This place has the worst customer service ever. Seems like they are hiring people straight out of high school or maybe still in school. No nice greeting whatsoever. & they never have people working the food/bar area. If you want to order you have to wait 15-20 mins til someone gets there for some reason. So it takes time out of your game play. & I see employees walking around too but I guess they can't do food orders or beer orders. Waste of time. This is a great addition to Salinas as I believe it will give the youth in this town a safe outlet to meet up with friends! However the prices are extremely high so most people will just use this place as a meet up, maybe get soda and nachos but that's it!!!!! I came here at 11:30 on a Monday with a 4 year old child. The first thing I noticed was the escalator wasn't working, not a big deal we took the stairs, super dirty stairs! You would think the night cleaning crew recently left so that wouldn't have been one of my first impressions but it was! I can only imagine how dirty this place will look 6 months from now! Once we got upstairs I was impressed at how big and high tech it appeared! It didn't even feel like I was in Salinas! We went over to the customer service desk where I purchased a game card. I bought a $20 game card which cost $2 to activate (just sell it as a $22 game card!) not a huge issue, I think it was around 88 points. Started walking around the arcade with the 4 yo seeing the cost of each game (averages around 10 pts per game). We kept walking, looking for an area with games a younger child could play. They didn't exist! No children games at all!!!! The worst was when we went to grab lunch and the first thing the snack bar employee said was "just to inform you we are out of all the pizzas, hot wings and chicken strips". The only option left was burgers! I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. When I got my order I asked for ketchup, that's when I was informed they were out, oh and out of mustard! Thanks, I would have liked to know that at the beginning as well! How hard would it have been for management to at least bought ketchup at the local grocery store considering burgers were the only menu option! Anyways, it looks nice (if it stays clean)! Bowling is a much better deal on the south side but this is good for the kids roaming the mall looking for something to do! read more

Great Fun, Concept, and games. I like the Kids Pass and the all day happy hour beers. The Tv's and Music are a great touch. Came here opening day and it wasn't too busy, yet their POS is not what it should. No lines for the games but the lines for the prizes, bowling, beer, and food are all tremendously long. Hopefully they get faster. Otherwise Monterey Peninsula needed this and it will definitely help the community. Awesome time. read more

If I could give this place a 0 star review I would. They are super racist especially the manager who we've had previous incidents with and has too much of an ego. I did not get his name but he is african american. It almost seems as if he doesn't train his workers as they are very inexperienced. In this occasion my husband who just came from mexico and I went for a beer in the bar area. We waited 30 minutes for a beer with no line because the "bartender" didn't know how to pour a beer. After waiting for so long, they prohibited to sell my husband a beer because of his visa even though his id was a state issued id. I left and when I finished my beer I went back for another beer only to be told that I was prohibited from buying. I am never one to leave reviews in anything but this is the second time something like this happens, like I said. The first time something like this happened I went with family and we were told by the same manager that we were not allowed to be together because we were a big group. We were 8 including our children. This time we ended up leaving to Valley Center Bowl, and even saw a couple who was also at round 1 and said it's not the same as before. Anyway, Valley Center Bowl has a 10/10 open bar and have never had any problems there. read more

I would give zero starts if that was an option. Worst bowling alley experience ever. The rental shoes were covered in sticky stuff, so impossible to slide. Also, impossible to slide as the wood apron was sticky as well. Never bowl here or just stand at the line and throw the ball. Beyond that, it's overpriced. What a rip! read more

Never coming here again, employees were rude and interrupted our karoke session saying we were " messing around " when we were actually just singing laying on the couches and having a good time. Wow! Im surprised how big it is. I've been to the one in San Jose, and it's not as great and big as this one. There is security which is a good thing because I feel much safer in the place, thank you mall security. There is so many games, lots of bowling lanes, and a big ticket redeeming center. The bowling lanes are nice and clean. They have the best customer service. I asked one of the ladies at the counter about the cards and she explained the cards to me perfectly. I have had employees come up to me to give me tips on the claw machine games which was a really nice gesture because their tips help me win. The ticket prize area was really clean and nice, it feels like I'm shopping in the store. They have cute things. The food was really good and the ice cream cone was worth it for $1. I will definitely come back here, my kids and I LOVE IT! read more

Fun fun fun, staff is helpful and will reset your games for you if you ask. Especially when I jam the stuffed animals or even mess up the hooks when I play those. I've played the new marble game and the Wizard of Oz coin pushers, I even found Toto! We haven't tried bowling yet, maybe next time. We've Eaten pizza, wings, and shake it Fries on some of our visits. Nice staff in all areas. Especially friendly April she was a gem! When my boys come home for the weekend they always ask Round 1?? Should have listened to all these reviews and picked ANYWHERE else to celebrate my birthday. Arcade games were a ginormous rip off. All the food we ordered was overcooked and gross. The bowling balls were way greasier than they needed to be and left oil all over our hands. Women's restrooms were closed because someone threw up all over the huge bathroom. When they finally re-opened the smell of vomit was overwhelming. I'll drive to Dave and busters next time. read more

If you want flashy and expensive, this is the place. The bowling is overpriced. In another instance recently, I also called in to see if lanes were opened around 8:15, and they said yes, but if I couldn't make it by 8:30 they wouldn't give me the lanes. I was in the parking lot and they still suggested not to come up. Pretty bad start for a new resident. I ended up going to the bowling alley on main. Way easier and cheaper. read more

