We ordered takeout, so I cannot comment on the service or ambiance. These were pretty good pizza slices and pretty large. I put a Comcast/Xfinity remote in the picture to provide a reference for the size of the pizza slices. They were running a BOGO deal and I like to freeze a slice and reheat it in the oven later when they do this. They did forget one of the cheese slices that should have been incorporated in the BOGO deal. But since I ordered through Uber Eats, it's hard to tell if it was Uber's fault or Slice Factory's fault. read more

The pizza is decent, and the people who work here are really nice. And it's open 24/7 which makes it really convenient. But it's not the best pizza in the world. The other stuff on their menu like the pasta and cannolis are actually good if you can get them but they sometimes won't make them late at night. The pizza itself is decent when it's fresh but it's typically not fresh. There's a lot of locations around Chicago but they all pretty much taste the same. Ordered a jumbo slice sausage pizza and some garlic parmesan traditional wings. Overall the pizza was okay. Definitely a good size but the cheese was a bit dry. I did appreciate the sausage not being overly salty. I think you'll just have to time it when they make it straight out the oven. The wings though was supposed to be garlic parmesan but tasted oddly more like lemon pepper which was confusing. It was sour in every bite. I think I'll have to try a different flavor next time. The cashier is super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was my first time there and they were very willing to let me know all the important info. It is incredibly fast and cheap for pretty good food! I've been ordering it a lot lately. The service is speedy and helpful. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars, is because I've now had two issues in a row with legitimate food safety issues. I just ate a Nutella bite that contained a good amount of raw dough. It wasn't obvious, due to the temperature until later. I've also had food burnt and both have gotten me sick. I came to this location about a week ago and emailed my concerns to corporate before coming here to leave a review. Corporate did get back to me, stating that the owner/manager would be contacting me directly. A week later and nothing. So seeing that the owner/manager never got back to, they must not take it serious when a customer goes out of their way to email corporate over some health hazards/concerns at their establishment. I went to the Pilsen location for lunch and was very disturbed/disgusted at the findings there. Upon ordering our food, I noticed some small cups with liquid around the pizzas that were out behind the glass casing. I asked the cashier what that was , and was told they were cups of "oil" to capture the flies that flew around the pizzas. Yikes. So next, the drink dispenser . 8 drink options are visible, yet after the purchase, we were told only 2 were working. The lemonade and the fruit punch. Not only was the machine out of order, the but ice dispenser had BLACK MOLD accumulating on the outside ridges and the counter top where the machine is stationed is full of yellow crust. Also the bathroom was out of order. For a franchise that is well known, I was highly disappointed when I encountered this establishment. There should be no reason for that place to look so run down and in that condition. There was no one in there at the time meaning there is plenty of time to clean and fix the problems. I stumbled across this place just driving by. One day I was a bit hungry and decided to drop in for a slice. It is clean inside and the employees were nice as I inquired about the pizzas. There were giant pizzas all ready to go sitting in the warmer. I picked out a slice of sausage. They stuck it in the oven for a few minutes and asked me if I'd like it sliced into squares. I thought since i was going in the car it would be a good idea. I dug into it before I started driving, and man, it was good. Way better than those giant Bacci pizza slices you see around town. Sauce was generous and I think that was the key to making this pizza good. Crust was slightly crunchy, and not too thick. Cheese and sausage were perfect. This was my first visit to the Slice Factory and it will likely be my last, at least to this location. The cashier was very rude. During the transaction, she put her ear piece in and took a cell phone call, leaving me at the register. She talked on the phone, cursing and being loud, while I waited for my slice. Once the slice came out of the oven, she places it in the to go box, without closing it, and walks away still talking on the phone. I begin to close the box myself so I can leave, then she comes over and takes the box to close it, pushes it towards me without a thank you as she continues her call. We had 3 jumbo slices delivered through uber eats. I did not realize how "jumbo" the slices were going to be! I attached a picture of the slice in comparison to the size of my head. I was full after about 3/4 of a slice. We got a slice of pepperoni, margherita, and the tropical chicken BBQ. The pepperoni was really good - wasn't very warm though, but that could've been because we had it delivered. The margherita was also very good - my only complaint being that the minced garlic on the pizza was not very well minced as there were some rather large chunks of garlic on the pizza. My boyfriend ate the tropical chicken BBQ and he absolutely loved it. I tried a bite of it and it was way too spicy for me, but if you enjoy spice I highly recommend this slice! read more
