Paying in advance is fine with me, but after you paid, your order confirmation will tell you the order is expected to be ready in one hour. Normal people will think, well, it is just a computer system thing to give the staff more time to prep the food. Well, NO! I placed the order at 7:10 pm; got there at 7:30 pm; order was not ready. The receptionist girl was kind and kept checking the in the back every 10 mins or so, when she is not receiving customer to their tables. She was kinda apologetic and I said I understand, it is a Saturday night after all. I waited on table to pay for my college when I was young so I totally get it. With another 30 mins wait, quietly sitting at the front bench waiting, and many other big orders handed out I. Front of me, and I expressed my concern to the receptionist let her know it is been almost an hour. All the sudden, there is waitress (In Her 40s, black shirt, curly blonde hair) came at me saying "sir!? pickup orders are expected to wait one hour here. We are all busy here!" I was like, first of all I wasn't being mean or anything, just letting the receptionist know hey I am still here waiting. Second, try tell your dine-in customers about they have to wait an hour to get their food- see what they think and how they react. Last, I was not even talking to that curly hair black shirt waitress. There is no need to came at your customer like that! The male manager was helpful and went in the back and grab my order immediately. If I hadn't ask, I suspect I would still be sitting there waiting at the mercy of the staff. Because you know, pickup orders are like secondary citizens. You paid and got hold hostage for an hour, and pray the staff to give u food (that you paid for). That was how I felt. By the way, my order was small - Brisket Philly x1 and Chilean Nuggets kids meal x 1. Bottom line- Never get food there if you have a hungry child waiting. Went here with a friend for some beers and app. I got the small ceaser with grilled chicken and a beer. I'm glad i got the small ceaser because it filled me up perfectly. I ordered the "house special" cannelloni. I was starving because it had been a very busy (and a tad emotional) day. Our friends had ordered something to go (for their daughter at home) along with their meals. It was the first thing to come out. Everyone got their food shortly there after but me. I sat there for about 15 minutes and the server finally comes to tell me she didn't put my order in with the others. Did I still want it because it takes about 20 minutes to make? I said no, just give me a Buffalo chicken wrap. Another 20 minutes later, everyone's finished eating, my food finally comes out. I ask for a box so I could just take it home. Got the bill. Full price for everything. Whatever. I totally understand that people make mistakes. Overall, I really wanted to like this place and their menu sounded great. Unfortunately the poor service and inaccurate orders we received will prevent me from returning. Our waitress did say that one of the bartenders was new, however, I am unsure if she ever checked on the status of our drinks. We thought it would get better after that...unfortunately it did not. Our waitress took a long time to come back to take our order and then later deliver our food. Several of our orders were inaccurate or missing components. For instance, no garlic bread with the mango jerk mahi, burger on a bun when we specifically asked for no bun, over-cooked burger, over-cooked pizza. I had ordered the mango jerk chicken. It was cooked well and was pretty spicy. I wish the garlic bread that was supposed to be included with the entree had come out with the meal and not 15/20 min later. Since it was more spicy than I had anticipated, the bread would have been nice to offset the heat. The squash and zucchini noodles were good but you do not get very much of them. There also was not a lot of mango salsa. The portion of fish was certainly more than enough (I took half of the fish home with me). Throughout our meal, our waitress rarely checked on us and it was difficult to get her attention. She seemed to only be waiting on a few tables outside but I am not certain. The guy who we think was the manager was helping clean up the tables and deliver drinks so they may have been short staffed. As bad as an experience that you can have when you go out to eat. Not what we expected since we always see many cars there, but then again, they are right next to Costco. We went there at around 8 PM for a celebration an it's a shame that a damn waitress and below average food can ruin a family night. Ruckus is an interesting place to say the least. As the saying goes, "A jack of all trades but a master of none". They serve Pizza, burgers and sushi as their main food push. I've had their burgers and pizza but never the sushi. The mind set of pizza and sushi together in one place never has really fit in my opinion. I think more of dirty Chinese buffets and one off Golden Corrals then quality sushi. Tonight I had the 5 alarm burger but there was nothing "alarming" (pun intended) about this burger. It was pretty charred on the outside, giving it a burnt bitter taste. Even though the menu said "Hot" it was more like luke warm and 0 spice. I try not to waste food but I could not finish this burger, it was just too burnt to actually enjoy. Another odd thing they do is serve pasta salad as a default side with the burger... WHO DOES THAT!? They will also charge you extra for fries. They really nickle and dime you to add extras that are normally served at other restaurants. LAME! The atmosphere is decent, plenty of TVs and music to keep your attention. They have a bar and outside seating as well. The place was clean from what I could tell and the wait staff were on their game with refills and whatnot. The food is slightly over priced in my opinion, I paid $12.21 for a burnt burger, diet coke and pasta salad I didn't even want, not including tip. Went to Ruckus Pizza in Apex tonight with our pup. He loves going out with us and we try to find places where we can not only take him but also have room for a large dog. Our server asked if our pup could start off with dessert and brought him some whip cream. We had called our order in so that it was ready when we arrived- we sat down and right away our food was brought to us. Wanted to watch the rest of the FSU game and they turned it on. Everything about the entire experience was flawless as always and they made this visit so extra special truly going above and beyond. Stopped in here on a Labor Day around 1:40. Busy as always. I have been here 4-5 times; I would have given it 3.5 stars if possible, but I prefer to round up when possible. I have had the meatball sub and have been satisfied each time (Great bread). I have also ordered a few different personal pizzas; good taste and ingredients, however not always as hot as I would prefer. Also, I always eat at the bar. I have had good, friendly bartenders and I have had bartenders that apparently thought I was invisible. Went here a couple of Monday's ago for the music bingo and I had a great time and some good food. I loved the music bingo and the fact that all types of music was played, from the 90s to the 60s. I'm not that familiar with a long of music but I loved the songs and how each winner received a gift card as a prize. So fun! For food I tried the spinach dip, pizza and garlic knots. The garlic knots were amazing, loved the marinara sauce they came with. The pizza slice was huge, I heard they were big but I didn't know they were that big! It was good pizza, no complaints there. Finally the spinach dip was also pretty good. But not quite as good as the pizza and the garlic knots but it seems like they overall just have good quality food. The service was friendly and fast. I have to also mention that the fusion lemonade was very good and they have a good list of beers and other cocktails also. I think there is something for everyone. The catering manager stopped by our table for a chat and she was amazing. So friendly and so funny and just really represented the restaurant well. Please stock ODouls or another NA option. I have an aging relative that wants to get out and have a beer with dinner, but can only drink NA options due to negative interactions with dementia and medication. I ordered the French toast (which was AMAZING) and breakfast potatoes. The breakfast potatoes were basic, I could have used some peppers in it or something to spice it up. But not nasty at all. They were hot and crispy and I added ketchup and ate it right up. So all in all the food was good... really good! Now to the important part! There was a mimosa flight on the brunch menu. I LOVE MIMOSAS! The flavors were strawberry, pineapple and a mermaid (melon) and they all were so good and fresh.
