On June 3rd about 4:30 as i was attempting to get my new tires mounted on my; an employee at Ramona Tire off Winchester backed a truck into my car!! As i was walking out with one of the techs to get the info off my car I noticed a gnarly scratch on my rear bumper. One of the guys from the service bay walked out and owned up to it. (Which i thought was very cool and professional). He said that he just didn't see my car as he was backing the truck out of the bay. The manager came out and looked at it and said that they would take care of it and get it fixed. I thought that was cool. So about 20 min passed and I hadn't heard anything about how my car was going to get fixed i asked the manager what was going on. He told me that I needed to call the corporate manager and basically figure it out with him. Really!! Last time i checked It was his employee that hit me! So trying to be reasonable I called. Sat on hold for about 10 min and only got the words out "Hi one of your employees just hit my car" he said Hello back then we got disconnected (I'm gonna assume he didn't hang up on me but that what it sounded like) So after talking with the store manager and calling the corporate manager back 2 more times (didn't speak to him once but left voicemails) they tell me there is a custom hot rod shop in Hemet (bullsh**) that i need to take my car to and the manager from corporate office will call me Thursday!!! Oh and on my invoice the manager put that his employee scratched my car. SCRATCH!!! yeah not just a scratch!! Ok so I understand that the store manager probably couldn't do much about the situation, but seriously, his employee hit me and i had to make all the phone calls and try to figure this crap out on my own. WTF!!! And to top is all off he couldn't even give me any type of price break on my tire install. I honestly expected a lot better customer service from a situation like this! I already talked to my insurance company and they said if i don't hear anything by Friday to let them know. Seriously the worst management skills i have ever seen and an even bigger lack of customer service and a complete disregard for customer satisfaction. The temperature light had come on and after consulting with the sales people at AutoZone, I purchased I thermostat. When I brought the vehicle to Ramona tire I asked them if they could install my newly purchased thermostat, because my vehicle was overheating. I was told to bring it in and they would take a look at it. When asked how much it would cost, I was told that the price would be $130. I brought in my vehicle, they install the thermostat, I ask if I should have anymore problems and I am told that If i did, just bring it back. Literally three days later I am driving my car and the temperature light comes on again. I pulled over to the side thinking that I had just had this issue repaired three days ago. I stop at a local business and ask if I could use their water to cool my car. The radiator and the overflow reservoir are basically empty. I grab a 5 gallon container of spring water and pour it to the vehicle radiator. The gentleman who was assisting me notices that the fluid is running out of the engine and onto the ground. I immediately called Ramona tire. The first question that I ask is do you guys do pressure test when working on a cooling system to be certain that there are no leaks? Gentlemen told me that indeed they perform those test when working on a cooling system. I told him that my car was having issues and that they had recently worked on it, they send a tow truck to pick my vehicle up and bring it back to their location. The next morning they contacted me and informed me that my vehicle has a blown head gasket that he did not have when I brought it to them, and certainly should not have had after leaving the shop of a certified mechanic who returned my keys back to me and sent me on my way home to destroy my engine. To add insult to injury, they actually told me that I have to pay them for the tow before they release my vehicle to me. Sal and Steve screwed me! read more

I took my 2012 SUV with 10,000 miles in for a tire repair ($30). They called later and said they couldn't repair it because it was too close to the sidewall. This was the 2nd time I have brought a tire in for repair that they said it was unrepairable., which I thought was an unusual coincidence. I decided I wanted a 2nd opinion before I dropped $200 on a new tire. I took it to America's tire and surprise, they fixed it for free and said there was no problem doing it. Very strange that Ramona said I needed a new tire and America's said I didn't. I'm glad I found a place I can trust!!!! read more

