Yesterday I was making the drive from San Diego to La Quinta and due to the cold weather, my tire pressure was low. I stopped at a do-it-yourself place and the air pump removed air instead of adding it. So, the guy at the station said to try Ramona Tire & Service. The guy there greeted me in a friendly manner, said "no problem!" and proceeded to top off my tires, no questions asked. Even better, he tried to refuse the $20 I wanted to give him and only gave in when I told him to use it buy doughnuts for the rest of the guys. THAT is great service, and so rare these days. I bring both my cars here for tires and oil changes. I use to get my tires at Costco, but the last time on each of my cars Costco would have had to special order my tire size. Ramona had my tires in stock. I have lifetime rotation, balance, and alignment. It's nice to get that at every 5000 miles. I have had good luck with their tires. My Hyundai is my commuter that puts up a ton of miles and my GMC has driven across the country many times. I would say give them a shot! read more

It's never a good time for your breaks to go out on you but specially at Christmas. That's exactly what happened to me, so I found myself here and dreading The cost. While it's never cheap, it was better than I expected because I ended up needing front and back brakes. My husband and I have been going here for years. A month ago, I recently had issues with my front passenger-side tire and Don took care of me. They were so busy; The fact of the matter is that they are always busy which says a lot about the service. They couldn't fit me in to inspect my tire that day but one of the guys put my spare on and ask if I could come back the next day. It's rare that you find great customer service. Made an appt for oil change at 0900 and drop off my car at 0830. Around 1130 I called the shop and they told me my car is next, that's almost 3 hours. At around 1145 the shop called me and informing me that they cannot perform oil change because my car is low and there's no way they can do the oil change. Wasted my valuable time and my wife going back and forth to their shop. these guys doesn't care about customer time. This is my last time I'm going to this shop. No customer service and no respect to somebody's time. Poor management. They don't deserve even a dot to this review. read more

He offered the best recommendations at a reasonable price for changing my tires (old tire had bubbles) and oil change. Additionally, he accommodated all of my needs by transferring the correct tire sizes to this store and provided an accurate time frame for when my vehicle would be finished. I purchased my tires from Romona Tire 40385 Winchester Rd Temecula in 2019. The tires did not last the 60,000 Mile warranty. I need new tires. Romona tire on the phone today said, because I did not purchase the road hazard at the time when I bought the tires they would not rebate me any money toward another set of tires. Also my driving could affect the the mileage of the tires I was told, also to contact Good yr, as they would not do anything to help. The same tire I was quoted at Ramona tire was $212. I contacted America's Tire at 408885 Winchester Rd in Temecula. Phone 951-296-5350 spoke to Oscar, very helpful man, quoted me same tire for $195 and applied the Goodyr special. brought my tire price down to $167.5 Also I was told BY American Tire that I could have my tire rotated free from them. I tried 3 times to get my tires rotated, having to find an other place to rotate them. Fist time I was told we don't have anybody now, because of Covid, the 2nd, and 3rd times I was told to leave my car, and they would get to it later in the late afternoon. I'm to sit their all day for a tire rotation. I tried to make appointment but was told first come first serve. I will never use this place again. I feel it's because I'm a older senior women Ramona tire gave me the run around. Oscar, at America's Tire said it was best if I drop off my car to have someone pick me up so I didn't have to wait. From my wife's Toyota Prius, My Acura TLX, our son's Honda Civic or our Nissan Titan, They have serviced them all without hassle. Brakes, struts, oil changes, alignment, or air conditioning, these guys have done them all in a professional and courtesy manner. Even when things were worse than I thought about a repair needed, they broke down the situation and "Triaged" the vehicles needs based upon my budget. They have never pushed something that was never needed or tried to up-sell me on anything. Their courtesy shuttle made waiting at home easy! I get were in there middle of a pandemic, but my dad dropped off his truck at 10-10:30am for an alignment was told it would be don't buy 4:30pm. 4:30pm comes around he goes to pick up his truck and it's parked in the same exact spot he left it, the guy tells him another 30min to 1 hour funny how quick you want to do it when you already had a good 6-7 hours. I went in to Ramona Tire early in the morning. Only a few people there. I was helped right away by a dude who asked me what I came in for. He found out that I needed tires and referred me to another dude- Scott. I told Scott what I was looking for on my 67 Cadillac. I had done a lot of online research and found something that I thought I would like. Scott discussed the options I had and actually recommended something less expensive and gave me several reasons why these tires would be good for my car. I decided to trust Scott's opinion. Since I was saving about $500 due to his tire recommendation, I had them do the shocks too. These guys were awesome. They treated my old sled with care and made sure everything was right, even changing out tires and going down a size when they saw the tires I picked rubbed just a touch. Over the past year or so I've been taking 4 different family cars to Ramona tire in Temecula Ca. I've gone in so stressed out, and just walked in a told them to fix it! Times i couldn't function and they just treated me like family, but today, i sent my daughter in for a nail in tire, and they checked her van out and found the the rear suspension bolts and nuts were 1 drive away from falling off. My daughter Carries 6 of my grandkids in that van and my other daughter also. Today I have tears of joy and praise for this wonderful crew and probably saved my families lives. Thanks Saul, For such and awesome carrying crew. I call myself the pain in the rear lady to them, and they just laugh at me. Give me hugs when I was crying and takes care of us all. Worked fast to get me on the road many times and even gone out of their way to come pick me up while I was in the middle of the last day of moving and had no car to get the van home. Scott and the staff here are amazing. I've been going to them since late last year with some of the most random and odd service requests. They have never bat an eye, and have gone above and beyond to assist me and figure out my car's issues. They are extremely reasonable and very competitively priced - they never try to sell you something you don't need and are upfront with their analyses. For example, my previous car had an issue where it stalls out and loses traction/dies every half mile to 2 miles. Sal took a look at it and let me know that it would be about $1300 for repairs with a 60% chance of actually fixing the issue ... He didn't try to push me into buying anything and let me decide the next step. I have since then scrapped that family car and bought the first car in my name, which I brought to Scott today to have checked out since it is a used vehicle, and will continue to bring to them for all future services. They're good, honest people and like family. I love stopping in because I know the service and people will be great. Definitely check them out. read more

