We happened upon one of those shows on the Food Network about different kinds of pizza. One of the segments was about Chicago-style deep dish. I'm not a huge Chicago-style pizza fan. As a transplanted New Yorker, I grew up on and still prefer thin-crust NY style pizza. But that segment on the show REALLY made the family crave some deep dish. So I turned to my fellow Yelpers for a recommendation and wasn't disappointed! Rositi's is unassuming, in a (new and upscale) strip mall across from a supermarket. The menu offers a wide variety of all of the choices you would expect - including thin crust. We opted for deep dish veggie - mushrooms, onions, tomatoes. It took a while to cook (as all good food does). The pizza was as good as I've had. Crunchy crust, oozing with cheese, generous helpings of toppings and a delicious sauce on top. In total we spent $36 dollars including tip for a medium pie and 3 drinks for 3 of us. Plus we still had 3 slices left to take home.... Those didn't last the night! I couldn't even stay and order pizza. When we sat down, our waiter put down dishes, that were supposed to be clean, but all grease and handprints were on them, to eat our pizza on. The bathroom was so disgusting. The place is dirty. I got up and left. If the place is dirty, who knows how dirty the kitchen is. Gross!! read more

Rosati's is another classic & authentic Chicago pizzeria! We love Rosati's because not only do they have real Chicago pizzas, but they also serve authentic Chicago Italian beef sandwiches & combos! They're not "Al's Beef" grade but they're pretty close! For a Chicago ex-pat, it's a nice touch of home! The only drawback to Rosati's is they do not deliver! Even in these times and with all the available delivery services. They'd be our "Go to" place for Chicago comfort fast food if not for that. Still it's worth the occasional drive. read more

First time here, came with friends who have been here many times. We were at the table for over 10 minutes before anyone came by. Ordered drinks appetizers and pizza, drinks came out 2x2 and not correct and then the appetizers were wrong but edible. The pizza was about 35 minutes coming out, it was very good. Doing this entire time dirty dishes stayed on the table and we were able to get 1 drink refill. Oh to make it clear we were the second table there and the other people already had their food. Hopefully it the service was not normal and I would give them a second chance because the pizza was very good (maybe a great takeout place). read more

Ordered delivery from here twice and received the food within an hour both times. Pizza is good with that Italian taste to it that you don't get from the national chains. Price is on par with most. Haven't been inside so can't judge the actual restaurant. If you're looking for a good this place can help. read more

I paid 60 dollars for a 14 inch pizza and I want this to be a misunderstanding. I ordered through yelp using my credit card. I was told the card didn't go through when the pizza arrived. I wanted the food so paid again in cash and was promised they would follow up if anything comes up. So I double checked with my bank and they say it was charged with no issue. And have not heard back from the store since. Lesson learnt, I would never using credirlt card ordering on Yelp again. read more

We went here because we wanted a sit down dinner and thought it would be good. Rosati's in Chicago has a good reputation. We were seated and the waitress Jaycee showed no interest in us. She had an attitude like she was dragged in on her day off. I ordered a glass of wine, she brought the bottle out and poured the last of it into my glass. Been to a lot of restaurants and no one has done that. We ordered garlic bread and salad. She wrote nothing down. We got a loaf of bread with packaged butter pats and then she brought out the garlic bread to another table but they said it's not us, before giving it to us. She also had to be reminded about the salad before getting it for us. We mistakenly asked what size pizza to get for three people. They have 12",14", 16",18" and 20". Her attitude seems to be "if you have to ask...". So she suggested the 18" thin. Way more than we needed but we ordered a spinach classic. On the menu ingredients were spinach, garlic, tomato. We recieved spinach, mushroom, tomato. So the chef doesn't care about the menu. We ate it because we figured complaining would just cause more time and a more disgruntled waitress. One of us doesn't like mushrooms so she picked them off. When the waitress came to box it, she was surprised, "We could have done 1/2 no mushroom for you!" Well, we weren't expecting mushroom on it so how could we order it that way? Again, we let it go, paid and left. read more

When one leaves the safety of NY-NJ one also leaves behind the guarantee of superb pizza, right?! Well, not anymore. If you're in town visiting Lenovo or some of the many nearby tech campuses, then ignore Pizza Hut, Papa John's and all the other chains; they serve disgusting toppings on top of cardboard. Rosati's is superb. I'm writing this and I've only had two small slices of my custom pizza; excellent all around. I also took a celebratory chomp out of the cannoli; also excellent. I've ordered delivery from this place 3 times. It's gotten worse with each order. The first time to ordered the chefs sammich and spaghetti. Both were or but I found that the sandwich meat was quite dry. They don't put much cheese on the sandwich so if you order it ask for extra. The spaghetti was ok at best. Next I ordered a pizza. That was ok but there is better pizza out there than this. Tonight I ordered chicken alfredo and fried pickles. (Judge me if you like) I was so dissatisfied. None of the food I got was good. The pasta was not aldente it was undercooked and hard. There was 6 bites of chicken on each plate that I ordered and the alfredo was really thick. The pickles were disgusting and not edible. They were caked in oil and not at all crispy. They didn't even put them in a container...: they just plopped them in the bag. I may try to eat in the restaurant to see if it's different but I will save my $40 and go get Pizza Hut before I order delivery again. read more

The Chicago style deep dish has become a weekly staple for my family. It's huge. It's affordable. It's delicious.

Came with my 2 friends we ordered breadsticks for the table, my one friend and I split a pizza and the other got a pasta on his own. I didn't think this was going to be too complicated to do on the system but the owner comes to speak to us after the waiter had already messed it up once and said he could do it it'd just be a pain to do it again. Just very rude manner and wanted us to 'figure it out between us'. Not to mention they forgot my friends pasta and overall we waited at least 45 mins for our pizza. No AC when we were there or at least they didn't bother to turn it on for us so it was hot and humid the whole time we were there. Wish I could give 0 stars. read more

We stopped on a Friday night on the way home from the airport. Fairly busy - one big table with a bunch of separate checks ( I think there were a party of twelve) The Restaurant's was a little short staffed as well. Pizza was great. We had deep dish. Maybe not quite as good a authentic Chicago deep dish but very good. All said, we had some problems with the service initially However, the server recognized the problem and was very apologetic. Without complaining or prompting the server to fix things, they offered free dessert to everyone at the table. It's not whether you have problems sometimes - it's about how you fix them. read more

Warning! I am pretty sure my heart stopped at least twice during the consumption of the 4 meat pizza that Ron W, Phil G, and I consumed yesterday. If you're on any type of diet, stay far far away. Otherwise, run here as quickly as possible! Ironically enough, I am fresh off a trip to Chicago where I ate at one of the most famous deep dish pizza places in the world (Lou Malnati's). With that pie fresh in my mind, I dove in on Rosati's version. Wowser, this thing was awesome. Not exactly sure how they did it, but normally when I get a 'meat lovers' style pizza, it is absolutely dripping in grease (thus the reason I don't order them often). Rosati's must use quality meat and unprocessed cheese, as there was no oil slick present (no paper towel dabbing necessary; you know who you are). The taste was excellent and the meat and cheese combo gave a nice bite. The main difference between this pie and Lou's was that the crust wasn't as buttery, which I actually enjoyed a little more. Besides the food, the service was spot on and the restaurant was clean as a whistle. The pizza spectrum is now complete in the Triangle. You now can get a great deep dish (Rosati's) and a great Neapolitan/NYC (Bella Mia) pie without touching an airplane. My life is now complete. Did I mention I love pizza? read more
