Amazing quality kbbq! Got the XL Beef Special Combo ($134.99) and cheesy steamed eggs ($8.99). The quality of meats here are much better than what you'd get at ayce kbbq like gen or omi. Favorite cuts were brisket and marinated kkotsal- sooo tender and yummy. Each combo comes with choice of soup- we got doenjang jigae and wow, it surpassed our expectations! Soup is very rich in flavor and creamier than most doenjang jigaes at other kbbq spots. The service is also great! Went for dinner arrived around 5:45pm called ahead to make certain that we did NOT require reservation and the lady that answered said no - since we were a party of 5 + 1 baby. The place was almost empty but as the night went on quickly became full. Even on this Thursday night. They quickly seated us brought out the sides which included a cabbage salad, potato salad, miso/ seaweed soup, pickled onions, wasabi, kimchi, salt and pepper and many more... all delicious but our fave were definitely the salad and pickled onions. We ordered the mix combo (beef/pork) we asked how many people that would feed and it was suggested 4. We had two adults and four kids and I would say it was definitely enough. It comes with a rice bowl too. There's water for every table and cups. The soda offered is a can. The servers were nice and all really take care of all the tables making rounds. The meat was good! They actually come and flip it for you, of course you're allowed to do it but with it being our first time we just let them do the cooking. My personal favorite was the kimchi stew! But as far as the meats my kids enjoyed the beef finger steak and marinated beef thin skirt. The environment is calm and has dim lighting no loud music which is nice. Clean plates, even changing the grills with every meat and answered all questions about menu. Would recommend! read more

The kimchi has a excellent flavor. I ordered the Dolsot Bibimbap which is served in a hot zone pot. The server told me this is a chain restaurant in Korea and is one of only two in the United States. The dish is rice covered by vegetables and pork. It is topped by a fried egg. It has fantastic flavor and I will order it again. All of this was just $14.99. We got the $79.99 beef combo and it was sufficient for the three of us. The cheese egg Jjim is very good too. All of the side dishes/soups were good and seasoned well - really liked the picked radish especially. Only thing that didn't wow was the special sauce that came with the meat (was fine but tasted just like watered down soy sauce). I thought that because it just opened, service would be poor (common for places that are still trying to hire servers and staff) but was pleasantly surprised by the level of service. This is one of my favorite kbbq places when I go back to visit Orange County so to my delight, they have opened up a location right next to my house. I think the meat quality is very good and the marinade is just the right amount. The corn cheese soufflé is also delicious and I have no complaints about service when I visited twice. They were really attentive but that could also be due to me going during off hours and what seemed like the staff's lunch time. Comparing to the non AYCE places price wise, I would say it's comparable.
