As someone who belongs to several wine clubs, I was excited to discover a spot like this right in my own backyard. The showroom selection was beautiful, and the chocolate offerings (especially the blood orange dark chocolate) were a standout. Unfortunately, the experience quickly went downhill due to the service. When I asked the sommelier about their champagne, his response came across as arrogant and dismissive, implying that "everyone knows" it was entry-level and basic. It felt unnecessary and off-putting, especially when I was genuinely interested. After enjoying the band for a bit, my friends and I decided to sit on the outdoor patio, which looked very inviting. As I walked out, the sommelier actually chased after me along with another man from the doorway to tell me I couldn't take my wine outside. It felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily confrontational. When I asked why there was a seating area if drinks weren't allowed, the response was unclear and inconsistent. Overall, this place has great potential and a lovely atmosphere, but the sommelier's attitude really ruined the experience. It's especially disappointing if he is the owner, because that sets the tone for the entire establishment.

They honestly have some of the best cheesesteaks and the meat is well seasoned and flavorful. The cheese sauce is also very flavorful as well. We shared the large west coast cheesesteak and cheesy tots both with chipotle cheese sauce added to it and it was more than enough for two people. It was absolutely delicious! The cheesy sauce was a bit on the saltier end since the tots and the sandwich were both drenched in it but it was good. Next time we plan to order the sandwich with provolone instead of the cheese sauce. Service was excellent! The workers there are really kind and provided us with paper bowls and utensils since they knew we were sharing. There's some seating inside and outside the shop, but the shop is small. Plenty of parking located in the plaza with other shared businesses. Would highly recommend!

It was packed with juicy meat! I do wish there were some more veggies mixed in and a bit more cheese, but I can't complain too much about the size. I really enjoyed every bite of this cheesesteak! We also got some Tater Tots that were, surprisingly, still crazy crispy when we had them. Unfortunately, they were dripping in oil to the point where you could really taste it. I understand that's what it takes to make them this crispy, but it felt gross eating them.

I started with an incredible appetizer featuring several varieties of fried mushrooms paired with red wine--absolutely delicious and full of flavor. For my entrée, I enjoyed the shrimp pasta with white wine sauce, which was perfectly prepared and tasted authentic and fresh. To finish the meal, I had the apple crust dessert topped with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding dinner. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. Honestly, for a moment I felt like I was sitting in a restaurant in Italy. I highly recommend Pane E Vino and will definitely be returning. Five stars all the way!

Well, okay. We were there and we were hungry. It's a small place with big attitude. Great vibes, low lighting, cozy seating. We sat down and browsed through the menu. The server came over and said he'd move us to a bigger table. THANK YOU! We finally decided on food. We all had crab cakes appetizers. I had the spicy honey pepperoni pizza and Cesar salad. Coworker had the peso buco with risotto, and the other had the lasagna. We had some fresh rosemary rolls while we waited. Everyone was very satisfied with their food. The girls decided to have desert which we all shared. Tiramisu and cannolis. I don't care for tiramisu so I just had a little taste. I did enjoy a cannoli. The server was super friendly and he knew how to sell you on anything on that menu. I would make the drive to visit here again.

I specifically watched this occur while my order was being prepared, when I asked her if she changed gloves her response was " I have extra gloves here" I asked again if she switched gloves while handling different meats and she said she can re do my trays again. Afterward, I called the store and spoke with a manager named Liz, who told me they had been advised by the health department that employees did not need to change gloves between handling different raw meats. That response was surprising to me. Under the California Retail Food Code, food employees are required to prevent cross contamination of food, and single use gloves must be changed whenever contamination could occur and may not be used for multiple tasks without proper handwashing and glove changes. Specifically, California Health & Safety Code §§ 113961 and 113973 address preventing contamination and the proper use of single-use gloves. Based on what I personally witnessed, I did not feel confident that proper cross-contamination prevention practices were being followed. Separately, my brother became seriously ill after consuming food purchased there and was later diagnosed with a Salmonella infection. I cannot say with certainty where the infection originated, but given what I observed, I felt it was important to share my experience. What makes this especially disheartening is that I genuinely love the food here and have been a customer because of the quality of the products they sell. I wanted to continue supporting this business, but after witnessing these food handling practices and receiving the response I did when I raised my concerns, I no longer feel confident that proper food safety precautions are being followed. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and reviews its practices to ensure customer safety.

Fast forward I called in today gentleman answered, put me on hold came back and was greeted with "what do you want?" "Yes can I place an order for 2 Colossal sandwich's." Before I could say what kind I wanted I was rudely interrupted "I said what do you want? What kind of sandwich!?" I repeated what I wanted He repeated "what kind of sandwiches do you want? I said can have it with Turkey Pastrami and Turkey. I was told no repeatedly on the turkey pastrami. -First the Turkey pastrami is too expensive it's an added $50 I said that's fine and he continued to persuade me to not get it -Second because now it's too much work to put on a sandwich because you know The Colossal is pretty big. (Seems like the works too much for them) So at the end of the day I went with the big corporate sandwich shop because I got my questions answered, they weren't rude, actually tried to upsell me instead of telling me no it's "too expensive" Lesson learned: teach your employees how to talk to customers. Thanks for the time and the so so service.

I bought the: - Tofu pudding/dessert tofu/dou hua with brown sugar on the side - Delicious and silky! The brown sugar was light and added just enough sweetness to complement the tofu. - Taro buns (5 ct) - This is the best taro bun my family and I ever had. The breadskin is so light and fluffy. The taro paste filling was not overly dense nor sweet. You can really taste the taro in the filling. - Organic scallion buns (6 ct) - This is the best scallion bun my family and I ever had. We could taste the scallion flavor without it being too strong. The bun was a touch denser than the taro bun. - Meat and veggie buns - The meat and veggie filling was delicious and not too saltym. The veggies in the filling still has a crunch to them (unlike buns I've tried from other places). The bun itself was light and not too dense. - Unsweetened soy milk - The soy milk was light and the perfect consistency. It isn't thick or grainy like some other soy milks can be. - Tofu jerky - Flavorful, but not too salty. Great pairing with a bowl of rice! - Zongzi (Taiwanese style) - Delicious and light. Also not too salty or rich. The shop itself is small, but very clean and organized. The shop owner is so cute and enthusiastic about all of her products. She shared how to best store them since she doesn't use preservatives and how to heat them. There is a handwritten menu in Chinese on a board to the side of the refrigerated section. The refrigerator doors also had photos of the item with the name in English and Chinese, and the price. The non-refrigerated part of the store has shelves with sauces you could use to prepare/cook your tofu. Cash and credit cards (MasterCard and Visa) accepted, although there is a 5% charge for using credit card. They're located at the very end of Front St (dead end). They're in the brick building with no signage/store name. If the door is locked during the posted business hours, just ring the doorbell and the owner will open the door for you. Parking is shared with other shops on this street. With the flow of customers coming and going, I never had any issues finding a spot.
