I came on Super Bowl Sunday, which I expected a busy restaurant. We ordered beer, wings, and a pizza. The beer and wings were out promptly, but the pizza never came. After 35 minutes we asked some other server that we have been waiting for 35 minutes. She apologized and was on a mission. She asked around and than after 40 mins with only 2:34 left on the game notified us that our pizza was given to the wrong table and that it would be another 15 for our pizza to come out. Came in for the lunch buffet today (06/06/19). The food was good, but in short supply. Waited in a long line for the buffet. Not because it was busy, but because there were no plates. After waiting an extended time for the plates, there was no food. Waited again. Then only one pizza was brought out. Staff didn't appear to mind making the customers wait. Whenever I'm about to knock a place; I always check other people's reviews to see if I'm being out of line. Sure enough, I'm not. First though, let me say that their pizza is really good. Their lunch buffet on weekdays is the best deal in town. I mean, $7.99 for all the pizza and salad you can eat? You're going to have to look long and hard for a better deal with such good pizza. However, the service in this place is AWFUL. Did you read what I wrote? AWFUL. I've been there 5 times. Twice at their lunch buffet (where you serve yourself, so you can't get bad service), Once at a booth, and twice at a bar. Both times at the bar, I had to wait WAY TOO LONG just for a drink! This last time, my friend and I literally clocked it, and we waited FIFTEEN EFFING MINUTES to get a beer, and it WAS NOT THAT BUSY INSIDE!! The dudes next to us had been waiting for a drink before WE got there! My buddy literally had to flag down the manager just to get a beer for everyone. Including the people next to us! The dude next to us bought my buddy a drink out of appreciation (he told us that he asked the bartender 3 times and she kept forgetting!). Sure, the bartender tried to be bubbly, funny and "entertaining" but of the SIX THINGS we ordered (4 beers and 2 food items) she consistently forgot them all. I mean EACH AND EVERY ONE! In fact, you're going to think I'm making this up when I tell you that she literally put my beer glass under the tap, then FORGOT TO POUR IT as she went on to handle receipts!!! I'M NOT KIDDING YOU!!!! I wouldn't have been happy with this terrible service, even if the bartender looked like GD BEYONCE!!! I WANT MY BEER, DOG GONE IT!!! That was the last time I went there. The time before that, the bartender was also really friendly, but she also didn't serve me for a good long time either. She also took forever to ring me up. Oh, both times when I got this crappy service at the bar; I was told that "people called off today". Now let me tell you this: I'm TOTALLY understanding when service is SLOW because of a shorthanded crew. However, this last time, I got NO SERVICE WHATSOEVER from the bartender! This place seems to think that they can hire cheerful bartenders, in hopes that they'll cover up their terrible service by making you smile. Well, I'm here to tell you, buddy; when I come to a sports bar, I want four things: A) Sports on TV, B) My BEER, C) My food, and D) DECENT SERVICE. My bf and I went for the lunch buffet after running errands. Unfortunately, the errands ended right when they opened for lunch. We were the first ones there. We were greeted right away and seated close to the buffet because the place was empty and we said we were having the buffet. But there was no pizza out yet. So, -1 star for that. I'm a careful eater - and I don't think pineapple belongs on pizza! - and no ingredient lists were provided, so my only safe choice was pepperoni. As there were few people there, the pizza was not going fast, so it took awhile for new pizza to come out. I went back. Again, only pepperoni for me, and from the same pie as earlier. -1 star. Round Table, PLEASE put ingredient cards next to the pizzas!!!!!! Bf liked all the selections. The salad choices were good. My bf said I made a very pretty salad. Lol. Wish I'd taken a picture. The breadsticks were good. The restaurant has a very open and friendly atmosphere. There are tv's everywhere, even outside. The problem is, no sound. No commentary for the games (not that I would spend a football day there with the high prices for drinks they charge). -1 star. I drove down from Big Bear Lake with my three young daughters (7,4 and an 8 months). I placed an online order before getting to RTP so that it would be ready when we got there because I knew with these little ones they wouldn't want to wait around to eat. When we arrived, I told the hostess I did an online order but we wanted to dine in. So she charged us for our order then seated us at a table and got a highchair for the baby. Our pizzas were then brought out by a man and delivered to our table in the cardboard boxes. I just looked at him confused and then asked if he could get us some plates to eat off. He then brought over three plastic plates that were filled with water. So I got up with the plates and took them to another male server and asked him if this was normal procedure to serve pizzas to the table in the boxes with wet plates. He apologized and brought us clean dry plates and told me he'd let the manager know of the circumstance. The server came back and told me he told the manager and said there must have been confusion because we placed the order ahead of time as a "to go" order. I then explained to him why I did it that way and told him I told the hostess that we were dining there. Makes sense that I did being that she seated us and got a highchair for the baby. In conclusion, the manager never came over to talk to me personally about the problem which is poor customer service on their part especially since there were many empty tables and the restaurant wasn't anywhere close to being busy. But, the pizza was descent. The cheese pizza we ordered must have been made by someone afraid of putting cheese on because there was a skimpy amount of cheese on it as you could see the sauce right through the cheese. Their food has always been amazing but service was horrible in the beginning and much better now. Hey Roundtable pick a lane...sportsbar or family restaurant. If you are a sports bar then I would like to be able to listen to the game not Meatloaf songs from decades ago. The food is good but the atmosphere struggles for an identity and makes me feel as those management is just not that interested in making what could be a very fun environment that folks want to spend time in. The food was good. My daughter put two tokens in a game in the arcade and the game didn't work. When I told one of the workers about it she said "oh that game takes three or four tokens". I said "it says on the game 2 tokens". She then replied that "it takes 3 or 4 tokens". So I said "can my daughter get her tokens back". She went and got the tokens and when I said thank you she replied with "mmmm hmmm". I was there for a birthday party and my niece had already told me that that same lady was rude to her earlier. If you like your pizza raw in the middle this is the place for you. It is raw and gummy just under the toppings. The bottom may be crispy and the gooeyness in the middle feels like extra cheese but, it is not extra cheese. It is raw dough, ooze, gumminess which is not good for anyone but ninja turtles. Twice I ordered pizza from here. I took the second one back. They replaced it with another gummy contribution. I took it home and cooked it for an hour and the gumminess did not resolve. I went to get it out of the oven and I dropped it all over the floor so, I gave it the trashcan burial that it deserved and I just cooked my dinner. That was 25 dollars down the drain. I miss the sports bar that used to be at this location. The Roundtable that took its place has a limited menu. The service is hit and miss. I hvae had excellent service and I have had poor service. It depends on who you get for your srever. the lunch pizza nd salad buffet is good value but they take a long time to restock the pizza and the pickings are lean. Same goes for the salad. I love rounds, the only down fall is the price, but is so worth it. Normally we love eating here every time we come but tonight our order was wrong and this pizza isn't cheap. If my husband had time to wait for a new pizza he would have but we just didn't have the time today. We pay extra for things we like on a pizza and it's really disappointing when you don't put the extra toppings we paid for. We asked for red sauce on the pizza and we got white sauce, plus toppings were kind of thrown on parts of the pizza and some slices just had cheese. It was sloppy even for pizza. read more
