They have plenty of parking space. The people here were nice. They guided us with everything we need. The people provided us with water constantly and made sure we were ok. The food was good. I enjoyed the coconut soup and the brown rice they have.( it wasn't brown rice, but it was something like the 7 grain of rice) the owner or the manager approached us and talked to us. This is restaurant is such a hidden gems. I am glad my friend suggested it and that we decided to go there for lunch. The restaurant kind of reminded me Palm Springs/Desert Vibes. I love their vegan options which were absolutely delightful. My friend and I would absolutely go back whenever we are in town. They restaurant really take up their customer service to the next level. They always checked with were doing okay and if we needed anything else. The Asian contemporary music , decoration , and the ambience were absolute magical. Cute place to eat dinner that's located in a fairly quiet plaza. Definitely would recommend coming here and would love to come back again anytime! Parking is abundant in this plaza so that's always nice. SERVICE: Although they didn't refill our waters as regularly as other restaurants do, their service is really good otherwise. PAD SEE EW NOODLES: This is always my go-to at every thai restaurant I visited. This dish is noodles made with egg, broccoli, and in a sweet thai sauce. I got this with chicken and it definitely didn't disappoint! Portion was decently big! PAD THAI: Got the chicken pad thai and this met my expectations. Comes with egg, beansprouts, and peanuts in the usual pad thai flavored sauce. Portions is decently big as well! DRUNKEN NOODLES: Got chicken as a meat choice. Very similar to pad see ew and I would choose pad see ew over it (I'm biased for that dish). Portion size is decently big as well. This differs from pad see ew because it comes with tomatoes, bell peppers, and bean sprouts in fresh chili and garlic. RED CURRY: This coconut milk based curry came with squash, green beans, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and basil. It tasted like how I expected, but came in a smaller portion size compared to everything else. I was nearby due to a training and I'm glad I was! I looked up some places nearby and this came up and it had great reviews. This place was delicious I got the pad see ew with chicken spice level: hot, since I didn't want to risk not enjoying it since it was my first time. Next time I would try Thai hot. I got the lunch special which came with a soup and a couple of little extra things to try. I'll provide a picture of what they were. The staff was very attentive. I came alone during my lunch break from the training and they were so nice and checking in with me about the food but they didn't over do it. Located near the center of a seemingly abandoned strip mall, off the main street - and considering the quality of the food and friendly service - qualifies this place as a "hidden gem". Walking in, you'll instantly be greeted, seated and brought ice water and menus. In addition to regular looking menus, they'll hand you a photo album full of full color photos of the dishes offered here. Although this may seem a bit odd at first, if you're new to Thai cuisine, it'll really help you make decisions on what you might want to eat. My favorite thing to eat here is the golden cashew dinner (which they'll gladly make for you during lunch time, and turn into their lunch combo meal, if you ask nicely). I usually alternate between chicken and shrimp, which is stir fried with roasted cashews, carrots, bell pepper and onions, served with a side of white rice and orange slice. Since they made it a lunch combo for me, I also got a side of coconut soup, mini egg roll and half moon wonton. The main dish itself was excellent (as always). You can choose your level of "spicy", so I always go with a level 7 or 8 (on a scale of 1-10). To me, it's the perfect spice to add to the dish, without overpowering the flavor of the shrimp, chicken, cashews, etc. The coconut soup was interesting - slightly milky and sweet, yet also savory - I don't think I'd try it again. The mini egg roll and half moon wonton are perfectly portioned deep fried goodness (even better when dipped in the sweet chili sauce they provide on the side). The best part is this place is rarely so packed that you can't get your food in a reasonable amount of time when you're on your lunch hour. read more

Bit overpriced, especially for brown rice, but the taste is decent. Brown rice as a side is $5, while subbing brown rice instead of white is $3. Pad Thai will be about $12, curry about $15, and appetizers around $7. We got the orange mock chicken, pad Thai, and pad see ew, all vegan. Our friends got the yum yum, broccoli with tofu, basil tofu, and orange tofu, also all vegan. Saw this place via google maps and worked in the area. It was mine turn to pick on a place on where for lunch from work and you can't go wrong with Thai food. You just can't. Came here on a Thursday afternoon, roughly around 1pm it wasn't that crowd, and wasn't empty. We got a table for four, and the waiter and waitress greeted us with the menu and some water. They still had the lunch special and that what's we were going for. Now I love Thai food but I'm highly allergic to coconut. ANYTHING COCONUT. Majority of Asian cuisines is made up of some coconut, rather its flakes, juice, coconut milk or coconut oil so I'm pretty much screw. Well not this place, I wanted something pasta (Thai pasta) but it came with red curry and I alerted the waiter about my allergy on coconut. He told me about how the chef can substitute it for the red jungle soup, he had to ask just incase but of course they were willing to. (Thank you ) I was super happy on that because a lot of places don't do that and you have to order something else or they actually put coconut in your meal. It's not a joke but this place. I love it. I've only gone twice (for lunch) but I'm sold!! I'll definitely be returning! Their lunch menu has a good amount of options and the lunch prices are definitely fair for the amount and quality! I've ordered their red curry with beef and with shrimp and both times super delicious/consistent. I also tried their house salad and soup that comes with the lunch (one or the other though) and love how they add en egg roll and another small side. I've also tried their Thai iced coffee and it was delicious (normal delicious Thai coffee). Customer service is also really good, brought hot chili sauces promptly and very attentive to water level, etc. Like I said, I'll be coming back :) read more