The 2nd star is only because they gave me a better deal than from another tire shop. I brought my car in for a 4 new tire deal a month ago. They were able to undercut the deal from another tire shop but when they changed the tires I was told," They didn't run the car after the alignment like they usually do" by my mother. They also made her wait 6 hours when they originally said 2. We arrived at 8:00 it was supposed to be done at 10:00 they weren't finished until 2:30 !! We take the car back home and the alignment is so off I can merge into the next lane with ease. We call and take the car back and they fix the alignment, it was quicker this time but it still shifts slightly to the left. Then I notice the tire balance is off because above 60 mph the steering wheel shakes so much it's hard to control the vehicle so I called Saturday and they told me if I bring it in at 8:00 Monday we will begin working on it right away. I make the effort to get there on time and as I'm explaining to the employee at the front desk what the other employee told me, he tells me that it will take several hours because there are 6+ cars in front of me yet there were 4/6 garage slots open. Harsh attitude and very defensive, the employee was insisting we leave the car and take a shuttle back home. I have an injury, I can't stand or sit for a long time and I made that very clear. It's always something, you'd think for a great deal you'll have everything taken of! It takes a lot for me to write a negative review, I always give my respect and understand businesses take time but this is ridiculous. They have new management here and it shows. I brought my car in after closing last night. they were very friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. I had tires put on at another shop and I felt like something was wrong. I had asked that shop to look at it and they said there wasn't anything wrong. Miguel and the other tech said they'd find the problem and call me in the a.m. At 9 a.m., Miguel called me and told me he drove me car and heard the noise I was complaining about and felt the bumpiness as well. I had also asked them to check the brakes because the wheel was shaking when I hit the brakes at higher speeds. He told me the rotors and drums had some hot spots. I figured he would try and sell me new rotors and drums and brake pads and braced for it. Nope. He said they would just turn them for me and the pads were fine. When I picked up the car, he told me that the other shop had inflated all four tires incorrectly and the tires were not properly balanced. As an added touch, he said one of my hubcaps had broken, so they bought new ones for me and installed them for no charge. The van is now handling fantastically and they even fixed the mistake Just Tires in Perris made. They made recommendations for two more things that need to be done but when i told them I didn't have the money right now, they gave me a timeframe in which they would suggest I get it taken care of and didn't try to pressure me at all. They called & said my rear brakes & rotors needed to be done IMMEDIATELY & it "wasn't safe to drive". Told me it was "metal to metal" (I hadn't heard ANY squeaks at all)... they quoted me for $335...... My dad used to be a mechanic so I said "No thanks" & took it to him the next day. The breaks were FINE, rotors were FINE, I had at least enough pad to go another 20K miles. I'll never go there again, what if you go for an oil change & they decide to CREATE a problem for you just to get the sale???!!! They are CRIMINAL ASSHOLES read more

