The food, ambiance and service were all amazing. I highly recommend coming here for brunch on any day. If you have a chance request for Jeff - an amazing server, witty and a great conversationalist. If it's your first time I would try the tower to find what you may or may not like. So for the next time that you go, you already know. Definitely have the French toast - one it's big second the outside is crispy while the inside is warm and soft and third it may be big but it's so good you could go for another. This place is worth coming back regularly. read more

Sadelle's is a super poppin brunch spot that gains a lot of fame from tiktok and insta. We got brunch reservations for 3 at 3p on a Sunday afternoon. What we ordered: we each just got a salmon and cream cheese bagel spread. The presentation is lovely and our server was so nice. It did take us forever to get drinks. We were done eating by the time we got them. (Not our server's fault. He was great!) The salmon + cream cheese + bagel was around $24. And was it worth that?.....I have had bagels that compared to this one for $6. Overall: it's a fun atmosphere and a good place to post for socials, but not worth the price imo. read more

We came here for the first time on a Sunday morning. Great salmon Benedict and bagel and lox. Their salmons are one of the best in the city. Service was also great and the ambiance is nice. Wish they had an espresso machine though. read more

This was a good experience. We ordered the whitefish bagel, an order of latkes, and the "Freddy" salad. Our server, I believe, would've been named "Hannah," or something of that ilk. We didn't ask, she just had that vibe. Could've been another name. But she was a good server, I won't speculate any further about her life. The white fish and the bagel was my favorite. I love smoked salmon, too, but recently I've been enjoying whitefish salad (perhaps even more...?) on a good bagel. I like it at Barney Greengrass, and I also recently had it at that new place Apollo Bagels (good there too.) The Freddy salad was g surprisingly good- surprising given how simple it is. I don't even like shrimp that much. Somehow, the artichoke hearts were extra tender. The latkes are great, small order, but great. I will advise that the sour cream is sort of buttery and salty, almost like an aioli. Still mixes well with the applesauce. I'd recommend putting some of your whitefish salad on it, if there's some left after the bagel. Even though the individual menu items seem expensive at first glance, we ended up actually full, and only spent like $35 each before tip. That's pretty good. Wonderful experience on so many levels. Went here for a special birthday and it was so nice. I'd been looking forward to a meal here for a long time and wasn't disappointed. Ambience is fantastic..pretty decor, high ceilings and best of all...not super noisy. Where to start... bloody Mary's looked delicious with right amount of horseradish and I had a wonderful tequila cocktail w cucumbers. Yum. We ordered the tower : an orgy of sturgeon, Scottish salmon with of course bagels and lox. Salmon was exquisite ...buttery and smooth. Only disappointment were the bagels...not terrible but adequate. Surprise hit of apps was the exquisite French toast ...one of the best things I've ever had. We were sharing but I wanted a whole plate for myself. Next time !! The pigs in a blanket were also delightful. Service for most part was terrific. Would I go back? You betcha !! read more

Summary - if you like food more than vibes, please go elsewhere. There are so many actual bagel place that's worth the money and time to come here. Food - at best they are edible. Consider this actually bagel, I don't know. Bagel is small and more like a flat bread. At most you can get like 4 bites and for $25, I don't know what to say. Bagel shouldn't be that expensive. Moving to Brussels sprout, they are actually decent. Also the wait for the food is sooooo long. Ambiance - this place is crowded and long wait without reservation. Service is very good. But seriously took 30 minutes to get a few bagels. Overall - not worth the hype. read more

Didn't understand the hype with this place at all. The food was bland at best. I've had better white fish from other places. One of the bagels was decently smaller than the other one. They had cold area blowing through the whole top area when it was snowing out. Their green tea was amazing! Overall not worth the value when there's other better bagel places in NYC read more

