I went to Rosatti's and I was pleasantly surprised by the food, the hospitality of the young lady who greeted me and gave me my order. I did pickup of an XL double dough pepperoni and half sausage green pepper , as well as an Italian cheesy beef sandwich with hot and sweet peppers. They were both excellent, and the beef was very flavorful like the ones you would find in little Italy in Chicago, at Portillo's, or Buona Beef. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The pizza was really good too. The place has a couple of booths and a little counter. It is not a traditional sit down restaurant, and I would suggest you get takeout anyway, but it's there if you want to try dining in. I'll certainly be back. read more

I'm from Chicago and have only been down here a few months. Was surprised to find a Rosati's down the road and ever more surprised by the pizza I received. You guys nailed it! I ordered a Sausage Supreme thin crust, which is typically what we eat in Chicago. I do like a good Deep Dish every once in a while so I'm anxious to give that a try next. If I wanted a deep dish pizza with/without pepperoni and a chopped salad with a lot of water, This is the place. Prices weren't bad and the delivery was quick, thus the dough was not done. Try as we did couldn't find or taste any pepperoni. Chopped Salad was promising but was wet and puddled in the bottom. I usually give a place 2 tries, but this wasn't even close to good, so I'll wait for better reiews. They are sorta new. Pepperoni means pepperoni. read more

Promising Pizza Checked out the newly opened Rosati's Pizza to try their Chicago-style deep dish. The flavor of the crust and sauce is on point. However, there needs to be more crust for the deep dish, and I had to intently look for the pepperoni in their Pepperoni Supreme pizza. Tried the mozzarella sticks. The cheese was not stringy and did not stretch. The fried ravioli had ricotta filling and was not bad. Rosati's has potential. Once they find their groove this would be a solid take-out place. PSA, the restaurant has 2 booth seatings and a high top for 4 chairs. The staff said that this is meant to be a take-out place and not to eat-in. read more

Rosati's is more of a take out place as there are only three tables inside to sit. After looking at options between thin crust vs. deep dish we ordered a deep dish pie with half meatball. We paid & waited about 25 minutes which wasn't bad. ( If you pay by CC you will be paying a small fee.) Upon opening up the box at home we noticed how carefully the pizza was packed. A netting under the pizza. A plastic round thingy to keep the cheese from sticking to the box and a piece of silver foil on top of that. We heated up some slices after search with a fork for the slices with the meatball. It was pretty hard to find. Overall, it was decent deep dish Chicago style. It's the closest deep dish to my home so that might entice me to go back if I was really craving this type of pie, but not likely. Try it for yourself perhaps you might enjoy it if you don't think of it as pizza especially if you're from the tri- state area. read more

We loved it!! We were so excited a new Deep Dish Pizza shop was coming in at WGV and it did not disappoint! We got a Deep dish with Sausage and Pepperoni! I loved the sweetness of the sauce and fresh tomatoes. And I know this is 10 times better in comparison but their crust reminded us of Pizzas Hut Pan Pizza Crust! Again so much better but we love that style crust so it was delicious! Service was wonderful and super fast! Only 2 small booths in the location so it's more of a To-Go Style! read more

The best thing about a shopped salad is how you can just scoop all those ingredients up in one bite. Theirs was like someone just ripped chunks of romaine and tossed them in a bowl. The deep dish was mid. Probably a 5.5/10. The canned smashed stewed tomatoes on top were awful. The sauce however was sweet and the crust was 10/10. For the money, I'd go to Giordanos. read more

