Most of these reviews are months and years old. Time for an update. The Shrimp Fondue was kind of weird but surprisingly good. My steak was cooked to order as I requested it; the sides were good too. During my visit, the place was relatively clean, and the servers were nice. Listening to the other customers, most seemed perfectly fine with their food, so I really dont know where the negative reviews are coming from. What a change!!! We have been here in the past but not in a while, maybe 6 months ago, came in 2-11-2022. Like most places short staffed but this team was working like a well oiled machine. Two managers on the floor seating, bussing, and interacting with us and other guests. The one who sat us, I found out was the GM, went into the kitchen and helped them out too. Impressive!!! My family left soon after receiving our food. The restaurant was nasty, staff and manager didn't seem to care about the quality of the place or food. They were out of literally everything and the waitresses trying to be kind kept opening my child's milk jug before bringing to the table. Would not recommend this place at all. We ate here for lunch on January 31 and personally observed at least 4 people in the food area (assumed to be off-duty employees) not wearing a mask. Several others were partially wearing masks with their noses uncovered. One wait person wore his mask below his chin much of the time. When he did pull it up, it was still below his nose. The manager was with them and he made no indication that they needed to correct this. read more

I'm being very generous with my two stars!!! The only restaurant of any type that I've ever had a salad bar where everyone has to specifically request bacon bits. First time I was told they didn't have them and then they came up with some after I said that I was going to call their corporate office. Then... only given to you in small portions. This happened on at least two separate occasions... so it is a matter of this specific location's policy (not an accident) I can only guess that the manager is trying to maximize their bonus by minimizing their salad bar expense / exposure. Also, during our last visit we ordered appetizer, salad bar, and meal, and the waiter showed up with all of our meals before we were even done with the appetizer or even gotten our salads. I tried to politely bring it to the wait person's attention, & she blamed the fact that she showed up early with the meal and that I hadn't had the salad bar yet on me. she then said all the food down so it could commence with getting cold before we could eat it. Last time I checked it was a waiters job to time the meal out correctly. Additionally, two people in our party had a mixed drink and BOTH said that it was extremely weak & didn't even taste like there was any alcohol in it The net result for Ruby Tuesday's was that one person in our party canceled their salad bar entirely and (for me) a destroyed eating experience and, as a result, this review. read more

Very Clean! The remodeling looks good, new carpets, lamp shades, and wall decorations go well together. Food was good and hot, service friendly and attentive, and the salad bar was stocked, clean and cold. read more

My wife and I have joined friends for dinner at this restaurant before. The food and the service have been good. Not this time! Our friends arrived about 10 minutes ahead of us. They asked the server to bring biscuits so they could munch on them while they waited for us to arrive. They were still waiting for the biscuits when we got there. We looked at the beautiful photos of the various entres, and ordered those that looked particularly good. When the food came, it was a far cry from the photos in the menu. The portions were about half what they should have been. In addition, my wife's dinner was so bad, she couldn't finish it. She just ate a salad. Oh, about the time that we would have been ready to order dessert, the server brought a plate of biscuits. It only took about an hour to get them. Not wanting to make a scene at the restaurant, when I got home I went onto the RT website and submitted my comments online. The next afternoon, I received a call from the restaurant manager. He had not been on duty the night before, and was very disappointed in the poor quality and quantity of our food and the shoddy service that we received. He promised to send me a certificate for the four of us to return so that he could ensure that we had a most enjoyable dining experience. I told him that would be nice. A week later I had not received the promised certificate, so I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager again. He told me that he had spoken with his director about our experience and said that his director had promised to send us the dining certificate. The manager told me that he was greatly disappointed that his director had not provided the promised certificate. He said that he would call his director again and assured me that I would have the certificate within 72 hours. It's now five days later and there's still no sign of the promised certificate. Not only do they not provide good, plentiful food, they tell you whatever they tink you want to hear and then fail to follow through. That's it! I'm done! We will NEVER patronize this or any other Ruby Tuesday again and we'll tell all our friends to do likewise. read more

This evening august 1st i dropped into Rudy Tuesdays in Lenoir city Tennessee. Upon entering the restaurant I went on to restroom to wash my hands as I was passing thru to restrooms there were tables that had not been cleaned entered the restroom where it had not been cleaned paper towels in floor also toilet paper floor need mopped this bath room was so nasty toilet paper was sticking to my shoes. As I left the restroom, the manager was telling staff not bake any more potatoes to put them in microwave because the were about to close, it was still 2 hours until closing. Another lady was pulling her hair and squeegee. I had to ask to clean the chairs from food in them this was the nastiest placed I have ever seen they all need retraining or fired management should step it up and take their job more seriously and not be talking where customers can hear her clean this restaurant up such a disgrace. The restaurant was not even busy. Only 9 customers in the entire restaurant. read more

