Cheese pizza and a pepperoni slice
    James E.

This place definitely has great pies. And love how old school the place looks with the wood oven. Never been in the front of the restaurant. We always get slices on the side of it. We ordered slices and took a seat outside. They don't have much seating, just two tables. And then brought out our slices out to us. Delicious. If you're in Jersey city definitely stop by.

Doms eating the whole vodka pie for himself!

Still consistently great food!! Calamari is light and crispy, and the vodka pie is fresh, crisp, and flavorful! Love it here. Real food without the gimmicks of other places.

This pizza joint is doing it right. They use the backward technique by putting the sliced mozzarella on the dough then add the sauce and toppings. A very tasty style pizza that takes a little bit of time to make due to their busy location. Even though this is a very tasty pizza, it's not something that I can rave about. Nonetheless, it hits the spot with a clean tasty feel. Yes clean. Not heavy in oil or super doughy... this can be a nice cheat meal!

I appreciate a classic pizza joint and apparently it's family run and old school which is the vibe you get when entering. I am a Neapolitan style guy and they do not promote it being a Neapolitan style spot however the three things that I seek to gauge quality is the dough, the cheese, and the sauce. This place has a nice sauce, borderline sweet and you can tell it's made with love. The cheese was pleasant but it was smothered in sauce, an odd rendition of Margherita but it was pretty good. The thing that killed it for me was the dough. The crust is that unpleasant middle ground between thin crust and not quite NY slice thickness so it's not even worth eating. Thin crust can just be blended into a slice while a thick crust or Neapolitan can be enjoyed separately because its got body and you can savor the flavor. It's really disappointing because the photos on line do look enticing and SOMETIMES even if crust has this girth, it still is backed with some fluff or unique flavor but this just fell short. I'm giving it 3/5 merely because of the quality homemade sauce and faint flavor of quality cheese.

WOWWWW just wow! I ordered for pickup which was quick and easy. The staff was attentive which I loved considering there was a lot of people waiting for orders. They made sure each person was greeted and had an ETA on when their order would be out. 10/10 for customer service! I decided to order a cesar salad, a small "Kathy" pie and Mikes hot honey. The pizza was amazing, especially with the hot honey drizzled on top. the cesar salad is now one of my favorites! Not a lot of cesar salads have the shaved parm so I truly appreciate one that does. Everything about this place is a 10/10 to me. I can't wait to come back and order more menu items.

A little surprised with the mixed reviews because I love this place. I've only done take out twice but both times have been great. I can see why there are negative reviews on the service, as they aren't the most friendly people. However I would continue to come back here as I've personally had a good experience. Pizza- made fresh and they are often making it whenever I walk in, and baked in wood fire oven. Flavors are great and you can tell its an authentic pizza. The small pizza is perfect 12" personal size and definitely large enough for me to eat for a meal, I usually eat four of the small pizza slices and am full. I also had their salad which is okay, nothing to write home about but a good accompaniment to the pizza. Service - not the friendliest people and definitely very straightforward, no formalities and they are there just to give you your food, which I don't mind as I'm doing pick up and my orders have been accurate. They double checked with me too what food I ordered before I walked out. If you do pick up you go to the door on the side street. Haven't eaten in before but its BYOB and has a few seats on the inside.

The pizza is very good. I'm not the biggest fan of thin crust but this was great. Got the Kathy and the Mike (fried eggplant instead of prosciutto) and both were so good. Can't really go wrong. The prices weren't crazy for Jersey City. It was easy to get a table on a Tuesday night for dinner. Jersey City isn't overflowing with great pizza and I'd recommend here if someone asked where to get a pie around the downtown/Hamilton Park area. This is a 4.5 kind of place but gets the bump up for how friendly and helpful the staff was and how quickly everyone came out.

Tiny space. The food was great. Bread and fresh olive oil. Garlic bread with sauce. The service was impeccable. You can bring your own wine.

Margherita pizza with meatballs on one side. Small

Excellent pizza and really nice staff. We ordered a small vegetarian pizza with meatballs on one side. But we got a margherita pizza delivered instead. I called up and the person I spoke to was so nice and said we can keep the pizza and they will send another. The cheese is really great quality and the flavor of the whole pizza is really good. A small is enough for 2 people. They cut it into 6-8 slices. The kale caeser salad was also very good. Came with bread and was large. The parmesan cheese they put on it was creamy and not stinky at all it was very good. Same with the dressing. The first online order you do through thier website is 10% off. I will def order again! Totally affordable. Under 30 for a salad and pizza for 2 including delivery, tip and tax charges.

Decor/actual restaurant: This particular location is very small and tight with limited in-store seating. The interior is cute, I like the blue color theme they have here. For a restaurant designed for to-go orders, I believe that there could be more waiting room and a couple less chairs. Service: Like many "fast food adjacent" restaurants, the people who work there have good customer service but I imagine deal with the worst. I know they're doing great with the situation they're in. Kudos to them. Food: this is probably my harshest critique. I ordered a pesto chicken sandwich, and it was fine. I don't believe it was worth the $16 I spent though. The chicken was kind of bland, tasted similarly to frozen grilled chicken pieces you buy from a grocery store. I do wish there was more sauce. The pesto tasted good but overall there was too much bread. I fear you would be better off making something like this at home for a comparable price. The bread was good, just too much. I don't want to base the menu on this sandwich alone, a lot of the menu options sounded delicious, but this was just the experience I had!
