I used to go to Romeo's quite a bit a few years ago, but this time was probably one of my worst pizza experiences at any Columbus shop I've ordered from. I ordered a medium traditional New York white and added mushrooms and sausage, and have a couple problems. 1. The pizza was a small 2. The pizza was cold, even though this location is less than 5 minutes walking distance 3. The pizza was $17 4. Delivery took over an hour 5. Garlic sauce is dry I ordered delivery for the convenience having just returned from being out of town for the holidays. Even if my delivery was the last before the delivery driver returned to the store, either keep the pizzas hot or don't schedule so many deliveries. The best thing I can say about this is that it is at least better than Papa John's. I think I'll stick to Jet's from now on, this was so disappointing.

My fellow coworkers rave about this place. So i was curious and wanted to give it a try.. Being a frequent visitor at the taste of Chicago festival has ruined pizza for me especially living here in Columbus... my level of expectation of what a good pizza seems to be pretty different..... So I ordered the butcher and added jalepenos for an addition $2+ which I only literally got 14 thinly slices that was just dropped on top of what they gave me... pizza sauce seems a little too sweet for me but the Capone sauce wasn't bad.. 20 for a large is overpriced for the quality better off going to little Caesar's same quality but you will be saving much more..

Love the taste of their mildly sweet yet savory pizza sauce. A taste that satisfies the most particular pizza lover.

The recipe seems to have changed and it's not as good as it used to be. Such a bummer because it used to be our favorite.

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

We came to Grandview Theater to try Fibonacci's pizza while seeing the new Michael Jackson movie…read more We ordered a pizza and one of their sandwiches, which is made using the pizza dough. The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

I tried half of the Licensed to Dill which was just okay. Pickles on pizza isn't really my thing. Pesto on pizza wasn't really my thing either, but having half of a an Ecto Pesto changed my mind. Perhaps the chicken and bacon on the pie was what I really liked, but the point is that it all came together surprisingly well. It definitely gave me hope for the more meat-heavy pizza options that I tend to prefer.

It's a bar with a movie theatre and pizza place attached? Or is it a theatre with a pizza place and bar? Who knows?

You ever walk into a place and think, there's no way something special is hiding in here?…read more Yeah....That was me. An old tavern in Columbus. Dim. Historic. The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.
