It was delicious. The salmon was lightly smoked, not lox, and the hollandaise sauce was not overwhelming or too rich, it complemented the salmon perfectly. Hubby built a 3 egg omelet with mushrooms, spinach and smoked salmon. The eggs were dry and his salmon was a little more cooked/fried than mine and tasted a bit fishy for our taste (kinda like salmon scraps were used) - he left half the salmon on his plate. He said is wasn't a great omelet but was hearty. Overall, we were pleased with the portions, the food and the service. What a pleasant surprise to find such comfortable accommodations in the wee hours of the morning and delicious food. Our stay at the "Regency" can best be described with a saying we had in Vietnam - it was a Charlie Foxtrot. And that's the polite term. It started off with the checkin. They have two card generators for room keys, one of which was broken and the other broke when they tried to make our keys (the previous checkin got keys). Thus we had no keys and the hotel staff had to escort us and every other patron after us to our rooms for the rest of the day and half of the next. I'm sure it was a pain for the staff to have to escort everyone to the rooms, but that meant WE had to get an escort as well and that was a bigger pain. Tired and a little hungry, we went to the hotel's restaurant and decided to split the special: fajitas (every single day for the week we were there, it was the special, so not so special). Now this isn't a Mexican restaurant, so they didn't even know to serve the tortillas warm. One would think that if you're going to serve a Mexican dish you would know to serve tortillas warm. Two days later, we went down for a full dinner. The noise from the kitchen destroyed any comfort for the evening. A loud, noisy staff yelling back and forth and when the chef finished, he'd yell out "Order up"! It made for a poor dining experience. It was more like a diner, not a restaurant. The "continental breakfast" is a joke. Bagels (ok), donuts and muffins, small buckets of cereal, yogurt (the best part), two breakfast sandwiches and fried potatoes were the menu. No biscuits and gravy, no eggs, no waffles, no pancakes or any other hot food. The usual coffee and apple/orange juices. All in all, a huge disappointment. Back to the card keys. We moved our car to an ADA spot closest to an elevator to our floor. When we tried the card keys, they didn't work. The manager came down and showed us a trick to make it work! It involved stepping around the corner out of range of the reader, then returning to try it again! Really? Not only that, but one time, when my wife tried to EXIT, the door wouldn't open! She was told to wait until there was no one outside the door before trying it again! Odd, since there wasn't anyone there when she tried the first time. When I asked why the card key machine and locks didn't work correctly, we were informed that there is only one service agent for the entire state of Oregon! The one card reader had been down for over a year! Evidently, that company was able to get the card key machine to work properly, but not the doors. I suggested they get a new company. And, last but not least, the internet service went down the day before we left. It was a horrible experience and we won't be going back. read more

It's a mixed bag. Pros: pool, jacuzzi, workout room for cardio mainly, microwave, fridge/freezer in room, good channels on tv, spacious rooms. Cons: MAJOR!!! = HORRIBLE WIFI. Constantly dropping in and out. Can't even watch a clip on YouTube. This is a major problem if you have T-Mobile and have only 2 bars. Minor: Room AC is pretty ass. I set mine to coldest of could go (60) and it was blowing like 68 at best. The food at the bar is probably the worst food I've had in a long time. I ordered two items on two separate occasions and both tasted horrible. It would be such an issue if they weren't overpriced. One was $18 and the other $15. I wouldn't had paid even half that if I knew what they tasted like. read more

Hotel rooms are decent sized and ours was cleaned well. All the amenities were dissapointing to say the least. Tried to eat at the restaurant and sat there for 30 min and no waitress came and we were seated by a bus boy so plenty aware we were there so ended up going elsewhere to eat. Bar closes extremely early and so did pool so by the time we saw our show we couldn't enjoy any of a big part of why we got the room in first place. Food was very highly priced too. Elevators and our entire floor had no AC I guess cuz made ya sweat hot and took forever for room to cool down. Seems to be a little outdated and def a pain just getting to the parking lot itself. The front desk guy that we mostly dealt with/saw was very nice and helped us with a few things we needed like paper plates. Basically the amenities and etc made it hard to give it 3 stars even and prob wont stay again. read more