Ordered food and the food is very burnt didn't eat it ! we also ordered ice cream cones and the guy was previously cleaning the grill with THE MANAGER and they were using a chemical and the guy didn't bother changing his gloves and was handling cash as well and served our cones with the same gloves it was disgusting. If you order food be careful i wouldn't be surprised if these people don't wash their hands while going to the bathroom especially the manager watching them handle food with dirty greasy black gloves so gross!!! Not sure how this place has bad reviews. Every time we go my son has a blast. It's not expensive. It's one of, if not, THE best arcade in the area. And even when it's full it's never too crowded. Look forward to going again. *** The food service is horrible but that's because of the setup. They're not suited to feed the capacity of patrons that go there. So eat before going. The workers in the kitchen looked so overwhelmed and I actually felt bad for them. Guests were all angry about the dining situation. So I think they should just get rid of it. read more

Awesome place for kids. It does get a little crowded sometimes, but my kids love it overall. It has a nice atmosphere since it's new, and the prices on bowling are reasonable. The location is convenient for adults because the mall is below it, leaving many opportunities to shop around in between times. read more

This place was the worst. The customer service was horrible. We had a large group of people all local from the area and the bar server was as not helpful at all. All of the drinks we tried to order were out, and they actually had the bottles "displayed" but wouldn't pour them. Then when we tried to order food we were told they didn't have pizza and then the people behind us ordered pizza and was given it. The wings were frozen bag wings and just over sauced! When we tried to talk to the manager (Eurice) she was not helpful and just dismissed our concerns. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Food took forever and I understand when they're busy that happens but this was a ridiculous amount of time. We got our order and we were missing part of it. We let them know about food that was missing and the second round of food came out with food still missing. We asked for a refund since it had taken way too long and there was no way we could wait more time. We were basically accused of lying and the staff told the manager that we had received all our items. Which wasn't true at all. On top of that another customer complained that their wings were raw and we also noticed a couple other mistakes from the kitchen staff. Customer service here is trash. read more

Customer Service needs extra work especially the manager. First time was there for a company event. I was not there most of the afternoon and when I returned, I was accused of pulling a staff members hair, which makes no sense. Didn't even come near a staff of there's when I was there and was band permanently for it. My boss was also turned away from this place just because she requested for better clarification on another situation which also did not make sense. The Manager there needs to get demoted immediately before this place goes underground. This company does not deserve to suffer for their poorly judgements and their poor customer service. read more

We paid over $500 for what was the most chaotic 7 year old birthday party I've ever encountered. There was not 1 adult managing that place - they were literally all kids! We assumed they'd have someone there keeping things on point but nope - no one could be found when needed. Not even a printed agenda was given to us either. They give you 15 minutes to set up and decorate a room which is not even enough time. And for 500 bucks you think they'd already have it decorated so they could move kids in and out party after party but nope that didn't happen. They have a nasty little 20 year old Asian manager want to be, with a tattooed neck choker running the place. She was very rude. She has no business working with kids and should be fired. Karaoke was in the package but no one showed us how to even use it - Three of the ten bowling lanes weren't working properly and you'd think they would have put the bumpers down BEFORE the kids played but nope- that never happened. The pizza was not cooked - cold and hard - they only good thing about the place was their fried chicken and they did have some decent games. The 10 security guards made everyone uneasy as it felt like they were expecting a riot to break out at any moment. And the wine and beers were $15! - My advice for a fun kids party is to go to chucky cheese or Salinas/Monterey Bowl instead. read more

With nothing modern for the kids/adults to do in salinas, but the outdated bowling alley or chuck e cheese, this place was highly anticipated! We got there the wed after opening weekend at about 3:30pm to avoid the late night/weekend crowd. The escalator wasnt in service so we took the stairs since there was only one elevator (its located upstairs in the mall) The carpet was dirty im assuming since its been raining a lot lately. when you enter it looks like kid heaven tons of games, bright lights ect. walk to the back, there is a food shack, and the bar/tables right next to it and the lines to buy karaoke, bowling/fun cards. what sucks is bowling and karaoke are in one line so if you want to buy a card to play games you have to go into another line, which would suck if the lines were long. we decided to just bowl, it was easy to get our shoes in an automated locker, lanes were clean super cool looking lighting is nice in the building, we will def return, with or without kids. drink well specials 1.99 all day and bottles of beer/cider $5. food prices are good. bowling for 3 people, one game and 3 shoes was $32.00. read more

The customer service in this place sucks bad!! I have been here twice, once with a friend just for a beer and 2nd time I thought I would take my kids to give it a try. Huge disappointment!! All lines for food and bar are extremely slow and the staff stares at you for 15+ minutes without asking you for your order or to even greet you. When I was there with my kids, we had a bad experience in the game prize room. The girl at the counter did not know how to add and she did not know how much each prize was worth even after I showed her what the bin said.. ugh. The Manager was no help and was very rude, his name was Devawn. He should be embarrassed of his lack of management skills. NOTE TO OWNERS: Hire intelligent, quick, friendly staff who can work in a fast paced family environment. You need a real Manager who knows what he/she is doing. read more
