January 30, 2026 Rio Rancho, NM Cottonwood FIX YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE OR LOSE YOUR CUSTOMERS FOREVER! Worst Customer Service ever! Walked in and nobody was in line but me. The girl was so busy focusing on to go orders she couldn't even say hello. After 3 1/2 to 4 minutes I finally said hello and she came over and said what can I get you? I gave her my order, and then I paid with cash. She was wearing gloves and took my money and gave me my change. She walked back to fill some more cookie orders. I asked if she could change her gloves because she just touched money. She was aggravated and irritated. She threw her gloves off into the garbage and grabbed two new gloves and went behind the corner. I don't know what she did behind the corner, but the other employee was watching her the whole time in curiosity, and then looking up at me. Which is interesting because she did not hear the conversation going on. In hindsight, I should have just asked for my money back. The woman came out, got the cookies put them in the box and gave them to me. I thanked her for changing her gloves and told her I was immune compromised and I thought it was not appropriate to touch the money and then the food. Apparently this is an upsetting thing for her to conceptualize because she once again was irritated and disgusted as you could see in her face. I then asked for my receipt. After pounding on the keypad with great force, she gave me my receipt. I thanked her again. And left. No, I did not give her a tip when I paid for my cookies. I didn't give her a tip for two reasons. First she never acknowledged me and I waited for up to four minutes and then had to acknowledge her before she even came over to assist me. More importantly, I don't think it's important to tip a person at a cookie shop to give me a cookie I paid five dollars for. That is their job. Am I supposed to pay five dollars for her to ring the cookie up, and then tip her for giving it to me? This has got out of hand.Crumbl cookies should not be asking for gratuity at the register. If you want have a tip jar that is something different. I just went out to dinner and the waitress worked her back end off to serve me and all the other tables. I have tried Crumbl a few times since they opened in Albuquerque and I just have not been able to get behind it-- and furthermore is I am not a fan of this store in particular. Asked my dad to pick up our Crumbl order the day before Thanksgiving. We pre-ordered on Tuesday for six of the pies they were offering. When my dad entered the store, he said there were several customers waiting for orders and many other customers being turned away because they were "sold out of everything." There were several staff available, but they were avoiding/ignoring the frustrated customers. When he finally got their attention, they prepped our order. The apple pie was mostly crust with a small scoop of apple filling and no cinnamon streusel topping. When my dad asked if there was something missing on the apple pie, one of the staff briefly looked, said "no" and quickly walked away before my dad could say anything else. I understand that they were probably receiving more orders and walk-in customers than they expected, but that's no way to treat anyone. Extremely disappointed in the product and customer service. I will definitely not be ordering anything from this Crumbl when I come back to visit my parents. Picked up my order on 11/28 5:20pm the girl upfront had horrible customer service! In my order I PAYED for it to have the "gift wrap" when she handed me a regular box and reminded her what I ordered all she did was hand me the stickers and a bow and made me do it myself even tho I payed to pick it up ready! And I added for there to be the little note sticker and obviously she didn't bother doing that either. It wasn't busy either. Sodium is 100 - 280 milligrams per 1/4 of that cookie. Cholesterol? 85 to 150mg per 1/4 of your treat depending on which cookie you get. Was supposed to be my 1 "Cheat day sweet treat" after the end of my week's intense workout sessions. I'll be honest and write that I did not finish the oversized Milk Chocolate Chip cookie; even after cutting it into about 10 small pieces. Took me 3 days to attempt to eat it. First of all, too big and sweet for me to finish. I could only think of being in a sugar or carb coma! After adding up the calories, then seeing how much sodium and cholesterol was in 1 cookie I just couldn't waste the hard work I've been putting in. First time checking this place out. I've picked up cookies for other people at work for awhile now but I never actually tried them. Since it's not often I find myself on the west side I figured since I was already in the neighborhood why not. Walking in everything appeared modern and slightly upscale. This week was minion themed cookies. I knew for sure I wanted chocolate chip. So of course you know I had to least get half of the box of them just in case. They had a mud pie and cream pie cookie I was curious about so I added those. My jaw dropped when the total came out to $24z I was like whaaaaa?! Not sure exactly what to expect I was a little irritated with the price but I'd already paid so as I waited for my cookies I began to ponder the value. Finally when the box is ready they presented it to me open. Wow they were big. After they closed the box and handed it to me I felt the weight and wow it was a heft box. I began to thing are their animals in these cookies or what. Soon as I got to work I opened the box. As I held the chocolate chip one I was amazed by the siz of the cookie. It was practically the size of my hand. Keep in mind my hands aren't very small either. The cookies were also very thick. I took a bite and was in a small euphoric bliss. I tried the mud pie one also and wasn't expecting it to fall apart on me so I found myself searching for a plate rather quickly. I will say the mud pie one was a little too much sugar for me. I first got to try Crumbl in Lubbock, TX. We went up there for Raising Cane's but stayed for the cookies at Crumbl. That week they were tasting pumpkin, confetti, double chocolate, and a mint cookie in addition to the classic sugar and chocolate chip. I got a four-pack of the pumpkin, confetti, double