I came here wondering if this place was overhyped as most popular social media spots are, but I was pleasantly surprised. We came in for brunch, and the place was packed. Reservations are definitely recommended if you want to avoid waiting for a long time for a table. This place has a cool rustic industrial look. I enjoyed seeing the sliced fish on display and the area where they make the bagels. They also had Russian nesting dolls on display. There are 2 different levels. We got a spot on the upper level, and the corner booth seating was very comfortable. The menu has a variety of Jewish deli staples such as sliced fish and bagels, along with your more typical brunch items like French toast and omelets. Our server was Enriquetta. She was awesome and gave us great recommendations! Despite how busy it was, she was very attentive and checked on us throughout the meal. We ordered a variety of items, including the fish tower with house salmon, smoked salted salmon, sturgeon, bagels, pigs in a blanket, French toast, grapefruit, and pickles. The quality of the fish was impressive. The fish was fresh and so flavorful, the house salmon and sturgeon practically melted in my mouth. The fish tower is popular not just because it looks good in pictures but is absolutely delicious and a must try if you come to this place. The French toast is probably the best I've had, and I'm not typical a fan of French toast, but this was crispy on the outside and soft and delicious on the inside. A surprising favorite was the grapefruit. They added some brown sugar, and this enhanced the flavor really nicely. For drinks, we had the Sadelle's spritz and raspberry smash both fruity and refreshing. The espresso martinis were so good! I can not say enough about the quality of the food. Everything we had was on point. This place is pricey, but that's expected considering the location and quality. read more

Best French toast!!! It's thick, crispy on the outside but also soft and moist on the inside. Love it. Their egg salad is perfect for kids since it's not too salty and goes well with the bagels. What was surprising for me was the grapefruit cocktail. The top was brulee'ed and the mix of sweet and sour was perfect. Although weekends are hard to book but week days are much easier. read more

We had a 9AM reservation and were promptly seated at a great table. Our server immediately appeared to take our drink order. This was right at opening, so I attributed the prompt service to the lack of patrons, as our time there progressed, the service remained top notch. My coffee cup was watched like it owed them money, empty plates taken away with a sleight of hand, and sparkling water refilled before I realized the goblet was low. It's a small space but somehow not overwhelming with chatter. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We had the smoked salmon and the eggs with potatoes and bagel. The salmon was a delicate balance of smoke and fresh salmon flavor, the veggies served chilled and the everything bagel had great chew. The eggs were seasoned and delicious. I really enjoyed the smashed and griddle crisp potatoes along with my sesame bagel and cream cheese. The portions were more than sufficient and the coffee was superb. Once again, an nyc hotspot disappoints. Clearly more scene than substance. Don't get the pancakes. They can't even get a basic batter right. Extremely mealy and crumbles apart on the fork. I'll stick with my usual spots that are actually good. Honestly, even a place like Grey Dog does things better with considerably better value, and when places like Clinton Street Baking company are available, dining here makes zero sense. read more

While I was in NYC, my friend took me to Sadelle's! I appreciated that they had gluten free bagels and it didn't taste like cardboard. My friend made a reservation for us here and we got seated quickly. The team here was always checking on us and made sure we got what we needed. The spread was decent and good for your basic bagel sandwich. My only feedback is make sure you mark off on resy when people check-in. We got charged a no show fee, even though we ate at the establishment. We also had a really hard time getting ahold of anyone via phone and email, after we saw the charge the next day. We had go out of our way to go to the restaurant to tell them what happened. At first, they didn't believe us until we showed them the email and the charges along with our receipt of eating there. Eventually, it got taken care off and it should have been an easier process to get the $150 no show fee taken off the card. read more

The Highlights- trendy brunch, strong cocktails Reservations Highly Recommended. Sadelle's Soho is that girl and she knows it. Brunch is always booked weeks in advance and a lengthy wait for walk-in's. Mimosa's were an 80/20 mix (iykyk) - solid start. I ordered the Soho Omelette (4/5) and a side of sausage (5/5), both were great. Breakfast potatoes were a miss but the Crispy Latkes were such a hit they didn't get a photo op- would recommend. Overall Experience- Positive. Sadelle's has locations in other major cities throughout the country that I'll definitely visit going forward. read more