These guys are great. I get all my service done here. They're fair and honest. The road hazard protection has saved me a lot from repairs or replacements of tires. Don (MGR) and the crew are great. I had someone try to steal a Rim from my car and took a few lugs off the rim. They dug through a spare bucket and replaced the lugs for free. A+ read more

recently took my car in for flat tire repair (not cheap at $30). was told that i needed to have my brakes changed as well as the front brakes were "paper thin" and that the brake lights would come on any minute. had my brother in law (prior mechanic for toyota) change the brakes 3 wks later and was told by him that I had at least 3-4 mm of brake pads left in front brakes which would likely last me at least another 10,000 miles! Was lied to by service rep at Ramona tire. Wasted money on new pads and was worried sick for about 3 wks prior to having my brother in law change pads. Thanks goodness didn't have them change it as they wanted to charge me ~250.00 for brakes. read more

My review was removed because the "Yelp comminity" brought attention that it was not specific towards my experience. Let's try this again. At approximately 1pm, I personally entered the facility and asked if I could get an oil change. I was informed yes, on condition that I leave my car until closing (6pm). I asked if I could give all the information, and come back when it would be closer to the time the actual oil change would be preformed. I asked if it seriously took five hours to do an oil change, and the worker gave an exasperated response "no, but we put your paperwork in the order you come in". When I inquired about treating it like an appointment, he proceeded to give the very same response. The treatment I personally experienced was demeaning at best. I also personally experienced the corporate response to my post (which by definition of responding through yelp, to be part of the "yelp community"). Rather than fulfilling the offer of reaching out to me, they asked me to contact them. Which isn't possible due to the deleted review. So, once again, Ramona Tire has given me a personal experience of little or no resolution to the original poor treatment by it's staff. read more

Not a happy camper. I have taken my Toyota for all oil changes an inspections to these guys over the years. I was happy but noticed that last time that were not the same. I think they changed managers. I was told that my brakes needed to be changed and rotors replaced. I asked why when they should have told me last time I was in that my pads needed changing. Pads do not go from not needing changing to needing new rotors in 5000 miles. They gave me a discounted price to do the brake job since I complained but 3000 miles later brakes not working and squeaking again. You can get better pricing going to Toyota dealer and they will stand behind the work they do. These guys to try lie there way out when they are confronted with not doing what they are supposed to do. Never go back. read more

Where do I start? I took my car into Ramona tires for s simple oil change. A couple of days later I noticed my car leaking oil, I took it back to Ramona, had them check their work and had a belt replaced, which they recommended I have done. After checking the leak, they gave me an estimate of over $850 to replace a supposed oil pan that had the leak. I stressed about this estimate for over a week. My brother checked my car and found the "o" ring around the oil filter housing was not secured, thereby leaking oil. It cost me $4. 00 to replace it and problem solved. These people are scam artists beware. I regret getting lifetime alignment here. read more

I brought my boat trailer in to have all 6 tires replaced. Ramona tire wasn't the least expensive but they did match the price of the local competition. Everything I thought was going fine until I checked the four tires that had been installed on the trailer. Not a single one had been balanced. When I asked the manager about it he confronted the technician who told him he had static balanced them ( placed the weights on the inside of the rim where they can't be seen) because the rims were chrome and he didn't want them to look bad with the weights on the outside. That was I lie. I went back out again to make sure I wasn't the one who was making a mistake. I wasn't. There wasn't a single weight on any of the tires. I can't believe somebody would cut corners like that . I definitely would not recommend Ramona tire. read more

I went to Ramona tire service center on april 8 2018 for an immediate tire repair at winchester rd Temecula CA.However i was told to wait for 4 hrs before they can fix it for flimsy reason such as busy and employees had to take their break.Thats the way how they manage their business.Since i can not wait that long i proceeded to Ramona tire at Madison ave Murrieta CA. and i was accomodated to fix the tire in 45 minutes although they are also busy at that time .i paid nothing.i am very thankfull to the service agent and technician for their excellent job aside from being courteous and respectfull. i fully recommend to have your car fix at that facility in Ramona tire madison ave Murrieta CA. respectfully yours dvcortejos wildomar CA. read more