We went specifically because we heard the gluten free pizza was the best in all of Saint Augustine! And it was! And my son and I have tried them all from fresh to frozen- all! The service of friendly smiles, and the cook coming out to warn us about cross contamination, and then following up after to see if we enjoyed our meal! Hands down, best pizza in the area... Amazing service. The Friday night crew always comes through. I used to drive 2 hours to Giordano's just for a little taste of home and now I have no need. This place provided the most nostalgic experience one could ask for being from Chicago. The flavor even in the deep dish doesn't miss. Being from Chicago and growing up on Rosati's pizza it definitely taste like home. I wouldn't go to a pizza place and order an Italian beef, so I'm not sure how everything else on the menu is. The pizza is spot on and I'll definitely be back. Glad it's a 10 minute drive from me. We decided to try this place after seeing a lot of glowing reviews on Facebook, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for us. We came for lunch without realizing it's more of a takeout spot--there were only two booths and a narrow counter along the windows for dine-in. The staff was friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered the deep dish "Chicago-style" pizza, which took about 30-40 minutes to prepare--totally fine and expected. What wasn't expected was having it served in a to-go box with flimsy paper plates that tore apart, leaving paper stuck to the bottom of the pizza. Not ideal when you're paying $18 for a 10" pie. The pizza did come out hot, but otherwise, it missed the mark. It looked like it was cooked in a conveyor-style oven (though I might be wrong). The crust was okay, but the cheese layer was surprisingly thin--not what you'd expect from a proper Chicago deep dish. It didn't have that rich, cheesy flavor and felt like a lower-quality brand of cheese. The sauce on top tasted like plain canned crushed tomatoes, with little to no seasoning--bland overall, with a faint taste that reminded us of Pizza Hut sauce. Drink options were limited to bottled Coke products and water. All in all, we left disappointed and don't plan on returning. read more

We ordered a deep dish and a thin crust. Neither was good. The deep dish was overcooked - the crust should be soft and easy to cut, not hard. The thin crust was even worse. First time, last time. 2.5% charge for credit card, wanted a tip to ring it up, shaved bacon (actually could read a book though the bacon , double dough was like thin crust, strange tasting sausage, cut in squares, staff member was trying to force my order on another customer, lasagna took 20 minutes longer than the pizza so the pizza sat around. We have discovered an experience in a pizza box. Ordered a 14" chz pizza thin crust which was cut in small squares. I have to say I'm not big on the small squares, but this was perfectly cut. The pizza had ample cheese, with a nice oregano flavor to the sauce bold enough for a great experience. More of take out environment, but a few tables to eat in. Customer service was on point. You will not be disappointed. Cost is average for pizza, give it a try, I think you will appreciate the experience. read more

Grew up in Chicago: used to go to Pizza Uno & Duo; Malnottis'; & Rosati's. Also managed a PizzaFast food place (Rick's) for 3 years at NIU while in college. A couple of days ago, bought a $30 deep dish 14" 3 topping pizza at St. Aug. Rosati's and was very disappointed in the next to nothing toppings buried in a quarter plus inch of sauce, hiding the toppings. Hopefully the people there will wake up and not be so cheap, and have some quality control. Anyone going there should order just a basic one topping pizza, and put their own extra ingredients on at home (saving the $3 a pop extra charge per topping). Their pizzas give Chicago a bad name and turn off customers; they couldn't get away with our experience in Chi-town! Other reviews sy the same thing. Pepperoni deep dish, REALLY good in the air fryer as the dough was too soft and not crispy enough. Anyone who says it's too saucy has no clue what Chicago style pizza is. The sauce is chunky, tangy, and sweet. This is the best alternative to true Chicago classics like Lou's and Gino's that we'll get here in FL. Deep dish pizzas take longer to cook hence the longer wait time. And they just opened so bigger order volume. It's worth the try, but don't expect NY style and then complain when it's not. read more

We tried Rosati's Pizza last night. Knowing about the wait and ordering issues, we called ahead and set up a pick up time for 6:00. That ran smooth enough. However, we did not care for it. Flavors were 'meh.' We ordered the Cheef (roast beef and cheese sandwich), which was quite small for over $10 - about 1/2 the size of a WaWa hoagie. We ordered the double dough pizza, since hearing the thin dough was crispy and cracker-like. Pepperoni and mushrooms. Maybe 10 pieces of canned mushrooms, and 10 pieces of pepperoni on the entire X-large pizza, at $3.50 per topping. (Leftovers are usually a treat.) A round pizza, cut into squares and rectangles. Some edge pieces were only rounded crust. We understand Chicago-style is cut this way, but their boxes for slices are triangles, like a round pizza would be cut. We called to speak to manager about it, and the response was basically "have a nice day." Disappointing, as we hoped such a close-by pizza store was going to be a favorite. So, try it for yourselves -- hope you have a better experience and dinner. read more