The drunken noodles we got mild because we are weaklings and it was perfect. Service was excellent. The food was very good. Portions are on the small side. We got the lunch specials for garlic pepper sauce chicken and pad see ewe. Noodles were flavorful and not clumpy so very well done and the garlic pepper sauce I ordered with Thai spice heat was delicious. My only small criticisms was that the scoop of rice that came with lunch specials was small. The salad and egg rolls that came with lunch special was tiny about 3-5 small bites between egg rolls and salad. We got Thai iced coffee and Thai iced teas and they were just ok. Ambiance was fine and while we enjoyed our lunch I don't think this will be a Thai restaurant that makes it into our regular rotation for Thai food read more

We've been going to Rose Apple for a couple of years now, before COVID19 and after. Their service is great and prices are fair. Since the COVID19 pandemic, we've been ordering our food to go, we live about 10 miles from Rose Apple and every time we arrive home from that 10 mile drive the food is still hot. With most restaurants that have food to go, it seems they short change you on the food portions, but Rose Apple will give you just as much food (if not more) in their to go containers as they would if you were eating there. If you love Thai or Chinese food, you need to give them a try, I can guarantee you, you won't be dissatisfied. read more

This is one of my favorite Thai places in the Inland empire. The yellow curry is on point. All the food is good that I have had. Very quick to process phone orders and the owner is really nice guy. Been a while since I reviewed Rose Apple and I had lunch here again today. I've been here fairly regularly over the last couple of months. I still cannot make myself order anything but my yummy Pad See Ew, but that's okay. I LOVE IT. My lunch buddy ordered the yellow curry lunch today and she said it was really good, while neither sweet or spicy, it had hints of both in the background of the flavor. I someday hope to order one of the curries! Maybe if I visit two days in a row, I can switch it up. Love the lunch specials since you get soup or salad and two little finger appetizers, as I mentioned in my last review! No changes there. It just feels like a really complete meal. Today they had the hot and sour soup and it was good... not so sour and not as delish as the coconut soups, but I just love Thai soups. So tasty and theirs do not disappoint. Service is almost always wonderful. They were hopping today, but still super friendly and attentive. It was a little warm in there. Don't know if the AC wasn't keeping up with all the bodies or if it just isn't keeping up wit the summer heat. But, not too hot to enjoy our meal. Today we finished with a treat. It's kind of what prompted me to write this update. Besides everything being just as wonderful as usual, today I tried their house made coconut ice cream. OH JOY! It was so super fantastic, rich coconuty flavor... I LOVED it and they sprinkle some peanuts on it - just a few, but it's a perfect topping. ORDER THIS! If you love coconut, you totally want this. My Wife and I recently dined here for the first time, and we liked it so much, we had a few of our friends meet us there a week or so later. It was a big hit with all of them as well! Glad to have found this "Diamond in the Rough." I mean that too, with emphasis on the "rough". This restaurant has everything you want in a Thai restaurant. Great service, great ambiance, great selection, and most of all, great food. The reason I put emphasis on the "rough" is the location. Located at the end of a dark cul-de-sac, this restaurant is located right next to "Douchebag's Bar& Grill." Honestly I don't know the real name of the place, but it used to be Margarita Bee-otch. Some you might have to tolerate a few seconds of obnoxiousness on your way into the restaurant. Once you walk into Rose Apple though, you find yourself lost in a Thai dream. The lighting is dimmed down a bit, the decor is aesthetically pleasing, and the staff is welcoming, friendly, and outgoing. You don't get any of that shy awkwardness that some asian restaurant employees tend to have. Truly a great vibe and a feeling of inclusion and quiet happiness. Unless the music from next door gets too loud and penetrates the wall, which happened to us for a few minutes. But I don't hold that against the restaurant owners. When we went the first time My Wife got the Basil Basil dish with Pork. She said "medium" spiciness. I guess "medium" means "hot" here so be warned. She loved the dish, but couldn't finish it because the heat eventually caught up to her. I tried it, and absolutely loved it. The copious amounts of basil and garlic sauce were fantastic, and the veggies were all cooked perfectly, with just a bit of crunch to them. She did end up finishing this dish for lunch the next day. She ordered the Basil Basil again the second time we came in, and this time, she ordered it "less spicy than medium". She ate that dish like there was no tomorrow. Just make sure you can take the heat, because even "medium" might kick your ass. I got the "Princess Duck" when I initially came in, just because it was a different (to me anyway) take on a Thai duck dish. This is truly a delightful meal. More duck meat that your standard duck plate, the meat maintains its fatty texture while managing to have a touch of crispiness on the skin. Don't get me wrong, plenty of lean meat, but still that great duck fat taste. It is served with your standard tomatoes, onions, etc. But it is sitting on crispy noodles, then slathered with a Mushroom Basil sauce, that, combined with the duck grease, renders the noodles less crispy, for a great texture combination as well. Sprinkle in some stir-fried mushrooms for good measure, and you have quite a treat before you. I got my normal Thai dish, "Red Curry Duck" the second time I came in. It was very good, but with significantly less duck meat. No less than any other restaurant however, and I thoroughly enjoyed the coconut broth in red curry with pineapple and all that other goodness. Sopped up with a grip of steamed rice, this dish competes with the recipes of other Thai establishments. I do however, prefer the Princess Duck. A buddy of mine got the "Pork Fried Rice." He is a Chef, and he said that whoever cooked this dish definitely knew what he was doing. 'Nuff said. My other Buddy got the "Seafood Boat" I believe it was called. Damn near a pot of seafood wrapped in foil, it was cut open for him at the table, and smelled divine. SO much food, he only managed to eat half of it before he threw in the towel. He described it best as a "Seafood medley on steroids". No, not actual steroids. His Wife got the Drunken Noodles, and said they were comparable to Drunken Noodles she had gotten elsewhere. We warned her about getting "medium" heat, and she told them "no heat please." The tomato slices on this dish are HUGE. My Sister-in-Law got Coconut Water, and it was an actual coconut with a straw in it. With some nice presentation. She then ordered a salad, (leave it up to the skinniest person at the table to get salad at a Thai spot) which bored me. I didn't pay any attention to what she was eating at that point. We tried a few appetizers amongst ourselves. The Golden Triangles were ok, kind of like mini chicken quesadillas, served well done. The Egg Rolls are ok, nothing more than cabbage wrapped in fried wonton. The Shrimp Suits are fantastic! They go great with the Plum Sauce, but they are great by-themselves as well. They would be awesome with a chili sauce of some kind, wonder if I could request that sometime? Anyways, if you like Thai food, you will definitely enjoy this place. read more