chocolate, and sugar cookie and regretted not getting more. The cookies are huge, thick, soft, and melt in your mouth. I'm a sugar cookie kind of girl, so in that box, the sugar and confetti were my favorite. However, I was impressed with the pumpkin cookie, it tasted like the perfect pumpkin cake, had no artificial pumpkin flavor, and the cream cheese frosting was excellent. I also enjoyed the double chocolate, super-rich. Fast forward about a week. I see on Facebook that Crumbl is opening a store in my neck of the woods. I'm beyond excited!! This week, about a month after the opening, I finally got over there because they are tasting my most favorite cookie of all time, Snickerdoodle! Oh boy!! They make a mean snickerdoodle. It was crunchy around the edges, soft, almost gooey inside, and had the perfect covering of cinnamon sugar. I don't have a picture of it cause I ate it too fast. The store is cute and clean, and the staff is friendly. You can order on the tablets inside the store, or from the friendly associate behind the counter, or through the mobile app. Moments after you order, they are calling your name and showing you the delicious cookies before closing the box and handing it to you. I came here on grand opening night and have tried these cookies in Las Vegas. I was beyond excited to finally have one in New Mexico! The line went through quickly, the staff were super friendly and cookies are delicious. I love this place so much and love that they have three new flavors every week. I placed an order on the app for 3 mini cookies to pick up between 5:10pm and 5:40pm. I didn't arrive until 6:10pm and my cookies still were not ready. The place was packed with walk ins and I was told that my cookies would be ready shortly. I noticed that people who were walk ins started receiving their cookie orders so I asked the girl at the register (who was frantically rushing around trying to get orders ready) why my order wasn't being fulfilled first when it was supposed to be ready over 30 minutes before since I pre-ordered it. Her explanation as I understood it was that the app orders are different and the franchise owner expects walk in orders to be completed within a certain amount of time. Honestly, the whole thing didn't make sense but I again reminded her that I pre-ordered and gave them more than enough time to complete my order. She said she would work on my order right away which she did. Funny enough, while I was waiting for my order, I received a text from Crumbl reminding me to not forget my order. In any event, my order was ready within about 2 minutes of the girl telling me she'd work on it. The box had frosting all along the bottom which was the cherry on top of the whole experience. I've never had a bad experience with Crumbl until now. I felt kind of bad for the girl who helped me... I could tell she was working hard and if there is that much pressure on them to fulfill walk in orders immediately, that isn't fair to the employees. At the same time, it isn't fair to people who use the app to pre-order to 1) avoid putting a ton of pressure on employees and 2) to avoid waiting around for an order. read more

Every time you go in they're out of at least two of their menu items. Today I placed an order online for pick up. I put in my NM zip code and it gave me cottonwood, unfortunately I didn't look to see that it was cottonwood Utah. The location was not the cleanest and the bucket that holds cleaning solution was on the floor and then placed on a counter. It should never touch the floor! I also do understand why there are no slip mats that also provide a soft surface for there employees to stand on for long periods of time. read more

I only ordered two items for my mom's 74th birthday, she's never had Crumbl cookies so I wanted to have one delivered to her for her birthday since she's in NM and I live in another state. I ordered two items; a cookie and a milk and the milk was not delivered and her note was not on the box so she didn't know who it was from. When I called the store, a less than apologetic associate who had a really difficult time refunding me for the milk, I was on the phone with her for ten minutes while she tried to find the order and process the refund (Chanel was her name). She never apologized and when I suggested to her at the end of the call that an apology would've been nice, she simply hung up the phone. I've spent hundreds of dollars sending Crumbl cookies and this was a huge disappointment to me that not only was one of two items not delivered but the store associate was rude and didn't seem to care at all. She provided me with the store owners email saying "he doesn't really ever respond but I'll give it to you", this was after I asked to speak with her store manager. Service is friendly, they are open late, they are quick (things got a little messy after the rush and that's okay), and the price is good for the size you get ($3.98 for one cookie or $13.98 for a 4 pack is the way to go- is that big box really for me? The only downside is not knowing what the specials are going to be until the week of (what if you have a favorite and are waiting for it to come back around again? Oh well, that just means you have to buy other cookies in the meantime) and if ordering ahead of time, being forced to download another app. I had seen one of my west side friends get Crumbl several months back, but you know us on the other side of town don't usually wander over that way unless we have to. I stumbled across this gem while on my way to Olive Garden. I decided to check it out and I'll tell you it was absolutely worth it! The ambiance inside is so chic and contemporary. They have around 6-7 flavors to choose from. I decided on getting the 4 pack. It seems pricey at $3.68 a cookie and $11 for a 4 pack BUT these cookies are huge! 3 people can probably share one as a snack. They are all served warm except the iced sugar cookie is served chilled. I ordered the chocolate chip, pecan pie, sugar cookie and dulce de leche cookie. Hands down the dulce de leche was my favorite! It was warm and perfectly combined with the caramel topping. One bite was sinful! The others are equally delicious. I recommend trying this place out as dessert splurge or just as a snack! read more
