Rubios is one of my favorites. Grilled gourmet shrimp tacos is my jam. However this location needs some work. I've stopped going here very often because it's not kept clean and the food looks sad. I'm all about them if they can have some pride in their store! Other Rubios locations get a better rating from me they care! This one served with about 3 miniature pieces of steak (could barely tell there was any), the thinnest slices of avocado I've ever seen (1 sliver each) and despite my request to have none, loaded them up with onions. Ordered the Family Burrito Box for $29. Delivery was free (through DoorDash) but tips were expected. It was a small discount compared to the regular prices and came in a huge box with different compartments which was a little hard to dispose. The burritos were soaked in the liquid from black beans. Most of the complimentary sides I ordered were missing for some reason. I will probably not order it again. Rubio's has a fresh new look with a major focus on sustainable seafood, and it's working great. I had the "coastal trio" which comes with three tacos - tilapia, shrimp, and original fish. All three were excellent, with the standout being the tilapia. The fish was light and flaky, nicely browned on the outside, and accompanied with a tasty sauce. The filet was also huge and could have probably filled two tacos! I received smiling service when I ordered and the food came out fast despite being busy. All this coupled with a very clean salsa bar and an unsweetened mango iced tea earns this spot a solid 5 stars. read more

It's a franchise. What else can I say? Location is great. It's in a large plaza that's kept very clean and the restaurant itself is pretty nice too. Plenty of seating inside and out and the service is so-so but better than what you'd expect for minimum wage. The bathrooms are filthy. Food was typical of a Rubio's, granted that I haven't eaten at a Rubio's in probably 5 years. Not much has changed in that time though so thumbs up for consistency. Two steak burrito especial combos, one chicken taco, and one fish taco for $22. A bit much in my opinion but it tasted good, clean, and it filled me up. Steak burritos were large but could have had more steak and less beans. Chicken taco was fine. Clean tasting. Fresh produce. Fish taco was disappointing but it tasted fine. This being their signature item, I guess I was expecting more. Would I endeavor to return to a Rubio's location next time I'm hungry and there's a Quizno's nearby? Probably yes, but I'll say that this place is has a high ticket and I'd only come back again because they weren't bad and everything else in this plaza is either equally mediocre with lesser quality or cheaper but comes with a side of botulism. read more

Not Happy with my food!! I understand these are very rough times for ALL of us, but when I pay over $21 for a shrimp burrito and a lobster burrito... I expect them to have the shrimp and lobster. Both burritos mainly consisted of white rice and black beans. Seriously, I must have seen a tablespoon each of small chopped up pieces of shrimp and lobster. I won't be back! Food was good but the bathroom situation is ridiculous. There's no sign saying that you need to go up to the front to be "buzzed" in to the bathrooms. We weren't the only ones who had a hard time figuring that out. Also the buzzing system alone is stupid and a person can easily be walked in on (which happened while we were there) because there's no lock on the inside for an occupant to control. Great food and amazing staff at this location!!! I came here tonight to have dinner and the staff, Alex and Fabi, were so friendly and helpful. I've always loved the food at Rubio's and I've seen them improve their menu over the years. I really like coming to this location because there usually isn't too long of a wait and it's always relaxing whether you're inside or out on the patio. I love their Taco Tuesday. $1.75 for their original fish taco or $2 for the fish taco especial (essentially the original with a dollop of guacamole). The salsa bar is always well maintained. And at some point, they started carrying these jalapeño and habanero hot sauces that are amazing! For some reason, when I try to order online on my phone, the formatting doesn't work and so I can never purchase--leaving me to have to call my order in. To start off, this was my first job over 10 years ago (at a different location) so first hand, I know the ingredients are fresh and great quality. Pricing is a bit high but worth it every so often. I'm a big Rubios fan. No mater what location I go to they don't disappoint. Wanted to go light today and had the Baja Burrito, simple, but very tasty. Guac for free as well (hold that L chipotle) Service: 5/5 friendly staff, food came or quick. Prices: 5/5 you get $2 off an entree by checking in. My burrito was a mere $5.49 before tax. What in the world did I just eat? A burrito that was the size of a soft taco - saddest burrito ever. It literally was about half the side of a regular burrito. The shrimp and bacon burrito was good but I felt a bit hungry still, the sauces were okay too. The choices of drink were nice. The place was clean and nicely designed, but that's where all the stars go. If you want some great burritos, don't come here - this place can't live up to authentic Mexican burritos. read more
