I have been coming to this pizzeria & restaurant for over 25 years, since I was a young man. I've always loved the food and I love the people that work here. Everyone should be able to go to their favorite pizza spot, just like their favorite barber shop and have a friendly chat, and even be able to joke around like you are more than acquaintances, and this is one of those spots, and definitely a part of my food family. I love their pizza, both the regular pie and the Sicilian pie, which somehow are nearly like two different pizzas, but both equally as delicious. if you stop in for pizza by the slice I highly recommend you try both of them. are chicken cutlet sandwiches or their chicken salad is also one of my favorites. There are some traditional, or old school ways that many great places to eat have such as old style pizzerias, grills, and the like, but you will get by just fine, so long as you do not need mustard or ketchup on any of your food as this is not offered, no french fries, as they like to keep their menu geared towards Italian food found at pizzerias. besides, they are so busy they can't be bothered with small menu items as they do not deliver however offers services such as Uber eats or GrubHub and similar services if you search online. I will always recommend then, they treat you like you're part of their food family, usually remembering thousands and thousands of people's names, speaking Italian, Spanish, and Polish fluently. Just average pizza. Pie slices were had a hard crust that cracked when folded, cheaper variety of cheese, and not much sauce. The Sicilian has a thick, dense bread-like crust that was chewy. The sauce was fresh tasting, which was the best part of the slice. The cons: - Downright unfriendly staff - many dirty tables, no one going around cleaning them, especially during lunch. - Pizza options were not on display. Could tell what they sell. Most places have a glass covered rack for viewing so you can choose. This is the first pizza place I've been to that doesn't display their pizza. - Bottled drinks only. Would I return? No, as there are better options in the area, which have better tasting pizza and cleaner dining areas. read more

I ordered a Sicilian and plain slice to go. Sicilian was okay, crust was crispy but the bread wasn't the typical thick Sicilian far. Cheese/sauce was good but remained reminiscent of Ellios. The plain slice's cheese fell off the pizza and into the bag. I think that explains itself. read more

Never in my life have I ordered a COLD Italian sub and have the bread toasted(more burnt then anything)....doesn't state that anywhere on the menu. Maybe if it wasn't burnt I would eat it. My sandwich also came with Mayosomething i 100% didn't ask for. Again it states on the menu to ASK FOR MAYO AND I DID NOT. I think there is one slice of each meat which is an absolute rip off. Not sure what kind of Italians cook here but you can get a better sandwich at Wawa. Another bummer meatball sub tasted like freezerburn meatballs, flavorless. Just bad. Very very bad. read more

I love the Italian sub from here. The bread is crusty, the meat is fresh, and the veggies/hot peppers are delicious. I could eat the Italian sub for every meal. The people are great, friendly, and the service is fast. No delivery, but who cares...it is so good. You can eat in, but definitely more of a take out place. There is a huge parking lot. Delicious pizza. Both the regular and sicilian. They get a lot of business so most of the time the slices are fresh. Subs are tasty and they toast the bread. They don't give much meat and isn't the greatest quality but it still tastes great. Chicken parm stands out. I am very disappointed in the veal parm. It was rough and chewy. And the meatballs could be better. Mussels are good but can be a bit sandy. They don't deliver and the parking can be annoying. Sometimes you have to wait for a space for a few minutes. First time here and one thing is definite and that is these people love what they do and it showed. Great personalities and customer service was some of the best I ever experienced. The owner had jokes for days lol. A little bit of a potty mouth lol but It didn't bother me particularly. You could see with regulars coming in that they are like this 24/7 and I respect that. Genuinely great people made me feel like have been coming there for 20 years on my first visit. This is definitely one place that is not stingy on the portions. My chicken parm sub was real deal. They showed me the bread if would come and I told my son we could just share one sandwich lol. In honesty if your eating it for lunch you might even be able to split it, not me! I also had a slice of pizza (Not Pictured) which was on NY pizza type quality. I love this place already I will be a regular here in the future. I've moved to Massachusetts few years ago and every few weeks I still get a craving for their plain cheese pie. I'm a veggie lover but when it comes to pizza, cheese and sauce is all you want. I guess it's cause that's what I was raised on. I'm form Wallington, just over the bridge. Used to go there for lunch in high school. $2 two slices and soda. Omg I was in heaven. The guy behind the counter has been there the whole time I've known this place. I'm not sure if he's an owner or a worker but he knows their food in and out. He's great. Sandwiches are also fabulous. Especially the Sicilian.They are pretty much my go to place for quick and tasty slices. Plain is good too! Sandwiches are also consistent, tasty, and super filling. Still have yet to try some others. I mainly rock the number 10 but I am curious about the meatball and chicken parms. They keep it old school with simple ingredients.They specialize in keepin it real! It works for them so don't fix something that is not broken! Nice price too! It's just a real quality pizza joint! Nice portions for the right price. Great antipasta salad..the dressing is very tasty but you might have to add lettuce since they put so much meat and cheese in it. They now take credit cards which makes it easier. Wow this place is good! I love their sub #8 with everything! I was skeptical of the reviews but it really is delicious and I'm so happy since I missed the Italian deli near my old apt in queens which had a great subs too. My husband who was skeptical as well (I tried it before him) apologized after trying it for questioning my food judgement. ;) As other reviewers mentioned, their Sicilian is also very good. Hubby and I got a whole pie with mushrooms and pepperoni once. It was kind pricey, I think $22 (?) but worth it since its huge and we froze most of them. They heat up nicely and reminds me a bit of a pan pizza (probably because it seems buttered up on the bottom of the crust). One item to note is that I love that they use real mushrooms instead of the cheap stuff out of a can that others use (unless I'm being fooled!). I wish they delivered but we're happy to make the trip. I want to support my local pizza joints in town but sorry, Rose's is so much better. :( read more