TikTok brought us to Sadelle's, it was a must-do on our trip to New York. We made a reservation prior to our our trip and had no issues. On the day of our reservation (7/22/2023), we arrived a bit early and there were already people waiting. They opened on time and we were sat immediately. Our waitress greeted us quickly and we started off with (the overpriced) mimosas, they were good. For our meals, we got the French toast and a salmon tower. The French toast was perfection, literally touched by an angel. Both my husband and I are not generally people who like sweet food, but this French toast was unnaturally good. However, the salmon tower was mediocre and that's me being giving. The salmon had a smell and did not taste good, in addition the cream cheese was also not good. I am going against the grain as everyone loves the salmon tower, we were excited about the tower, however we do not recommend...at all. The reason this is a 4 out of 5 (I debated on a 3) is because the French toast and service were superior, we recommend the restaurant and we also look forward to going back, however skip the salmon tower! read more

Sadelle's is super hyped up and I think while it's not bad, it definitely doesn't live up to the hype. The ambiance is very nice and the service is great. The food was good, but not anything special. They're famous for their French toast, but I honestly found it to be extremely greasy and heavy, I wasn't a fan. The pancakes were pretty good but kinda dry. I didn't try the bagel tower but my dad thought it was just alright, nothing special. Overall, I would probably come back for the vibes and probably order some different things to try. read more

My group and I had a wonderful time at Sadelles! We got a last minute reservation and we're so happy to finally be able to try it. We were seated promptly and served very quickly. The tower is a must have !! It came with house salmon, smoked salmon, sable, sturgeon, whitefish salad, and smoked salmon salad as well as many tomatoes and cucumbers to add to the endless bagel supply! Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. They truly use quality fish. This was more than enough for 4 people and we even took some home. Ordered eggs any way which comes with potatoes and a bagel. Nothing special about the dish. Service was subpar; ordered an americano as soon as I got seated and they forgot about it so I got my meal and still waited for my coffee. Half way to through i reminded my waiter and instead just ordered coffee. It tasted burnt- finished it either way. Many tables around me ordered the bagel salmon tower so maybe that's what keep this place busy but coffee was bad and my dish was average not worth they hefty price in my opinion read more

Yes this place is worth the hype- we grabbed a resi a few weeks ago for brunch at 2pm on a Saturday. Place was packed as expected but service was really great! We ordered Paloma's/Mimosas to start - then ordered house salmon, tuna melt and the French toast. Prob the best 3 things - each of them really nailed it. Loved the salmon presentation, the tomato's/cucumber/caper/dill tower just makes it more fun. The tuna was delish and perfect to share and the French toast was really good! It's more like a bread pudding? It came with syrup and this delish jam, SO good. I'm so glad we went- service was so kind and they didn't rush us out at all. I'd love to go back and try the salads! A tourist trap -- brought to you by the Major Food Group, a chain of eateries that thinks all diners are suckers. You know they think the customers are dopes when they unabashedly proclaim on their website -- without any reviews -- their's is "the best bagel in America". Don't believe the hype. I live nearby and went in today to do a simple task - buy a single wholewheat bagel to go. Well, they don't sell wholewheat, only sour dough. Weird , but , OK. The tiny bagel (it weighed 100 gram on my kitchen scale, while most bagels weigh about 150 g.) cost $3.00!! Every other bagel store in NYC maxes out at $2. But to add insult (or rip-off) to injury, they charge sales tax on the bagel. THAT IS AGAINST THE LAW. There is no sales tax on bread, or a single bagel to go. So the price was $3.27. I gave the clerk a $5 bill. Without saying a word, he disappears to the back of the place and, after 5 minutes, brings the manager up front, who has to scrounge through the tip jar to give me my change = a dollar bill, six dimes, and three pennies - cluttering my pocket with change. I mean, they couldn't just give 3 quarters = scrounging over pennies on an overpriced, illegally tax, tiny bagel? So, lesson is = this is totally unacceptable. If you are a tourist seeking to be ripped off by this restaurant chain, shop here. For the savvy, avoid it like you would avoid the other rip-off restaurants from this group, like Torrissi or Carboners. You know any restaurant that has an outlet in Vegas is purely for losers. Do what we downtown NYers do, avoid this tourist trap. I read more

We take walk ins all day, depending on how busy we are the wait varies from 30 minutes to 3 hours at our absolute busiest. It is also much easier to walk in and be sat right away before 10am in the weekends.

