While on vacation decided to check out some of the local restaurants near by. We stopped at this establishment because it looked like a neighborhood restaurant and my granddaughter wanted pizza. Definitely a little hole in the wall kind of place but with a huge personality. You get greeted immediately upon entering and you see and sense all the hustle and bustle behind the scene. We ordered pizza, pasta and their garlic bread. Everything was delicious. So much so that we had it twice in one week. If we find ourselves in that neck of the woods again, I know where I'm going for pizza.

Order a pizza with garlic knots. The driver was an hour late and as a result, the food was cold. What's even worst, they burnt the pizza crusts. The garlic knots were stale as well. I just wanted good pizza. Looks like this was the wrong place. Never order from them again.

This pizza hit the spot! I usually go for what I would consider 'lighter' pizzas (something with veggies) but this was a winner. The crust is between thin and regular which I appreciated...it had a chewiness that was nice. The pops of fresh tomatoes tied the flavors of the proteins all together. I added some truffle hot sauce I had at home and that was excellent. Would definitely order again!

We finally tried the pizza. And a gyro. And some wings (yes, the quarantine 15 is REAL). We had the Romano's Special Pizza (meatball, sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms and green peppers). I didn't love the thick crust but the rest of the pizza, including the ample amount of toppings made up for that fact. The gyro was surprisingly good for a pizza spot. On the other hand, the wings were not that good. They are heavily breaded, so it tastes more like you're eating buffalo-flavored breading instead of actual chicken. With so many different pizzas to choose from, we will definitely order again. Still have yet to try the sandwiches so that will be next!

OK I'll start off with the pizza (obviously) I mean it's decent not definitely not worth the price of five bucks per slice. Their ingredients are usually fresh and the pizza stays OK for like two days. also have some desserts in the soda fridge. I mean for warming up pizza in an oven takes a lot of time servers usually friendly there's a credit card fee. Places is pretty small. We're having so many options and it does stay open until 1 AM. Has a couple of chairs and a little bit of space of dine in, but I think it's mostly meant for takeout. Has a nice vibe though.

Romano Pizza makes the best Artichoke and Spinach pizza of all time. So much flavor - I'm obsessed! Also love their bacon chicken ranch pizza, wings, and chicken tenders. This is the only place we will order pizza delivery from - no other place in the Weehawken area compares. I am so glad they are still open for delivery right now! As always, delivery is fast and they never mess up an order.

Ordered a pepporoni pie but once the order came it looked like a cheese pie. They must've taken an old pie and just covered it with cheese. It was absolutely disgusting. Who puts the pepporoni under the cheese? Stay away and order from somewhere else. Lazy business here. read more

The guy was trying to argue with me that there is such a thing as a credit card minimum. That's illegal, so not sure why he kept on going. Then he proceeded to charge me more than their minimum for something that wasn't even as high as the minimum so I'm never coming back thanks Hey Sam, Not entirely accurate. What sodas?? I got dismissal(and two slices), not sodas. Also, your cashier cancelled my order(voided the charge), not me. Maybe he didn't relay the full truth to you. Not sure... Not trying to rip you guys off buddy. Just not trying to get charged for something I never received. Let me know if you agree. TS read more

What a fantastic pizza place to eat from. I ordered a margarita pizza and Hawaiian pizza, they were so delicious. Also, the Loevito salad was good and looks fresh and the chicken Francis dinner was a super delicious dinner.the delivery came fast. Very nice customer service and happy to live near by Romano pizza. Was in town for a trade show and craving pizza. Being a celiac, it's hard to find a good place that isn't gross or mediocre. Not only do they offer fresh gluten free crust, they were extremely helpful and friendly about my allergy issues. Pizza was fantastic and can only imagine how good the regular crust would be. Since it is done fresh it took a few minutes to have it ready, but not a long wait at all in my estimation and totally worth it! They even came out to check and make sure everything turned out ok. Definitely stopping by again the next time I'm in town. read more

Not many places deliver late and are open till 2am on weekends - but romano delivers on everything including very delicious food. The pizzas are very good ( the greek salad with grilled chicken rocks), their pastas and salads are excellent, and even their burger and fries arrive at your doorstep fresh without a hint of sogginess. We order here often as its convenient and it hardly ever disappoints. read more

