we get romeos atleast once a month, sometimes 2 or 3. Its my favorite, love the sauce, its always hot. I get thin crust, ( if you dont order thin, they automatically give you hand tossed) pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese. Its the best! Ive tried a few specialty pizza's, and there good to. they honor expired coupons, have online coupons and Ive called in orders with out a coupon and they still give me the better price, The guys are super friendly, and they are always buzy, I usually pick ours up. read more

I like this place, I do. I plan on continuing to give them my business, even if my service may degrade because of this review, but damn, get your shit together. Had to call in an hour and a half after I placed an online order that hadn't been delivered, was told a woman had called in and changed the order to a pickup order. I was even asked if an ex girlfriend could have done something. FFS I'm a single loser and have been for years and I'm the only person who could have had any idea I was ordering pizza. Either someone fucked up and didn't want to fess up, or the store in general fucked up and nobody wanted to fess up. Finally got my food, and the jalapeno poppers are swimming in some sauce I didn't order and taste like garbage, so there's five bucks out the window, which I understand was just an accident, and accidents do happen when food is delivered, but still really disappointing. Food is greasy, tasty, and relatively cheap, but christ, up your game and check with the original number or something when someone random with a completely different area code from the original calls in to change a number, in-shop dudes, or just double check that the order numbers are right. read more

Terrible experience twice! Ordered a simple Antipasto salad with Italian dressing and no tomatoes. They delivered a chef salad with creamy Italian dressing and tomatoes. I made them aware of the mistake, and 40 minutes later they finally delivered an Antipasto salad with tomatoes and the wrong dressing. The pizza is not good and overpriced, so I feel really ripped off. This was a second and last chance. The last time I ordered from the same place, they charged me for items I never received. read more

I highly recommend their great ranch and potato pizza. It came with Italian sausage, caramelized onion, red potatoes, cheese, and ranch flavored almond. It was really unique and delicious. At one point, I was somehow addicted to it. Romeo's sauce is on the sweeter side, which is to my liking. I am glad that their pizza is not greasy too. Margherita pizza was also one of my favorites. Their tomatoes sauce with a swirl of basil pesto...such noms! I personally won't recommend their breadsticks though - tried it before but wasn't quite a fan. I went to the Romeo's Pizza on Kings Canyon to get a sandwich and a pizza to go I called ahead and ordered it with light sauce because my uncle has kidney disease and you can't have a lot of that. The pizza they gave me was made by the manager owner whatever is the gray hair guy and it had regular amount of sauce and he didn't wear gloves. I told them I didn't want to accept that pizza because he didn't wear gloves and I ordered it with light sauce. The girl took it back unexplained my dilemma. The owner manager whoever he is told her to put it to the side so she did. He already had three pizzas prepared which sauce and some cheese on them and then he would pass it to the girl to finish it up. There were three of them already prepared like that so he stepped away and the girl continued to make the pizza on the crust that he already prepared. They made me a new pizza out of one of those crusts then tried to give me that. I refuse that went to because it was still crust that he had handled without gloves. He then asked her which one it was that I had started with and tried to give me that one again. I still refused unexplained my uncle's condition not to mention we're in the middle of a covid-19 crisis. He told me that it was not one that he had prepared and that he could show me a video. I am formed him that I could see perfectly fine from where I was standing and I didn't want that pizza. He refused to give me a different one so I inform them that I would never come back and I took that pizza home and threw it in the trash. After that I went to the Environmental Health Website look at the current rules of food handling that you are supposed to wear gloves because it's not a pizza that is cooked but it's a pizza that's been prepared to take home and then I filed a complaint. The girls that work there have always been great they're polite courteous and clean. I stopped going to the store at Cedar and shields because every time I went there and he was inside there he was always constantly giving the girls a hard time and being a jerk in general. The sandwich was not good either there was very little cheese very little mayonnaise and the lettuce was wilted there also was very little meat. The one star is because I had to leave a star and also because I feel sorry for the poor girls that work there. read more

I order from this location quite a bit, and they do a fantastic job. Great pizza, the Chicago deep dish is not quite authentic, but it is soooooo good. Their sauce is what does it, best pizza sauce around imo. The taco pizza is really good too, but I think they took it off the menu :-( Everything I've ever had from Romeos has been delicious, they are my favorite place to get delivery pizza by far. We get it delivered a lot and our pizza always arrives in a timely manner and it's still hot! That says a lot especially when you are having your pizza delivered. Very poor choice any way I look at it. Ordered a pep & mushroom and I couldn't taste the mushrooms at all, the pepperoni was very space and so was the sauce & cheese. If you like crusty tasting pizza this is for you. I have a good friend that grew up with the founder of this franchise in Cleveland and we would always get this pizza when in Cleveland. It was great. Wow!!! What a huge disappointment now. The only one happy with this pizza was my dog. Won't ever order from here again. They were not cheap either. Can't say enough how bad this pizza is. Honestly, I have no idea what the food tastes like, because I placed an online order at 1100 and received a call at 1130 that they no longer carry the menu item I ordered (pasta). I ordered delivery, had proof of an email received order...called an hour later and was told the order was never received, yet my card was charged. I was told "it must be a problem with my bank." Yep, must be my bank that charged me for y'all being too lazy to deliver an order placed well before close. If that's the case, MAYBE put a cutoff time on delivery orders? Our family loves this pizza but the service is terrible. We order ~2 pizzas/week and this evening I called and ordered their large special for $11.99 that they have had for months and months. I was told that they weren't running this special any longer. I relayed that if they could not give me the special, then I wouldn't get our pizza there but would go elsewhere and was told to "feel free". I love romeos pizza! We ordered it again tonight, I almost always get, x-large, extra cheese, pepperoni and sausage, on thin crust. Love the dipping sauce too. We also got a steak sub this time, and my husband liked it. I've had pizza on two very separate occasions from this Romeos location (like, a year or more separated the two experiences). I used to love the prior tenant of this pizza place (Minuteman). When Romeos took over this location I tried it with my family and we all thought it was way below average. The crust (their standard, supposedly award-winning variety) was doughy and tasted undercooked and the toppings did not taste fresh. Given the great reviews of Romeos elsewhere decided to give it another chance and ordered again recently from them. Ordered a couple of their new international pizza selections and everyone in the family was very disappointed. Once again, both pizzas featured their traditional crust which I've come to realize means doughy, soggy and undercooked. The toppings are not quite up to par and the cheese wasn't even completely melted. It seems like they rush them through the oven. Perhaps the way to go would be to order them "well-done" but that seems a little silly at a pizza place that's supposed to be an award-recipient. I just don't see the appeal here, Massey's it is for us! read more