My sister first introduced to me to this spot when she went with her boss, she raved about it! I finally made it there, and it was everything she said it would be. The decor and atmosphere is amazing and the food is fantastic! The house locks and everything bagel is the best I've ever had. I've also ordered their chocolate babka and sticky buns, both great! On occasion I have ordered sides, and was never impressed by them. But the reason I can't give this spot a full 5 stars is because of the employees. Whenever I go there the hostess is ALWAYS rude. Just like you can count on always getting a good bagel there, you can always count on the fact that the hostess is rude. Besides the hostess the other thing that always happens without fail is that the waiters pressure you to order more. Whenever I order I they always say it isn't going to be enough and tell me I should order more. How about I eat what I get and if I need or want more then I order more? It feels very pushy and always makes me very uncomfortable, not to mention it's expensive! With the exception of one waiter, Austin, who is the best one there. Sadelle's really needs to provide customers with a much better service experience to match the rest of the experience. My friends had been telling me about the great bagels at this place for years so on my recent trip they invited me to join them. They had reservations for 8:30. I got there at 8:15 and waited outside for my friends to arrive. I looked inside and saw the morning lineup of staff in their dress whites being given their daily pep talk by the manager. That led me to believe that the Service would be great....WRONG! We were first to be seated but had to wait about 10 minutes to be approached only after my friend caught the manger walking by. She got us started with coffee but only brought one. We had to wait for her to pass by again to ask for our other two coffees. She left without bringing cream. Checking out the menu menu, I gasped at the prices.... $18 for the sticky buns (3 Small) I had heard so much about. They were good but not $18 Good. I ordered a plate of scrambled eggs, bagel and potatoes. I felt a little guilty because I knew my friend was treating. The prices about what you'd pay for a brunch at a good hotel (outrageous). The bagel was certainly not the best or even close. The day before I had a great bagel at Hudson Bagel and I think it was less than 3 with cream cheese. I loved what we ate in the restaurant. I had the Beverly Salad which was in my opinion the best salad I have ever had. I don't write reviews but after what the girl at the bakery counter did, even almost a week later I am furious! My sister is a little person, she has struggled her entire life the whispers, the unkind looks. After going through the sadelles instagram I found this picture, the girl in this picture pointed out very hurtful remarks in front of many people, she made comments to my sister which were appalling regarding her height especially since she's at work. Why would Major Food hire someone who alienates their customers?! The gentleman in the picture however was very kind, outgoing and tried to do everything to redeem our business, I appreciated everything he did, he was very sweet but the damage is done I'll never go here again after what she put my sister through. it's sad because we love Carbone!!! read more

I am a little dumbfounded by the reviews about the lack of customer service. I went in this afternoon with my buddy, his girlfriend and my girlfriend and the guy who took our order, Jermey was amazing! He walked us through every pastry and bagel as well as the process for ordering a sandwich . Additionally he engaged in polite conversation and was really engaged in ensuring we had a positive experience. I have lived in NYC for 6 years now since my tour was finished in iraq. I have to agree with many of the people on here, customer service is awful in NY but I can actually say this kid gave the BEST customer service experience I ever had at a restaurant! As for the food - The house salmon on an everything bagel with capers, onions and tomatoes is the way to go! WOW. Sadelle's blew my expectations out of the water. Very cute ambiance -- clean, presentable and fun. The food is so fresh and absolutely on point with their flavors. We had the salmon tower with everything bagels (10/10), matzah ball soup (10/10) and challah french toast (100/10) The challah french toast is sooooooooooooooooo good. Fresh bread with a golden crispy outside and a soft and eggy + melty inside. It's so good I canceled my reservations at polobar to come back tomorrow I promise you guys, this is the kind of restaurant that can solve world conflicts.