Once I got to the room there was dry blood on the toilet seat, toilet also made a weird loud noise was not up to pare, crumbs in one of the beds, you have to have the ac on the whole night or the rotten dead smell would be heightened, and I could smell the scent of drugs from 2 doors down. This hotel has gone so far downhill, its old and dated, no longer a breakfast restaurant- just terrible continental carbs and not safe anymore. I was there with my grandkids, and we were in the pool area, a man came in ( he had a key) and began washing his shoes and clothing in the hot tub, it was disgusting, we left and the man began yelling at us " do you have a problem ", I told him that's a hot tub and you should not be washing your shoes/clothes in there" he became aggressive, yelling at me to mind my business and stated " who cares, its chlorinated so what- why don't you go tell a worker on me- they know its ok"- I went to the front desk and they knew who that was stated we will have to tell his caseworker he can't stay here anymore. I checkout early, was supposed to be staying 3 nights- only stayed 1- and was still charged for all 3 nights. I did not feel safe there after that incident. This is an older property that's been better cleaned and maintained than most modern hotels. The rooms were spacious and clean with good toiletries. The restaurant and bar were fantastic. 1st time to Medford and Rogue Regency exceeded my expectations. I would like to thank William at the front desk for being extremely polite and friendly during check-in. William was polite and friendly the entire time while offering insight into local places to visit and things to do in town. Jerome and Lee in Chadwicks pub and grill were very polite and friendly with positive and friendly attitudes. Made the whole experience worth it and a place to visit and recommend for anyone visiting Medford. Look forward to seeing them again in a few weeks during my return trip. read more

I stayed here with my friend and he left before I did, but I was booted out by cops because apparently that's what they do here in Medford, instead of trying to wake you up to leave at check out. At that point you're treated like a second class citizen. Worst experience ever. read more

**Debbie did an awesome job getting everyone seated and served for Thanksgiving Breakfast, She was by herself for some time. She was very pleasant under the circumstances, friendly and our food was very, very good. She deserves a raise; you should be ashamed of yourselves not having more servers on board that day. The A/C unit/heat cycled every 30 seconds not allowing us to sleep well at all. There was a very large draft coming in from the ac installation, not to mention a small light from the unit (how in the word are you suppose to sleep with this light shining all night long, that's not the only light either. We had car trouble while passing through Medford. My car was being worked on and wasn't fixable till the next day. We were recommended this Hotel. This hotel gave us a great military and Federal employee discount! While staying at this hotel they picked us up from the dealership and took us anywhere we wanted within the town, and also picked us up from wherever we were and brought us back to the hotel. Within the hotel is a great restaurant and bar. Prices for food and drinks were great! The staff were very helpful and so polite. We felt very welcomed here and all our needs were met and then some. The rooms were great. The beds in the room were soooo comfortable, I had the best night of sleep in a long time. All staff were amazing! Definitely stay here if you can! We will stay here again if we are ever here in Medford. read more

This is an older hotel that is likely deferring maintenance because it is in a smaller market. In general the hotel can be pleasant if: 1. you are a consumer who doesn't require a modern look to the hotel or the actual room. 2. you are not sensitive to noise due to rooms being frequently connected in suite style configurations and the hallway doors being somewhat unhelpful in muffling noise. 3. you are not super creeped out by a few bugs. I believe the rooms are be aired out between guests and i think there are no screens and/or the ac units can pull from an area near bushes and landscaping. This brings a few random bugs into the room. They are outside bugs like you'd see by a light fixture at night, absolutely not anything worrisome. 4. If you don't need free breakfast. If these things bother you, don't go. But if you like the amenities, need a room fridge and microwave, if you can get a deal, etc. it's a perfectly serviceable hotel. But labeling it a 3 star hotel (not 3/5 stars on yelp but a hospitality 3 star hotel) really isn't accurate and can make the consumer's expectations surpass this hotel's ability to provide a satisfying stay. I paid roughly 93 dollars for my room and feel like it was fair considering quality. At regular price there are better options. read more

