This was my first slice of pizza from Austin and from Texas but if this is what Texas and Austin has to offer, I can say with confidence that Pennsylvania has way better pizza.

Pizza is super good and a fair price domestic beer, only three dollars a bottle. Service is fast and the inside is older, but still enough for a pizza joint.

Margarita slice and Rosalie slice. Fav was Rosalie

Just tried this place today cuz I was in the area but def will return cuz it was fireeee. And they got a special from like 3-5p m-f or something so I got 2 slices for literally like less than nine dollars and the slices were actually giant as fuck. I always loved that pizza place, Home Slice but this is definitely gonna be one of my new favorites now. They have a nice big patio with Hella seating which is great since I have a dog and the woman who checked me out was really nice. Lowks the only weird part was I was eating my pizza on the deck, alone w my dog, and this dude (who I assume works there because he was behind the counter earlier) came out and like invited me to his church and told me something like I look like I could use God or something. and this whole fufkin time he's telling me about mass, I'm like mid fuckin bite lol. And preoccupied, freaking out cuz the dumbass essay I spent like 5 hours working on didn't save. Lol maybe god can save me after all. But anyways just found that interaction a little peculiar, a little interesting. But yum pizza, nice people and gooood deal money wise. Thanks yall

We've been to this location and the West Campus location on multiple occasions. This one is much closer to our house and within walking distance (about a mile or so). It's a great place to stop before/after going out in the area. They do a pretty decent NY-style pie that tastes pretty good, especially after you've had a few drinks...it really hits the spot.

Got a late night slice here after drinking and it hit the spot! This place is super impressive with the crowd they serve and how late they are open. Pizza was good and pretty reasonably priced!

Roppolo's pizza is great if you can catch it when it's fresh, but after it's been sitting under the heat lamps, it tastes like it was sitting under the heat lamps. If you find yourself about to order Roppolo's pizza, don't make your selection based off what toppings you usually prefer; get whatever variety looks freshest. I don't eat pizza often, but my margharita slice was a real treat last weekend!

I love a New York-style pizza. I can spy one from a mile; when I see the thin crust, the extra-large slice, the simple sauce, and it's foldable, I know this is it! I can't pass it up, especially when it's a grab-and-go, and the atmosphere is relaxing; I'm all in. So, I was walking down Sixth Street and peered inside, and even though I was full from eating an hour ago, I ordered two slices. I always get a pepperoni and a supreme; both slices were perfect. The distribution of the toppings was spot on, and the sauce was minimal. Roppolo's don't have to drown their pizzas or pies with sauce because they know how to make good pizza; each topping stands on its own, meaning you taste the meat, the veggies, the cheese, the crust, and the sauce with one delicious bite. Another thing: a Pizzaiolo will always greet you and serve you a hot pizza.

Roppolo's is normally closed on Monday but for some reason it was open. I was in Austin for the Kill Tony show and I had to grab a slice before the show. The Godfather is what I got and it a meat lovers dream. It's a big and very delicious slice of thin crust pizza. Roppolo's is a must try if you're downtown on sixth Street.

We always come here when we happen to be in downtown Austin, and it always hits. We always try to stop by when we're in the area.

Decent pizza for a late-night snack as they are open late! They are some of the largest slices (even bigger than a Costco slice) and the crust is salted and delicious. They have multiple different pizzas to choose from for your slices (only slices are available after a certain time). They heat them up quickly and you can take them to go or into the "speakeasy" to find several eating areas.

Solid late night pizza spot. Slice was piping hot and crispy but was kind of burnt. Pretty quick service after ordering and inside has few spots to sit

I love a good hotel bed pizza, so I was excited to try Roppolo's after the hotel staff recommended it. When we first walked by, their lights were all off on the truck so we thought they were closed. But that was kind of weird because it was a Friday night and not that late... so we ended up at the gyro cart across the street. Then we looked again and the lights were back on! I love a good slice, so I went back over. I had ordered two slices when I realized I forgot my wallet in the hotel room. Luckily they took Apple Pay, which was great. I got a margherita slice and a pepperoni, sausage, and jalapeno slice. I was kind of shocked when the total was $20 (that was including a decent tip as the guy was really nice), but hey, when in Austin I guess. The pizza was just 3-star ok. The margherita pizza was underneath the other slice in the box and had kind of started falling apart and was really soggy. The pepperoni slice fared better and stayed intact. I prefer the pizza slice places where they run it through an oven right before they give it to you, but that's just not what this spot is about. Convenient and quick is what this Roppolo's has going for it.

Great pizza for what it is. It's everything you would need at any point you're on the dirty 6th. A slice to keep you going through the night if you forgot to eat.Or something to soak up all the liquids. If you head further back in the establishment you will find seating and a staircase leading to more seating.Otherwise hit the street with your paper plate. Slices are about $4.50 a slice. They accept Apple Pay.

They have an indoor area where you can grab drinks but just pull up to the window and get what you want. What I really like about it is buying by the slice is about the same as if you would buy a whole pie, so it makes it easy to mix and match and try a bunch of uniquely topped pies. The slices are huge, so 2 is easily plenty. Arguably you can be fine with one. I highly recommend the cacio e pepe, a playful take on the classic Roman pasta, but you can think of it as a white pie with some tingling black pepper. Sausage pizza is also great, though a bit on the wetter side with all the honey. Plain pepperoni really highlights the expert simplicity of a classic pie - the crust really shines and the pepperoni is top tier. Cheese is fine. Stracciatella is kinda like a margherita slice with a thick dollop of fresh dairy, but it adds a bit too much water to the pie to stay crisp. Corn pizza was the summer special and while it was interestingly spicy and sweet from the corn, would say it was far and away the least favorite from our crew. Make sure you grab some hot honey and ranch for the crust! Also don't sleep on the caesar salad. It is very well dressed and has a nice combo of crunch from the shallots and freshness from the lettuce. They're especially known for their Roman-style pizza so I highly recommend giving it a try. As for flavors, you really can't go wrong but the standouts for me were the Potato, Chicken Parm and Lasagna slices. They also serve calzones, New York-style pizza, gelato and wine, so there's truly something for everyone. The pizza is priced by the slice, which makes it easy to mix and match like I did, though you can also order a full pie. I will say this definitely isn't cheap pizza, but you're absolutely paying for quality ingredients and incredible flavor. I ended up taking mine to go, but they do have a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine in. With plenty of parking, fast service and mind-blowing flavors what more could you ask for from a pizza spot?

Baldinucci Pizza Romana on Bee Caves Road (next door to Flower Child) is a great pizzaria…read more Baldinucci reminds me of being in Florence, Italy with this charmingly small size and authentically Italian music playing in the background. Two things grab you immediately, the variety of pizzas available and other offerings such as gelato (yes! Gelato...so uniquely Italian). The Roman style slices were light, airy, and crisp. In addition, they also serve New York-style pizza pies as a classic pizza offering. Customers can elect to have a whole pizza, a variety of pizza slices to equal a whole pizza or pizza by the slice. Literally, even the most discerning palate can find can pizza at this location - vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options...yes...traditional selections and creative combinations...yes! You can taste the exquisite quality of the ingredients, from the crust to the toppings. We ordered the Italian sausage and pepper pizza. For a person who does not eat a lot of pizza, this pizza was delicious. The Baldinucci vibe was uniquely European...families sitting outside enjoy pizza and all the trimmings along with friends, colleagues and family members also dining inside. There was a constant stream of customers picking up "to-go" orders as well. While in route, we got a bit lost circling the Randall parking lot twice. Once we reached staff, they were so helpful to point out a major landmark, which helped navigate us to the building. Excellent dining experience...
