Recommendation: Taco Fish Especial on corn tortillas w/ their spicy salsa (Battered fish, guacamole, cabbage, salsa, and chesse). Difference: Their regular fish tacos don't have guacamole or cheese. My son loves getting their kids meals because they use to give you toys. Currently, they they just give you a coloring page... Great food but the staff have the worst attitude. It's tough going to a place to enjoy dinner and company but you're uncomfortable by the employees including the manager. Hopefully hospitality can be encouraged this location. That auto response is cute. Thought I'd reach out to another form of the company per their website and never got a response. Yum, yum, and yum. If the fact that I have dined here for lunch 3 days in a row doesn't tell you enough, let me say that they're tacos are simple, delicious, and filling. I started with their bowl the first day because I didn't know what to order (everything looked good) but after finding the shrimp tacos, I was hooked. They use great ingredients and decorate the tacos with flavorful toppings and salsas. I am very full with just two tacos. I'll miss this place when I return back to Cincy. I can't eat Chipotle because it upsets my stomach but I feel great after eating here! This location was fantastic, I just recently moved to this neighborhood. I used the app to place my order for the first time. When I went in to pick up my order it was already there waiting for me. I've been going to this Rubio's location the past few months. My go to order is the salmon burrito. Usually the food is fresh and delicious but this last time it was fishy and the onions and cilantro condiment had gone bad. It was disappointing. The young guy taking my order was friendly. When I asked him a question he did not know he consulted with the lady next to him. She behaved as if it was an intrusion on her time. Stopped by today while out shopping with my daughter. Got my usual, gourmet shrimp taco plate with black beans and chips. Had to have plenty of they're famous Roasted Chipotle salsa. This is my go to meal. I love Rubio's. This isn't my usual location though, but we happened to be nearby. This is what makes this particular location special. The manager, Julio. The food at this location is on par with all of the others. What makes me give it a four is the manager, whose name I did not get. I really hate cilantro. Hate is probably a mild word for it. I ordered the shrimp tacos and told the cashier absolutely no cilantro. We talked about it and went through all the options. What was served was chock-full of it. I cannot ingest it whatsoever. Rubio's offers tasty food but the customer service at this location is not good. We haven't eaten here in a while so decided to stop by before Black Friday shopping. Worker was rude and catty. I ordered a bowl with no meat, only the veggies. All I could find were some measly pieces of cauliflower and ROMAINE LETTUCE. In the middle of an E. Coli breakout! We ordered the food to go, and I asked the lady if she put the forks in the bag. She said "uh yeah there's two in the other bag". There were none to be found. I had to pick the lettuce out of my bowl because I was not going to let $7.50 waste. Hopefully that lettuce wasn't tainted or else things won't end well. My sister got a bean and cheese burrito. It seemed as if the worker didn't care about his future working because the beans were goopy, and black pepper was the main ingredient. It's not like this at other locations. Like other reviews have mentioned, this place is very dirty. All the tables appeared to be half washed with no attention taken to the stains. At other locations, customer service is great and the food delicious. I'd recommend going over to the location in Anaheim. The rice and beans are always delicious, and an adult can easily get full off of a kids meal. Definitely WONT be coming back to this location in particular. read more

I gotta say that I was very impressed with everything from my visit. The staff was great, fast, and courteous. Made us feel at home. Check this place out if your calorie watching since they have an array of healthmex items. I tried the health mex mahi mahi burrito, it was good but couldve been better. The salsa bar totally makes up for that missing something in my burrito. Their salsa bar was fresh and fully stocked. They have several salsa something for everyone. My personal favorite the diablo salsa in the bottle and the jalapenos with carrots. I also tried their golden tilipia taco. It comes with a cabbage topping with suace. It was amazing!!! My family and I enjoy eating at Rubios, we love there classic tacos and the food is good. How ever the customer service at this location is terrible. It took around 20 minutes to get our food, and I ordered a cheese and chicken quesadilla for my daughter but they gave us just a cheese quesadilla but charged us for the chicken quesadilla. When I told the person I'm charge they said they would fix it for us. We waited around 10min and they still hadn't brought it over so I went to check up on it and they still hadn't started preparing it. So I just asked for my money back for the quesadilla. I want to first start by saying how much I love Rubio's and how I normally have a great experience. However, this last time was definitely the exception. I got a salad with chicken. The chicken was so unbelievably hard and cold. It must've been sitting there all day or a couple days. Really poor customer service,don't even acknowledge when walking in. Tried to make a phone order because I knew it was lunch hours I was on hold forever so just hung up and place the order there. When getting to Rubios I notice the employees working in the kitchen (cooks and preparing food) were not wearing hair nets. My family and I ate lunch here. I ordered today's special "tortilla soup and 1 fish taco" for $7.99. We were so hungry! 20 minutes to wait for the meal. I wasn't happy with it. The soup was so lukewarm. The ratio of soup to rice? What soup? It was more like a Spanish rice porridge garnished with tomatoes, avocados and crunchy tortilla strips. I am so tired of giving Rubios the benefit of the doubt. My order is simple, just a few ingredients left out due to allergies. I don't understand how 3 lime wedges ended up INSIDE my burrito, I called about this incident that time. I don't understand how "no sour cream" translates to: no sour cream, no cheese, and no salsa. Fish tacos are a fetish of mine. Rubios are the best! The mango ahi tacos are my favorites. The amount of fish they put in each taco is huge compared to the competition. I went to Baja Fresh and the tacos had only a child size fish stick in a 3.25 taco. Rubios has 4X the fish in thier tacos. Simply the best. Delicious. Place is clean, restroom was clean, Salsa bar was clean. Over at Baja Fresh, the salsa bar was so nasty you couldnt tell if it was salsa or puke. Everything was mixed up and messed up. read more

I came in on Wednesday the 8th around 12pm. Walking into the location seemed comforting due to the fact the cashier. She was a taller woman with brown hair I couldnt remember the name but I do remember her name tag saying I love salsa verse shrimp tacos. And just seeing that I HHHAADDD to indulge myself in them. I usually dont do reviews on lunch spots but this woman deserves one. I never had someone so kind and attentive in me as a customer to actually come over after I was done and asked me how the food was. I told the woman this is my new spot for salsa verde tacos. I even recommended them to my coworkers which we will be revisiting soon on the same wednesday just to have that good customer service.