The guy who worked with me, Scott, I believe, was very friendly, but that is the only good thing I can say. I brought my car in for a new tire to replace the right front one, which was bare. I paid almost $400 for two front tires and an alignment. They said my car would be done by the end of the day, so I called them an hour before closing. The other man at the front desk answered and said my car was ready. I showed up a few minutes later to my car still in the air. Half an hour later, I left with a low tire pressure warning. I called them when I got home, and the other man answered again. I told him there was a low tire pressure light and I asked if the tires were perhaps not pumped or if the light came on while they were working and they did not know how to turn it off (I drive a Mini and some shops do not know how to alter the lights). He did not answer my question or ask anyone who actually worked on my car, and simply said to bring it in. I brought it in the next day they were open and one of the mechanics spent thirty minutes checking each of my tires and looking very confused. Then he brought out the other man from the front desk, who proceeded to tell me my tire sensor for my left rear tire was no longer working. This was not a problem when I brought it in. Scott asked if they fixed the tire pressure and I said no, they told me the sensor on my rear left tire is no longer working. He looked very confused until the other man walked up and said the sensor went bad. Then Scott asked which tire and said he would have repaired it for free if it had been a tire they worked on, but would charge me $75-100 to replace the sensor since they did not work on that tire. So I brought my car in for a new tire and left with a broken sensor, which was not lit up on my dash when I originally brought it to them. Funny timing, to have something go wrong at their shop, in an area they happen to specialize in. I am a 20 year old female who came in by myself, and I am almost positive they were trying to take advantage of someone they took to be naive. I will never be returning and will never suggest their shop to anyone I know. read more

Too bad there isn't a way to rate zero stars, I hesitate giving even one. I brought my brand new alloy wheels into Ramona Tire on Winchester rd. in Temecula to have new tires installed. They were for a 1965 Mustang I have restored. 3 out of 4 turned out well. When they called my name after the job was done, they told me that there was damage to the edge of the wheel. They proceeded to tell me that my brand new wheels (which were sealed and boxed) must have been used and that the manufacturer put a used wheel in the box. They would not replace or repair the brand new wheel that they just damaged. I was told to go back to the wheel store and ask them to replace it. Just before my job was completed, I heard the manager yelling at the employees and demanding the location of the tires for the mustang. There was a newer mustang getting tires at the time I was there. My suspicion is that they installed the newer mustang's tires on my wheels accidentally, and damaged my wheel when they were removing those tires. These guys are totally crooked and have zero integrity. DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO RAMONA TIRE IN TEMECULA!!!!!! read more

I WILL NEVER got to this place again for any type of service. I had a nail in my tire and needed to get it patched, so I thought, I would just go here, since it was right down the street from my house. It cost $30 to patch, now I admit, shame on me for not calling around first, but I was in a hurry and needed to get it fixed. I could have bought a whole new tire for $40. I called around and found the average price was about $15 to patch a tire. They also were trying to get me to sign up for some credit card they had and told me if I just did that then I would only have to pay $15. I didn't find the staff helpful at all and the fact that they wanted to charge so much was the icing on the cake. read more

The guy who helped me out, Paul (hilarious!), is great at helping me find the tires that fit each of my cars needs, rebates to help, and has no problem price matching other quotes. They always let me know other issues with the vehicles and prioritize them for me so I can budget and plan them out. I recommend this place, highly!! read more

I will give them no star. I went there yesterday 7/11/19 to ask them If my tire is fixable. The guy that greeted me to the parking lot of their store checked my flat tire and said my tire is not fixable and I needed to replace all 4 tires for my car. We went insI only needed one tire! I told him I will have to check around and might come back. The Next day I went to Barney's Tire & Wheel to check to see if my tire is fixable. They told me that they will check it and they were very friendly and guess what? After an hour they told me that my tire is fixed. I was so happy and thankful!! I asked them how much I owe them? They said nothing!!!!. Now that is above and beyond best customer service I have ever experienced and Ramona tires wanted to replace all 4 of my tires? Ramona will not get any of my business and my friends and family' s business. I will go to Barney's Tire & Wheels from now on. They did not get sales from me but I will advertise their honest and excellent customer service. read more