From the spices to the heat to the deep fried goodness of the sampler basket and the delicious desserts the only thing left was some rice we couldn't finish.... I was pleased that not only was the heat perfect for me, the flavor was there as well to really enjoy my Pad Woon Sen ...the others in my group enjoyed their dishes as well. Decent Thai Food in the IE. My Wife and I recently tried this place and being big Thai food fans, we were plenty skeptical. Food is good here. The crispy wonton triangles are huge and delicious and the food here can be ordered with a decent amount of spice (paramount to the wife and I). The pad thai is very tasty here and I would order it again. My one beef with this place is that their flat noodle dishes seem to lack some flavor. We've ordered both the pad see eww and the drunken noodles (pad kee mow) and while they were cooked decently, they were both lacking in flavor. Our drunken noodles had plenty of heat which we requested but lacked any real flavor. The pad see eww seemed bland, as if they didn't use enough of the sweet thai soy sauce. Again, both dishes were prepared well with the noodles cooked properly, but they just seemed to be missing some flavor. On a high note, the spicy beef larb come highly recommended! FBI (Fried Banana Ice Cream ) was very good as well. Service is inconsistent. We've been here 2 times and while the first visit was stellar, it seems like we were ignored most of the time on our second visit. We'll have to return to see if the service/noodles get any better. read more

OK, this is the new mandatory food stop on the trip from LA to Palm Springs. Reasons: 1. mango sticky rice: best ever, large mango and very subtly flavored sticky rice, beautifully presented. Oops, haven't talked about the main dishes yet. Sorry,but dessert is important. 2. green curry: chicken was fresh and tender; vegetables still had some crunch (especially the beans), making a nice counterpoint to the intensity of the sauce. 3. the staff: genuinely happy to talk with us. They even helped us understand some of the art work. There are two especially beautiful pieces, large framed copper likenesses of two deities, crafted by a monk who lives in the area. 4. the brown rice. Is this a big deal? Yes, first because it's on the menu, and second because it's perfectly prepared. There are probably more reasons. We'll order different things next time and find out! read more
