    Clam Chowder

Great place for a nice dinner in Oceanside. I had the Clam Chowder, Alaskan Halibut, and Marionberry cobbler. Everything was terrific! The Halibut was cooked perfectly: very light and delicate. Space is bright and open with great view of the ocean. And the live music (mellow jazz guitar) was a real treat! Service was great.

We loved this place! Super cute with stunning beachside views. Food was delicious and save room for the Marionberry Cobbler Ala Mode.

I have been dining here since 1995, so this was my 5th or 6th time to eat here, and it's where I wanted to go to for my birthday. The ladies are gone but the grandsons are continuing the tradition of good food and hospitality. We arrived at 12:45 and waited about 20 minutes for a table. I ordered the crab cakes and they were wonderful. Fresh crab meat, seasoned, and grilled perfectly, plus the roasted potatoes were excellent. My wife ordered the fried Oysters and she devoured them. She did share half of one with me, it was fresh, lightly battered, well seasoned, and grilled perfectly. When in the northern Oregon coastal area Roseanna's Cafe is well worth the drive to Oceanside.

Every time we visit Pacific City, Rosesanna's is our go-to spot! Located right on the beach, the views of the ocean are simply breathtaking. The cafe has a small but cozy atmosphere, and you can even find various coastal treasures for sale. The service feels like home, and you can truly taste the love in their homemade dishes. The portions are generous--enough to ensure you have leftovers for breakfast the next day! If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check out this delightful cafe. You won't regret it!

Great place to stop for lunch or dinner on the coast. There aren't many restaurants options in Oceanside but if there were more I'd still go to Roseanne's!! For breakfast we had the French toast and shrimp+ crab English muffin dish. French toast had fresh Marion berries which I loved. For dinner we had the Bloody Mary (which was amazing, as someone coming from Wisconsin), Tillamook burger, and the salmon special. Salmon was great, so fresh! Burger was delicious also. Clam chowder was my favorite! Service was excellent for how busy they were. Staff were charming and so welcoming. They do get busy so plan to wait or put your name in ahead. You could find parking in the beach lot or on the street, but again it gets crowded and Oceanside does not have a lot of parking.

Location is in a tiny Oceanside town with a view from the back windows. It's decor is lacking could use some updating. The foods was surprisingly very good. Clam chowder, chocolate caramel cake & the Crab cakes were amazing!

Update to my previous review: I dinned in for dinner the other night as my family wanted to eat here, it being one of the few restaurants open on a Monday. I was pleasantly impressed with my experience. Our server took wonderful care of us. For my dinner I ordered the small baguette along with the cheese and olive board. The baguette was absolutely amazing, i suggest asking for a side of their local honey to add onto it. The cheese and olive board was also super delicious and had a variety of Brie, cheddar curds, pepper jack and Gouda: all of my favorites! I also ordered a margarita and I thought it was delicious. Can't wait to come back for dinner again in the future. Glad I gave you all another try!

We drove down…read morefrom Seaside (approx 1 hour + stop for Rockaway Big Cedar walk) and arrive at noon, peak lunch time. Cafe was a bit of a mess of people queuing so I took the advice from the boards and downloaded and ordered from the app, then grabbed some pizza for myself. App said my order was ready but order wasn't ready so had to wait. Ordered pulled pork and pineapple pizza because it seemed easy and again told to wait. It was unclear where they wanted me to wait or how they would call my number. I picked up my app order (burgers, cheese curds, mac and cheese and fruit), then went back to pizza corner to find my order was just sitting there. Advice: do not download the app (not worth it) unless you do that in advance so you don't need to enter all the sign up details. App mobile order pickup is at the pizza counter. If you order pizza, just wait for them to hand it to you, even though they will tell you to wait and it won't be right away. It is, in fact, just there. Would rate this 2 stars for cafe. However! We loved our paid tour Ice Cream Experience! Also the self guided tour of the creamery. The place was busy (Wednesday summertime), but parking was found and we got to see and do everything we wanted except maybe cheese samples. (The line was long, we skipped it). I've been here a number of times over the years and I think it's still a worthwhile visit on occasion. Kids loved ice cream tour ($35/person), we did too. We learned about all the milk delivered and ice cream made every day at Tillamook and the flavors and method- we tried a new product ice cream bar (delish!) and then got 4 large samples (think 4 scoops!) of ice cream. No allergies so we got to try everything. Left with ice cream pins and pink ceramic stackable cone cups.

The walls are alive with local art, colors dancing, Grateful Dead vibes everywhere you look. Even the menu's singing... dish names straight out of a setlist, like you're ordering breakfast at a show that never really ended. Now the Marionberry French toast... oh man. That one hits like a perfect riff at just the right moment. Sweet, rich, and laid back in all the right ways and like it knew exactly why you showed up. They've got fresh baked goods dialed in too and this is their thing, and you can taste it in every bite. Service? Kinda like a wandering solo... not always in sync, not always warm, but hey the music (aka the food) keeps the whole thing together. In the end, it's one of those places you stumble into and remember later with a smile. If the road ever brings us back through Pacific City, we'll swing by again and let it play on.

Our boys looked forward to it when they were 8, and they still look forward to it now that they're in their 20s. The scones are amazing--the savory ham & cheese is our favorite--and the breakfasts are a good way to start the day. There is sometimes a wait (esp on weekend mornings in the summer) but it's worth the wait. You can also get their scones and baked goods to go from their counter, so if you see a line, don't let it scare you from going in to see if there's a table! Usually very nice servers and everyone seems friendly and relaxed. Hard to be uptight with the laid back vibe of The Grateful Dead all around. I don't know why I never thought to review it before, but Grateful Bread is an integral part of our annual beach trip!
