Two stars only because the cake pops we ordered were tasty. We made an appointment to discuss ordering a cake for an engagement and met with Sasa. From the beginning of the meeting, she was somewhat condescending and clearly was bothered by the simple role of her job.. at least that's how it came across during the appointment. If you asked her a question for clarification, she would say "I already told you that" and gave unsolicited advice. After the appointment and deposit I noticed there was a 5% less deal on yelp so I called to ask if it could be redeemed at time of pick up. Sasa made a fuss but stated it would be done. Went to pick it up and redeem the deal... Sasa states "I would never say that".. insinuating that I made it up? After some heated arguing, it was only settled after the owner Roobina's came in and said to give the less 5%, but stated next time it needs to be done at time of order. I will not be returning to this shop and have never been treated like this. It's a shame as this place was recommended. The store itself is rather underwhelming. The only was very nice tho :) read more

We live around the area and I just have to say that it's such a blessing to bump onto this bakery. We ordered our daughter's birthday cake from them and I'm not even exaggerating but they copied exactly (even better maybe) the picture we gave them. They are also so nice to work with, very accommodating and pleasant. They even gave my daughter a free cake pop when we were about to leave. They suggested that we get the white chocolate flavor for our cake since it's always a kids' favorite and I must say it was delicious! Valentines Day 2019....the most expensive day of the year for all of us with a significant other. As always, I waited until the last minute to find the perfect gift for my girl and I had no clue where to begin. I called Roobina's Cake a few days before to hopefully get lucky with something, since I knew how busy they were probably going to be. To my luck they came through! I spoke with (Sasa?) on the phone and asked what they recommend and she told me that their Valentine's boxes were very popular. We had a tasting here, and unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed by the cakes and the consultation. I'm not sure if we came on a bad day since all the other reviews say the cakes are fantastic, flavorful, and moist, but our tasting cupcakes were dry and bland with watery frosting. (Though the raspberry frosting was great! Unfortunately, it wasn't a big enough pro for the other cons.) The consultation part of the tasting was also disheartening. It felt like no matter what we had in mind (non-dummy cakes, small table cakes) the woman helping us (nice otherwise!) was telling us that they don't advise any of them because of their bad experiences. Definitely valid for them. After consulting with other places that can do what we want, Roobina's was ultimately just not the right fit for us!