My boyfriend and I really enjoy ordering from here. We always get our food quickly delivered and it is always hot and fresh! Also, the prices are amazing considering the portions given. However, the three times I have ordered penne pesto, it has been very greasy and therefore I am not able to reheat it at all because of the amount of oil it has. GLUTEN FREE PEOPLE: Romano has the best gluten free pizza in the area! This simple pizza joint has it down, the crust is crispy and tastes great. It is awesome to go to a place that doesn't think of the gluten free as an afterthought. ALSO, you've got to check out their gluten free meatballs (served with a piping hot piece of gf bread on the side) it is perfect for a quick lunch. The go to spot pizza place in the area! Most pizza places in this area doesn't meet up to standards in my opinion. They are open late everyday which is a plus and everyone working there is friendly. They have plenty of special slices to choose from as well. My favorite is chicken bacon ranch slice if I had to choose one but I'd eat basically any slice they have! read more

Friendly staff and always on point with their food. Parents live a block away and whenever I visit them I make sure to grab food from there even if it's just a slice. Doesn't look like much from the front but def worth it. Nice thin crispy slices reasonably priced read more

I've been eating pizza from Romano for a few years now, and their pizza just continues to get better. Tonight I ordered a grandma pizza with shrimp and a margarita pizza and it was the best ever!! I even called to thank the cook. If only I could eat Romano every day lol. The owner is also amazing. He remembers his customers and his staff is always pleasant. This is the spot you'd drive a few towns over to grab a pie. read more

THE WORST SERVICE!!! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I am a repeated customer and with every new order the service continues to get worse. They take 2 hours to deliver food. Food is sometimes missing key components. Customer service is terrible, the man you speak to at night has no education or people skills. This is NOT pizza. After waiting for an hour to arrive, pizza comes COLD. The pizza dough is not homemade, very sweet taste. This was more like a CHEWY, Cheese RUBBER disk. I threw the rest to the trash. This is NOT pizza worth eating nonetheless worth paying money. I wanted to give this place a try since its prices are a bit lower than other restaurants in the area. The delivery guy was super nice. The rest of the experience was terrible. Thursday night in-town delivery took 75 minutes and the pizza was super greesy and the cheese was falling off. Mozzarella sticks were burnt and tasted like old fry oil. Hopefully it was host an off night but I will never order from here again. read more

This is by far the best thing that has happened to Weehawken since forever. Ever since this place opened up i have eaten more pizza in the last few months then i have eaten over my entire lifetime. I explained that traditionally sausage, pepper, and onion pizza comes with green peppers, but she argued that they have many different kinds of peppers. Rather than working with us, the interaction felt more like an argument. Mistakes happen, but good service is about how you handle them. Unfortunately, despite the great wings, the service left us disappointed.

My only complaint is the 3% mandatory card-processing fee (which at least is prominently displayed). there's this neurotic loud vulgar fool who works for this place, and is often outside the store,who sounds as if he has a Brazilian[Portuguese accent,as opposed to being from portugal]. i think that he may be a delivery guy. he's often on a cell standing by a scouter,and he's just very unpleasant to walk by. i don't feel like walking by this place let alone going in. that all said,the pizza has been pretty good the 3 or 4 times that i've bought it..... a one star demerit because of the aforementioned clown. read more

Ordered a Margarita pizza. Friendly on the phone and friendly delivery driver. Delivery time was ok. However, the pizza was delivered cold and tasted meh. The basil leaves were black and the sauce looked brown as if it was old (if there is such a thing). I ended up dipping my slices in spaghetti sauce I had at home to make it more appetizing. Can I give 10 stars?? My family and I are visiting NJ and found this pizzeria by chance. I'm gluten free and seeing that they had tons of gluten free options I was excited. This is THE BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD!!! I thank everyone who works there for taking such good care of us gluten free people. They're just a couple of blocks from my apartment and ever since trying them out, I've been back at least 3 other times. The owners are very friendly, they care about their products, and the food has always tasted great. It's obvious to me that they work really hard and deserve a good review. And if you're looking for vegan or gluten free, this is your spot! They're also open till late which is a huge plus for me! After 3-4 days we followed up and called the restaurant again, and again the guy from Paisano's is saying he will "call back tomorrow". I don't even care that much about the money, it's just the principle of the matter. We've been ordering from this place for years and I can promise I never will again after this. You guys just lost a customer, hope it was worth the 40 bucks.