The service was great at this location but the food was not good at all. The Ruby Tuesday in Maryville is where you want to go to get great food ! I just can't understand why there is such a disconnect between the two restaurants. They do not keep the same standards by any means ! I payed 50.00 for two horrible meals. Over all Ruby Tuesdays has done a complete turn-around but it seems that the Lenoir city location has been left in the dust. read more

We stopped here around eight or so in the evening. We had been on the road for hours trying to get to Dollywood. We had to stop somewhere and we needed it to be good and the service to be great because it was my daughter's birthday. All of the staff was amazing! Wow, did we ever make a mistake by ignoring previous reviews. The light crowd on a Friday night should have been a clue. This place is poor at best. The salad bar was poorly stocked and not well kept. My wife's steak was over cooked... Twice! Recook took about 20 minutes. Second time she just said it was ok so as not to wait any longer. I had bbq salmon which was pretty good, but after I was asked if I wanted more tea, it never came. Unless you just want to sit at the bar and watch TV, you might want to make a different choice. read more

I have lived in Lenoir City since 2002 and have visited this place twice....was not ever very good....A friend of mine who recently moved to Tellico had a coupon for RT....I kept dodging,,,,she had never been there....Well, we go and she forgot the coupon,,,OK, oh well we will stay....Wine,,,,not what she ordered and my Merlot tasted like Balsamic vinegar....OK, server who is running her butt off switches them out after we express our distaste...Merlot was much better, she said she opened a new bottle.....OK,,,I'm already at the salad bar before we can even order because I am starved by now..Our server is slammed. Salad bar was great. We finally get to order, she ordered fried shrinp and I ordered the baked ravioli with spinach...I did so knowing I did not want to experience what I had in the past with fish or steak...My friends fried shrimp was soggy and limp...Fried shrimp should be crispy,,,(isn't it)? She said her potatoe was good and it did look good...My Ravioli, presentation was horrible, taste was good although why it says it has spinach in it is beyond me...I went to the salad bar and put some on along with cheese it did not come with to sprinkle on...All in all I can see why this restaurant sends out coupons every week for free meals....Oh, btw,,the manager did come by and his response sounded so rehearsed it was sad....Nope, not going back and I do not know how this place has stayed open for so long.....Right off the interstate too....RT and Shoney's are a shame to Lenoir City,,,,Can't wait until this area grows and shuts these places down. read more

After years of staying away from this restaurant because of bad food/service in the past, my wife convinced me to give it another try. We ordered chicken tenders and the Ruby Tuesday sliders. I didn't want the salad bar since a salad bar takes frequent maintenance to maintain and most of the staff (manager included)were gathered around the bar watching the football game.When I expressed my preference not to have the salad bar, the waitress immediately snapped back "IT COSTS THE SAME EITHER WAY". When the sliders showed up they were burnt and caused gastric distress that I can't go into detail on this forum. My wife had to ask for more tea which was empty for some time and had to catch the waitress. There were at least a dozen flies in the dining area which are indicative of poor conditions somewhere close by such as not taking the trash out on a regular basis. There were only two tables occupied and 6 people in the bar area on a Saturday afternoon. We used to really enjoy going to Ruby Tuesday's. Stay away from the Lenoir City Ruby Tuesday's. read more

my wife and i usually visit this establishment about once a month for the last 5 years and our last experience was very disappointing, we drove into the parking lot and for a saturday evening at 8pm there was hardly a vehicle there. we walked in and it was very barren . we both ordered a steak and a drink , the steaks were waaaay to seasoned ( i have high blood pressure and have never had a steak so seasoned). we finished our dinner and it was around 9pm. we both wanted another after dinner drink and the waitress said that they stopped serving so much alcohol that the place was getting to be more a bar than a restaurant. well, this was our second round of drinks and she did bring our drinks but said we couldn't order any more. we were very surprised. i had two beers and my wife had two drinks, and were cut off????. very sad. now i know why the place was so empty on a saturday. the employees rush you out so they can just fool around or/and go home early. won't go there again read more
