Me and my husband are vegetarian so finding a place to eat is such a pain. Ruca's staff was super warm and friendly they offered us the turkey avocado sandwich minus the turkey. Oh man was it delish! Just got finished eating here and it was AWESOME! Highly recommend. My husband and I got the Nutty Bliss Aebleskivers and The Ruca sandwich. Good breakfast! Had a sign apologizing for being short on staff. Even though they were short on staff, all employees were very quick and professional. Had about 10 people order at once. Food was cooked to satisfaction and ready in about 10-15 minutes. Would recommend. read more

Do get the Turkey Pesto or Ruca sandwich half with the Summer Harvest salad combo!!! Its sooo good! It has strawberries, raspberries, green apples, chicken, cranberries, and nuts on it with a raspberry vinaigrette! I agree that the environment is so fun and cute. They have bean bag toss games you can play while you wait! Or plenty of various seating arrangements for different group sizes. Also, they are pretty quick in there so not much of a wait. This was not what I was expecting when we decided to eat here. It is a little trailer with a lawn area out back with patio tables and chairs for seating. Whatever, I thought it would make a great spot to have a beer and hangout. After we ordered we had a eat and waited. And waited. And waited. When we went to check on our order they apologized and said it was coming. So we waited some more. Then we got part of one order. And waited some more. Then part of another order. Then the rest of three of our orders. Then waited some more for the last order. All this waiting was for an egg, bacon and a waffle! The Longest wait was for some aebelskivers. I live in Vegas and I have traveled all over and I have visited some of the most high class eating establishments there is. I was on vacation and visited this little place and was blown away. They serve these things call Abelskivers they are fluffy danish pancake balls and I have never had anything like them. The best thing I have ever eaten and their coffee was some of the best I have ever had. We were so impressed we actually went back later that day to try the sandwiches and I think the Grilled Turkey Pesto has changed my life. You can tell they take real passion in serving a high quality product and the staff and owner are so inviting. I will definitely be back. read more

The aebleskiver were very good and unique, I haven't found many places which serve these. We got the peaches and cream and they were five stars. The reason for the three star review if for the drinks. We ordered Chai and it was essentially just hot milk. I would come back here again for the aebleskiver. read more

Where should I start! First and only time I will come here. They ran out of food and ice cream!! Everything I wanted to order they didn't have. What's the point of even being open if you do not have the food you are known for! I wanted there aebleskivera and they said there was no batter, about 20 min later I am only guessing it was someone that the owner knew but they made this teenage kid some batter for him to make some for home and turned wAy I don't ever know how many more customers came and they would make the batter. Great customer services NOT!! I am glad I am paying customer and they can't take the time to make batter for paying customers. I should have went somewhere else but it was Sunday and there isn't a lot of options open. But if there was I wouldn't have given you my business. The wait time for Making a sandwich is ridiculous and to top it off I asked for no onion and guess what.... I had onion on my sandwich!!! What a great find!! Stopped by for lunch - best sandwiches we've had in a long time. Everything is super fresh! So good hat we stopped by for breakfast he next morning. Ruca's has good food but be prepared to wait, especially if there are more than 5-7 people ahead of you and make sure your order is right before leaving. We ordered the Sublime, the Grilled Turkey Pesto, and the Razzle Dazzle. After waiting an hour to get the food we finally made it home to eat. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious. When we dug into the Razzle Dazzle we were disappointed to find they weren't stuffed like the menu says they should be. Major let down. I hope we just got unlucky because the sandwiches really were great so we'll give them another shot. Will update after next experience. read more

Ebelskivers were so good. Moist and soft. Outside eating but there is a nice grassy area and some comfy couches.

My fiancé and I went and got the Aebleskiver flavored with strawberries and Nutella. We really enjoyed these - they were nice and light! Outdoor seating was nice and had a pretty good view of the lake. Overall we really liked this place, and will be coming back on our next trip to bear lake! read more

They serve Aebleskiver (Danish Pancake Balls). This is their first week open. The food is good. The outdoor seating is fine. They are not prepared for crowds. They have 3 pancake makers going at once. This means they can pump out about 3 dishes every 5 to 10 minutes. Be prepared to wait if there is any kind of line. For example, if there are two parties of three people in front of you, you probably won't get your order for 20 to 30 minutes. They probably need to invest in 5 to 7 more machines. They run about $40 each on Amazon. The investment would be $200 to $300ish dollars. This is not unreasonable, considering they are gunning for the summer tourist crowd. Hopefully they figure it out. They get a 4 star review because they are new and kitchen management issues can be forgiven for newbies.. If I had the same experience after 6 months of being open, it would probably drop a star or two. I wish them luck. read more

Waited forever for a sandwich. Supposedly They were out of the batter for the aebleskivers so they wouldn't make more. But while waiting we were waiting forever for our sandwiches to be made, some blonde lady and her family get there she walks through the back door and comes back out and tells her family they are making more batter but it will be 20 minutes. Meanwhile they were telling paying customers they were out of batter. She went numerous times through the back door also trying to hide her beer bottle and drinking it in the food prep area. Which I'm pretty sure you aren't suppose to do whether you're working or not. I'm not sure if she was the owner or just someone who works there. Either way shame on her. We stopped here on a whim and are so happy we did. We had a turkey avocado sandwich, salad with fruit, and ham and egg ableskivers. The next morning my husband ate peach ableskivers. Everything was delicious. The salad had the most beautiful berries on it. The sandwich was healthy and filling, and came with a salad.