Has a more of a "I want to sell you" feel vs "I want to help you" when I first visited this location. Needed to go back for a lifetime alignment that I already paid for, so I set up an appointment using their super easy online reservation system, but wait... DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I set up it up an entire week early and no one ever contacted me to confirm, as the confirmation email stated. When I called the day before to see why no one called me, all I got was, "Oh...I never got an email". Really? It's 2015. And the story continues... I HAD to go here because I already paid for a lifetime alignment. The employee says I have 6 alignments ahead of me(a 3 hour wait). I show the employee my confirmation email, explain what happened, and he says, "well that's odd, because we don't do appointments on weekends". (uh, so no appt necessary on busy weekends, but you can set one up during a quiet weekday. I'm calling B. S. for this excuse) "well the system allowed me to do it it and no one had the courtesy to let me know this couldn't be done " " yeah sorry about that " " can you do something about having me taken care of sooner? " " well, you can have it done fast, or done right. " " how about we get it done fast AND right? ' "you can't have to it both ways " " I can't, hmmmm, alright then. Get me in line, and I'll wait. " then I whip out my phone to write this review. There's another location in Redhawk. I don't know how good it is, but anywhere else is better than this place. read more

I wish there were a "0" star rating. I usually don't take time to write reviews, however, I feel with my experience here at Ramona Tire, maybe I can prevent someone from wasting their time and money here. So, today, my husband and I take my vehicle in SOLEY for a tire rotation and balance. That is all we discussed with the service writer. He quoted U.S. $9.99 per tire. He told us it would be about two hours due to it being lunch time. We were ok with this and left the car with them and went to have a lunch and to the mall. When we returned, he told us we needed rear struts and new tires soon and then told me my total was $31.88. I questioned that because I was estimating it to be around $45.00. He just said, "yep, that's it". When we got to our vehicle, I looked at the receipt and saw we were charged for an oil change. (With a synthetic BLEND oil....my car has ALWAYS had FULL synthetic in it, as we change our own oil). My husband inspected the very dusty rims and there seemed to be no signs that the tires had been off. He went in and spoke with the same service writer and he said, "oh, I thought she said she wanted an oil change? And the tire rotation and balance comes free with the oil change." I will be contacting the management as soon as I get off of here. I am so mad that 3 hours of my day off were wasted (now I'm at another place getting my tires rotated and balanced) AND some cheap blend oil was used in my car. Do yourself a favor and do not come here. Update: So the tires weren't ever removed from my car at Ramona when we initially went in for the rotate and balance. The second place we went to, rotated and balanced them for $34.95. The tires were unbalanced quite a bit and weights had to be added. They informed me that thee tires had not been removed for a long time. I drove straight back to Romona Tire when I left the second place. I talked to Joey, the store manager. He was very apologetic and did everything he could to make things right. My car was taken back in their shop and FULL synthetic oil was placed in my car as well as a new oil filter and they refunded the 34.95 I paid to have my tires rotated at the second shop we went to. The next day, I received a call from the Regional manager making sure I was happy and to apologize as well. I have updated my rating to a three. I was still out 3 hours on my day off and paid $31.00 to them for a rotate and balance that I never received from them. However, they did make things a little better and I appreciate that effort. read more

He, personally, assisted me with installing some light bulbs and truly stepped up and went beyond what was expected. I herd that both the Ramona Tire stores were well priced with quality service. I went to the one off of Vio Rio and it was a good store but I later had herd the one off Winchester was the place to go. They not only beat America's tire quote they left an air freshener and water in my car! They have great customer service, quality you can count on, and there prices are unbeatable.
