If you're not a picky person than fine but this is the 3rd Cake they messed up on and this was the last straw for me...it's just really unprofessional! The owner, Roobina doesn't know how to take orders or she's just sleeping while taking your order because it's just not possible to make 3 out of 4 cakes wrong! And the only reAson one of my cakes were right was because someone else placed the order and it was a simple clean cake that didn't need any designs on it. Anyway, when I went to place my order I had an appointment and she literally multi tasked while taking my order which was completely unprofessional! We were in the middle of placing a cake order someone else walked in so she stopped helping me and helped them instead while I waited... I placed two orders that day and both cake designs were wrong! The first time I placed my order I went with specific designs and I wanted a glitter cake. I showed her the glitter I wanted and she said yes and quoted my price...idk why I had a gut feeling to follow up on it to confirm the design. So I called and spoke to, I think her daughter, and explained to her what I want...they were basically going to put ugly gold color dots on my cake and pass it off to me as "glitter" and then they told me that they can't do glitter because it would be way too expensive?! So why would roobina price me 340$ for the Cake I wanted and showed her a picture of the exact glitter that I wanted on the Cake?! So I decided to just settle for fondant cake even though roobina quoted me 340$ for a glitter cake...I went to pick up my cake and the design was wrong... I think she does it on purpose because if you're picking up your cake on the day your event is then you're going to have no choice but to take it as is... So today I went to pick up my baby's smash cake, AND guess what?! They brought me a completely different design and on top of that?! It was white! White? It's a baby girls cake smash why would it be white?? IT WAS LITERALLY THE UGLIEST CALE EVER! And second! We talked about over sized roses all around the cake and they brought me a cake with small Roses! This place is so unorganized and unprofessional that they had forgotten to let me know about price increase until I called them to ask about my cake. I personally hate leaving bad reviews specially for a local business but Roobina's cake really messed up or just couldn't do what we needed and wouldn't admit to it and tried to sell us their style. you be the judge by looking at the pictures. We walk in 6 months before our wedding to order our wedding cake we show them a picture they draw it out bla bla bla , can you guys make this cake in this picture "yes we can c'mon this is so simple" . We had a little confusion over a part of the design so they said they would make us a sample of that part. So we leave no call or text or email for a few months after tracking them down after months and asking them what happened with our sample they tell us ok we will make it come by next week. This is a 10 days before our wedding. We go in and in the picture you'll see the sample they made us . Looks like my 3 year old cousin made it and looks nothing like the sample picture . As i complain and say this looks nothing like the picture he tries to explain how it does but it doesn't so he says "NO ONE CAN DO THIS " so i said ok just pay me my deposit ill go find that no one. So they say we are keeping 100$ of that deposit because we made you a sample! What ?? Ok fine at this point i dont even want to be here. So we get out drive 4 blocks up call the cake boutique they give us a better price , bigger cake and told us this is simple and its doable and made us a very nice cake in the pictures you will see the original picture where we got our idea, the next image the sample Roobina's made us and third image is what the cake boutique made us and uploaded it to insta. Dont waste your time where they think they know best and the customer is never right. I had to hear panic and stress from my fiancé at the time because it took them months to make a sample and when they did, they disappointed. So guys take your fiancé and go elsewhere. read more
