I walked up to the front and started to scope out the menu. The girl working was kind and walked me through all the season flavors they had too. They were constantly refreshing all the donuts and making more. Although they're known for their crème brule donut, I went with the hazelnut one. The girl working said if I was a Nutella fan I'd like it. She was right! Wow! It was sooo good! The donut itself was around $7-8 for one. Which yes a bit on the pricier side but it was a good donut and one was enough for me! I ended up eating it at the restaurant. They also have WiFi so I was able to do a bit of work too. However, there was some confusion during our order that I wish the staff had explained better. We ordered a box of 6 donuts and included the Dubai Donut in our selection. The lady helping us did not explain that the Dubai Donut was a separate purchase and was NOT counted as one of the 6 donuts. When we paid, we were charged for the box of 6 PLUS an additional $10 for the Dubai Donut. Had we known that, we would have picked 6 regular donuts for the box and purchased the Dubai Donut separately. Instead, we essentially paid for 6 donuts plus the Dubai Donut, even though we thought the Dubai Donut was part of our box. My only suggestion would be for the staff to clearly explain which specialty donuts are priced separately and which ones are included in the box, especially for first-time customers. A little clarification would definitely prevent confusion at checkout. The good: Amazing donuts, beautiful presentation, unique flavors, and definitely worth trying! The not-so-good: Pricey, and the ordering/pricing could have been explained better. Overall, I really enjoyed the donuts and would still come back to try more flavors. All of the donuts were fresh and had an incredible flavor. PBJ would probably be my favorite of the ones I tried, as it was a perfect balance of the flavors without either overpowering the other. Back to the merch, there are other stores that aren't too far that you can pick some up, or you can do what I did and go to the website and pay to have it shipped. I'm still waiting for it to ship/arrive, so I can't speak to the quality yet. Seems like Pinkbox is still growing, so it shouldn't be hard to find a location in town when you're craving a donut.