I went to ramona tires to show them the $120 Nexen 5000+ tires i bought from them 2 years ago that are worn and the tires did have a 60,000 mile warranty. I have only put 34,000 miles on them. The guy, Scott, even said they looked evenly worn like i had taken care of them, i had them rotated every oil change at the dealer and all documented on carfax, Scott was doing his best to help me, then his manager Saul came and said, you havent brought the car in for alignment checks every 5,000 miles, so the warranty is voided. I asked where that number is on the contract we had, he said its general knowledge, But we'll still help you out. Next offer was four $230 tires and knock off $50 from the total but theres still $15 per tire installation. Really disappointed with Saul. Scott was very professional. Worthless warranty. Worthless life estimates. Luckily Sam's Club was having a sale on tires. This place is cool when everything is going well, but forget it when their products make them lose money. read more

Walked in mid afternoon on a Saturday 4-28-18. I was the only customer in the lobby. There were three gentlemen behind counter one on phone the other two talking to each other about a wrong VIN. One of the two gentlemen who were talking to each started to walk out to the garage floor and preceded to drop the "F" bomb and yelling we have a wrong VIN again, pretty sure his name was Saul from reading his comments on Yelp how he has been in business for 20 years and loves meeting new people. Did I mention that I had neither of the three gentlemen acknowledge that I was even standing there. At this point it had to be at least 2-3 minutes with still no acknowledgement I was there so I figured my business was not welcomed here so I turned to walk out the one gentlemen hung up with his phone call after he saw me turning and said "we will be right with you". My reply was "no thank you", and departed this facility. Bad business ethics from what I can tell. This was my first time ever walking into this establishment after living in the area for 10 years, more than likely will not return. read more

DO NOT take your vehicle in for ANY diagnostic and repair quotes! These guys, straight up, tried to bend me over. I went to them a year ago because my AC wasn't blowing cold anymore. Took it to them for a charge up. They came back and told me my entire AC system was shot and I needed a whole new system and that it would cost me $1600. I live on a disability income, which they knew, so I had no choice, (or so I thought), but to continue on w/ no AC in my car for a year. Then, my brother in law had me take it to his mechanic who called me back the next morning and told me that my cost for fixing it was $62.69. They looked it over thoroughly and did a compression test and found no leaks at all. They just charged up the Freon and it is blowing so cold now, it's freezing me out! AND...while I was in Ramona Tires waiting for them to bend me over, I was listening to another women in their shop go off on them for doing basically the same thing to her. I should have taken my car elsewhere right then! I know better now. Sounds like, if you're a woman, they automatically try to bend you over! read more

I was traveling down to San Diego in my Dodge Ram 1500, and one of the bolts to the front right caliper came out, not the ones that hold the bracket the big ones. Anyway I was pulling off the highway to get gas in temecula and front brake locked up and was ground up against the inside of the wheel, so I couldn't move once I stopped. I saw what the problem was, autozone and Napa didn't have it, and every other hardware store was closed on Sunday, (so I couldn't get the bolt), dealership parts department was closed on Sunday. Finally I called Ramona tire, and the lady suggested I bring down an identical bolt from the other side and she said they'd look if they had one. A guy looked, and I was like, well, I'm out of options, this sucks, just have the part ordered and my buddy will have to come pick me up(I live in 29 palms) so then when I got back to 29 palms she called and said they found one. Sucks haha. But anyway, picked the truck up the next day, and they didn't charge me, was a "courtesy brake check". They were extremely nice and weren't condescending (which I hate when dealing with mechanics). Anyway, 5 stars for great customer service and a free bolt! Wish I lived near them! read more