The reviews aren't really updated for this hotel. The only thing we liked here was being inside the room and then we had the pool to ourselves. There was a lot of foot traffic in & out of the hotel. Locked doors were constantly proped open allowing anyone to enter. Uncomfortable activity seemed to be going on. Plenty of homeless hanging out between the parking and coming in the proped open doors that are supposed to be locked and make you feel safe. I did bring it up to the woman at the front desk that doors were being proped open with rocks and objects and she told me they had to lay off due to covid, but that left a huge lack in their security. There was always people hanging out by the doors when we would take the dog out, go out to eat or come back from eating. It was not comfortable to even allow the kids to run out to the car to grab anything they may have left behind and we have teens! People sleeping in their cars at the back of the parking lot.. Honestly, they need to enforce the doors staying shut and need to remove the negative activity off the property. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Rooms were clean. They had a pool/hot tub available if there was an available time slot. Due to covid, only 1 family at a time per 45 min at the pool... that part was nice. read more

Incredibly rude staff. There's absolutely nothing working, the pool was drained, and the soda machines were all buggy or plain out of service. They claim free breakfast but what they don't tell you about is the MANDATORY 20% gratuity not included. This wouldn't be a big deal however the servers and employees are mean and pushy about it. We tried to get some room service breakfast and weren't able to finish the order before the employee cut us off and said they'd call back, they never did call back and instead the food we ordered arrived, but as stated before we wanted to continue our order! With half an order and no drinks the soda machine was our best bet which were all broken. This place wants to act like it's fancy but in reality it is a posh, rude, selfish, money hungry place where you'd rather spend a half hour walking around finding a good working soda machine than talk to the disrespectful and rude staff. This is the best hotel in town. The service has improved since my last visit 6 years ago. Hospitality was excellent. From the front staff, the driver, the pool guy and the waiters, everyone was very professional and friendly. Pro tip: If you need a ride to the airport, just let the front staff know. They will arrange for someone to get you to the airport on time. The food has improved too. This hotel has two dining areas. One is the Regency Grill and the other is Chadwick's Pub. We had 3 breakfasts and 2 dinners at the Regency Grill and the food was much better. Fresh fruit is now an option and they let me switch out my hash browns and pancakes for a cup of fruit. K's hash brown was crispy brown and not soaked in oil. The cottage cheese was fresh. Their mushroom omelet had tender mushrooms and spinach mixed in. The salmon salad had soft medium rare pieces of salmon in a light slightly sour raspberry vinaigrette. The walnuts were plentiful and crispy. When we ordered salmon, the salmon was perfect. Medium rare, seared on the outside, tender flakey pink salmon on the inside. Perfectly crisp asparagus and succulent salad under the salmon. The Beer Battered fish and chips had tender flakey fish in a light batter. It was very good. I would not recommend the minestrone soup or the clams and mussels in tomatoes sauce. Both the soup and the sauce were over salted. Their hot tub is open from 6am-10pm. Go sit and relax in bubbling hot water. It was wonderful to sit in the bubbles and feel my muscles melt. It was wonderful. I just wish that the hot tub hours lasted until 12am. Pro Tip: Make sure you know how to swim! There is no lifeguard for the pool area. So the only reason this hotel doesn't get 5 stars is the dirty towel and comforter. One corner of the white comforter had a thumb sized brown stain. And one white towel had a reddish brown stain on the edge. Tip: Look at your bedding and towels before using them! read more

I loved staying at this hotel last June. It was a great location with a nice restaurant and bar that even the locals seemed to frequent. The room was great and the overall feel of the place relaxed. It has central air which was important on the days we were there as it was in the 90's in June. We used the hotel as our home base to check out Crater Lake (it was 80 up there the day we were there). And Jacksonville a neat historic town. I'll be back here again. read more

When I tried to connect to the WiFi using the instructions in their brochure, the network name and password were incorrect and I never got connected. But if you have the lowest toilets in the world, you need to install a grab bar so people can get up! read more
