The food, service and ambience are superb. Inside and outside is clean. The servers and other staff are friendly. It's hard to give 5 stars as the few nights we came the DJ was just uncooperative with the patrons requests. He seems to just be set in his ways, the mangers need to address that.

The wonderful breakfast burrito with home fries for a tasty and filling breakfast.

The quality of the food here is exceptional. They make the best breakfast burritos in the area. I have eaten my way through their menu and always enjoyed the meal. And their chef makes the best San cocho. Fridays and Saturdays I suggest you get there early as they fill up. When you go, usually there is parking out front and they have talented bar tenders.

Went to Dinner with a large group of friends (20). They knew we were coming. Service was great. My food came out cold, they warmed it & served it SHEIN, it was not bueno! I returned it and asked for chicken Fajitas. The Fajitas were delicious!!!! Highly recommend. Great place for families, date etc.... They have happy hour drinks under $6.00. Plenty of parking. Conveniently located corner of Gateway & Congress. On some nights they have music.

Was invited there for a birthday celebration. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa. Wow, what a disappointment. As soon as I saw it on my plate, I asked the waitress to just wrap it to go. The presentation was poor & being a foodie, I can taste the food before putting it in my mouth. When I got home, yes, I was right, totally tasteless. Only 1 pc of ripe plantains, no green plantain (as described on the menu); an erepa that tasted like it was days old; the same with the rice & beans. I hear the restaurant in Boynton Beach has more finesse than this one, so I will try that one at some point. This one, I'm afraid I won't visit again. And watch your bill. They automatically add a tip of 22% to the total bill, then add a blank slot for additional tip. Double dipping if you are not paying attention or had too much to drink.

Excellent dinner here the other night. Thank you to Quinn for her good review -- as it enticed us to come here -- and we are so glad we did. As stated, the restaurant is on the east side of jog road heading north. It's much bigger inside than you would guess -- including a bar, bandstand area, speakers everywhere, booths, high tops, and regular tables. Ample free parking in the small strip center lot out front. The menu is large and frankly it was hard to decide what to order. Many styles of Latin cuisine are represented -- Peruvian ceviche, familiar Cuban dishes, and other south and Latin American fare. I chose their medium size whole fried snapper. It came with salad and tostones. Even the salad was good -- I liked the dressing; and the tostones were very good: soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside (sometimes they taste like cardboard). The fish was huge! I know if I order this in the future, I could get the smaller size. And the fish was very good. Crispy skin and flavorful white meat. Plenty of lime slices to squeeze on top. Yum. My husband got their roast pork (lechon asado). The meat (his words) was tender, juicy, flavorful along with sweet slices of onions. For sides, he had yellow rice and sweet plantains. He devoured every bit. We took some caramel flan home to share for dessert as we were both so full from our meals. It was a nice light sweet ending to an evening with very good food and good service. I'm sure we will be back here again -- now that we've sampled their food. There are lots more dishes we'd like to try.

    Lunch menu

I just went to this restaurant for the first time today for lunch. I was so glad I did. I just wanted a light lunch and their lunch menu fit the bill. I ordered the steak tacos with lentil soup. Both were quite delicious. My waitress was very prompt and friendly. The restaurant itself is a nicely decorated clean facility. They have a large bar that I am sure is quite popular in the evening. The dinner menu has some enticing items we will try when we return. With a nice facility, great service and tasty food, we will be returning here soon.

Yup, I will return as often as possible. I went here during lunch on a weekend day, it wasn't busy we were seated right away and greeted with a smile. The place is huge on the inside, a stage, bar area and private dining. They host an array of weekly night and weekend events such as karaoke and ladies night. Myself and my coworker ordered a paella and chicken dish with a side order of empanadas. Everything was served hot fresh and full of bursting flavors!!! The portion sizes for lunch are very large so you could share with someone but if you are like me you really don't want to. The waitress was super nice and helpful. The manager Edgar even came out to check on us! I loved the food so much I ordered from the catering menu... Yesss they cater. The will now be catering my upcoming luncheon at the City of Greenacres and sorry rsvp's are now closed! (Hehehe) I hear they have amazing margaritas, I'll have to check them out next week at ladies night to comment on them! I'm sure they are delicious.

Being there 3 times with my wife and daughter an the service has been terrible, first time my wife ask for a second drink and 15 minutes later some other water brought her a glass of water instead second time my food came out but my wife and daughters when theirs came out my food was cold 3rd time my daughters birthday I told my waitress to bring dessert with a candle and sing and she brought it out but no singing and no silverware, food is absolutely great but the hole team needs more training staring from however runs the kitchen

Empanadas were good. We had grilled chicken rice and plantains. Chicken was dry and plantains had no taste.

However, I know from traveling that some of the best spots are ones that appear to be a hole in the wall. I walked in, very cute inside! Staff was welcoming and I cozied right up at the bar to wait for my friend. I was immediately brought chips and salsa and a cold beer. We ended up sitting at a high top and our waitress suggested that I try either carne asada from the Mexican menu or Vaca Frita from the Cuban menu. I love me some carne asada but I was intrigued but this 'fried shredded beef' that was marinated in mole and cooked in a hot skillet until crispy. She suggested sweet plantains to go with it and white rice with beans which is traditional Cuban (instead of yellow rice). IT WAS FABULOUS! It was crispy on the outside and juicy. The mole was flavorful but not spicy and i appreciated that the meat was not dripping in sauce. My dinner date ordered chicken tamales which were seasoned in a Cuban style with yellow rice. She is used to Mexican tamales but said these really hit the spot! The only blemish on the nice was her second margarita which was the cucumber one which she didn't like at all. However, the first one she ordered (pictured) which was a different flavor was a show stopper.

We had a very long table and the servers were great in getting our orders. I ordered the Horchata in the lunch special, Lechon asado. The Horchata was delicious and not too sweet, which was great. I really liked my lechon asado. It was a good portion but the one thing is my plantains were pretty burned. I also got to try some of my mom's tacos. And those were yummy as well. Would come back!

Back when they used to focus only on their food. Last visit, my Cuban sandwich was absolutely gross, the bread was rock hard, the pernil was super dry, and the cheese wasn't even melted. I let that one slide and chalked it up to the kitchen having a bad day. However, yesterday was even more horrendous experience. I've been Puerto Rican my entire life lol. Almost 50 years of existence. I have never in my life encountered a more soggy greasy and squishy Chicharron as I did yesterday. It was an absolute abomination. A disgrace to all of Latin heritage. The little bits of meat were rock hard and burnt to a crisp. What's supposed to be crispy skin, was completely soggy and soft. As if it had never been cooked at all. I have no idea how you could get the meat burnt to a crisp and the skin completely soggy on pork belly. I'm completely appalled the fact that it was even given to me. Whoever was in the kitchen should have known better than to serve that slop. It's an embarrassment to the establishment to even have put that into the window to be given to a customer. There's absolutely no way the person in the kitchen knows what they're doing with Latin food if that was served. It deeply saddened me to say I'll never go back to this place again. Not even for a beer. Seeing as how the prices have skyrocketed and the food quality has gone into the toilet I'll pass. Thank you.(pictures taken before the Chicharron was given to the dogs as a snack, because even bad food doesn't go to waste in my house)
